
Background
•Maya devices have no command line interface for reasons of security and avoiding
implementing multiple user interfaces on the device
•Provisioning, configuration, management, and troubleshooting are all handled from a
browser connected to the Cloud-based Maya Control Center (Portal)
•The Portal transmits configuration to the device and collects data from the device
•Factory units are set to use DHCP on their WAN port as the default
•If a unit is to be deployed where the WAN connection has no DHCP but uses static IP, the
unit’s Local Web Interface is used to set the WAN port to static IP
•The Local Web Interface can be used as a basic management tool. Its usage is
documented here with a focus on setting a Static IP address.
