To control the Ai2 by the keypad, use the middle button
on the keypad to select “Control” from the main menu.
Once you are in the control menu, scroll up and down
with the direction buttons to iew the a ailable
functions.
Press the middle button to select the function you want
to start.
You will now ha e the option to
SEND IR CODE
, CANCEL
or GO, press the GO button (down key) to start the
function.
The Ai2 will then begin the function that was selected. You can stop the Ai2 by pressing the
middle button.

To set the Ai2 up to be controlled with your home
TV/DVD/VCR remote control, each Ai2 function needs to
be allocated to different buttons on your remote control.
To begin, use the middle button on the keypad to select
control from the main menu.
Note: To control the Ai2 from a remote control you must
ha e the IR Recei er module connected.
Once you are in the control menu, scroll up and down
with the direction buttons to iew the a ailable
functions.
Press the middle button to select the function you want
to allocate to a button on your remote control. We ha e
selected the Dri e Forward function.
Note: Each function is allocated to a different button on
your remote one at a time.
You will now ha e the option to SEND IR CODE, CANCEL
or GO, for the Dri e Forward function. At this time, you
can press & release the button on your remote control
that you want to operate the Dri e Forward function. You
will hear a confirmation beep from the sounder to
indicate success.
Once you ha e done that, the Ai2 will now dri e forward
e ery time you press that button. Repeat these steps
again for all of the functions in the Ai2.
If you ha e an up direction button on your remote, it makes dri ing your Ai2 easier if you use
it for the forward function, down for the Dri e Backward function and so on.
If you find that the Ai2 does not respond to your remote control, simply repeat the process
with different remote control. 95% of TV/DVD/VCR remotes will be compatible with the Ai2,
howe er there is a small quantity that will not be compatible.
