This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is
equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

illustrated in sketch A. Make sure that the product is connected to an outlet having the same
configuration as the plug. No adapter should be used with this product.

CAUTION! To avoid an unstable condition, place heavier
components at the bottom of the cabinet. When more than
one component is placed in the cabinet, begin at the
bottom of the cabinet and place equipment at the lowest
available point, evenly distribute weight (vertically) within
the cabinet.

When using an electrical furnishing, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
• For institutional use.
• Read and follow all instructions before using.
• WARNING – Death or serious injury may occur when children climb on audio and/or video equipment furniture.
A remote control or toys placed on the furnishing may encourage a child to climb on the furnishing and as a result the
furnishing may tip over on the child.
• WARNING – Relocating audio and/or video equipment to furniture not specifically designed to support audio and/or
video equipment may result in death or serious injury due to the furnishing collapsing or over turning onto a child.
• DANGER – To reduce the risk of electrical shock:
Always unplug this furnishing from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
• WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1. Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.
3. Use this furnishing only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate the furnishing if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return the furnishing to a service center for examination and repair.
5. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point

7. Never operate the furnishing with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.

11. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
12. For chairs and similar furnishings with movable parts such as foot supports the following statement:

13. WARNING: Risk of Electric Shock – Connect the furnishing to a properly grounded outlet only.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one
wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third
prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement
of the obsolete outlet.
14. For loading always put heavier items at the bottom and not near the top in order to help prevent the possibility of the
furnishing tipping over.
15. Each surface is intended to support a load shall have a corresponding statement in the use instructions specifying the
maximum intended load for the surface in pounds and (kilograms).
16. WARNING: The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as
vases, shall be placed on the apparatus"
17. The mains plug is used as your disconnect device. This device shall remain readily operable.
18. Clean only with dry cloth.
19. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
20. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
21. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any
way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus,
the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

14. Les objets les plus lourds doivent toujours être placés dans la partie inférieure du meuble, et non pas dans la partie
supérieure, afin d'éviter tout risque de basculement du meuble.
15. Chaque surface est destinée à soutenir une charge spécifique et sera accompagnée d'une déclaration dans la fiche
d'instructions spécifiant la charge maximale prévue pour cette surface en livres et en (kilogrammes).

DISPLAY INSTALLATION
Selecting The Mounting Hardware To Attach Brackets To Display
1. Identify the correct diameter screw for the display threaded inserts. The correct screws should
thread easily and not pull out when tension is applied.
2. To determine proper screw length, insert toothpick or small straw (as a thread
depth indicator) into a threaded insert on the display.
3. Mark the thread depth indicator ⅛” above the
depth of the threaded insert. (FIGURE A)
4. Select a screw that is shorter than the ⅛” mark
made on the thread depth indicator.
NOTE: It is recommended to position the
display so that it is centered with the
eye line of the viewer.

mounting screw and the vertical mounting bracket as shown.

Nylon Spacers (FIGURE D, PAGE 12)
Nylon spacers add distance between vertical
mounting bracket and the display. They will fit
all supplied screw sizes. The spacers must be
used only when attaching to displays which have:
• Recessed mount points
• Uneven mount points
• Any obstruction near the mount points
• A curved back
NOTES:
• Nylon Spacers must be stacked and oriented as shown.
• Nylon Spacers must only be installed between the
vertical mounting bracket and the display.

1. For displays that require VESA 800 spacing, the VESA 800 display adapter bracket must be
used (not required for VESA 600 or less spacing).
2. Place vertical display mounting brackets over VESA 800 adapter bracket studs and secure using
(4) 5/16-18 flange nuts. (FIGURE B)

Attaching Vertical Mounting Brackets to Display
NOTE: The brackets are indicated (L) Left and (R) Right.
1. Place the displayl face down on a soft, flat surface and
identify the number and location of screws.
2. Align the holes on each vertical mounting bracket with the
threaded inserts on the display. (FIGURE D)
NOTE: To ensure a neat appearance, center vertical
mounting brackets on display. Do not extend
brackets past top or bottom of display.
3. Secure each vertical mounting bracket with the
screws and hardware identified in previous
steps. Use a minimum of (2) mounting screws per
vertical mounting bracket.

(2) LL-HC21 horizontal channels, and (1) LL-VP1710 vertical 10” deep plate.

1. Loosen two pre-installed display leveling screws. (FIGURE P)
2. Loosen three pre-installed display bracket screws.
3. Place level on display mount.
4. Make fine adjustments by tightening top display leveling screw (to adjust clockwise) or bottom
display leveling screw (to adjust counterclockwise).
5. With the display now level, hand tighten the display leveling screws and tighten the three display
bracket screws.

CABLE MANAGEMENT / EQUIPMENT MOUNTING
Raise display to highest position before securing cables. Create a service loop to assure adequate
cable length when display is fully extended. Cables can be secured to movable clips (provided) using
wire ties. Position and secure clips in channels as necessary using screws. (FIGURE R)

UNIT MAINTENANCE
1. Clean only using soft dry cloth.
2. Over time, nylon guide bushings in lift mechanism may begin to squeak. To lubricate, apply lithium
or Teflon® grease to bushings on both sides of unit.
