3. Features
3.1 High efficient DC inverter compressor
At the heart of Mini VRF system is a high efficiency twin rotary compressor. It enables the outdoor output to
be modulated by the cooling or heating demands of the control area, ensures precise temperature regulation
and highly efficiency energy usage.
3.2 High performance heat exchanger
The new designed window fins enlarge the heat-exchanging area,
which decrease the air resistance, save more power and enhance heat
exchange performance.
Hydrophilic film fins and inner-threaded copper pipes optimize heat
exchange efficiency.
3.3 Newly designed air outlet grill
Optimally designed fan shape and newly designed grill ensure both safety and air volume.

3.4 Wide operation temperature range
No matter in extremely cold winter when outdoor temperature gets as low as -15°C or in hot summer when
temperature is up to 46°C, the Mini VRF system will keep stable performance.
3.5 Flexible piping design
3.6 Space saving design
The Mini VRF units are slimmer and more compact, resulting in significant savings in installation space.
In some large residential and light commercial areas, such as villas, restaurants, usually it need more than
one indoor unit, which in turn requires multiple outdoor units.
Midea's Mini VRF system solves this problem, and retains buildings' original aesthetics.

3.7 Auto Addressing
Outdoor unit can distribute addresses for indoor units automatically.
Wireless and wired controllers can query and modify each indoor unit's address.
3.8 More Convenient Piping Connector –Branch Box
Easier and safer installation thanks to a branch box that simplifies piping work and the adoption of screw
connection.
Both left and right pipe flare connectin from outdoor unit to branch box is reserved, which greatly simplifies field
installation.
3.9 Four-Way Piping Connection
A four-direction space is available for connecting
pipes and wiring in various installation sites.

Oil separator: used to separate oil from high pressure & temperature gas refrigerant, which is pumped out
from compressor. It makes the oil return back to each compressor very soon.
Low pressure liquid receiver: It is used to store the liquid refrigerant and oil; it can protect the compressor
from liquid hammer.
4-way valve: Closed in cooling mode and open in heating mode
Electronic expansion valve: The opening is of the valve is regulated according to the discharge air
temperature of compressor, used to regulating refrigerant flow.
High Pressure Switch: When the discharge pressure of compressor is 4.2Mpa or higher, the protection
switch will be triggered, and if the discharge pressure is down to 3.3MPa, the protection switch will be
recovered.
Low Pressure Switch: When thegas pressureback to compressor is 0.14Mpa or lower, the protection switch
will be triggered, and if the discharge pressure is down to 0.3MPa, the protection switch will be recovered.
