Bedienungsanleitung
Vielen Dank, das Sie sich für das Miditech Midiface 1x1 Thru entschieden
haben. Mit dem Midiface 1x1 können Sie mit einfachster Installation eine
MIDI Tastatur oder Eingabegerät an Ihren Computer anschliessen und
einfach von Ihrer DAW verwalten. Mit dem Midiface 1x1 steht Ihnen ein
Standard MIDI Ports mit 16 MIDI Kanälen als Ein- und Ausgang zur
Verfügung!
So bekommen Sie Ihr MIDI Hardware Setup übersichtlich verwaltet.
Im Verlauf dieser kurzen Bedienungsanleitung werden wir einige Hinweise
zur Installation und Funktion des Midiface 1x1 geben.
Technische Daten des Midiface 1x1:
●Einfacher Anschluss an den Computer über USB 1, 2 oder 3
●Läuft unter Windows XP SP3, Vista 32 und 64 Bit, Windows 7 32
und 64 Bit, Windows 8 32 und 64 Bit, und Mac OS X.
●USB Powered, keine weitere Stromversorgung nötig.
Anschluss und Bedienelemente
Das Gehäuse des Midiface 1x1 ist eindeutig beschriftet!
Sie finden an der Frontseite die MIDI Ein-und Ausgänge , auf der Rückseite

den MID IThru Port und den USB Anschluss Port. Hier können Sie mit
handlesüblichen MIDI Kabeln Ihre MIDI Hardware ankabeln. Bitte
beachten Sie, das immer MIDI In- an MIDI Out Buchsen verkabelt werden
müssen.
Auf der Rückseite finden Sie den USBAnschluss des Midiface 1x1 –bitte
verbinden Sie diesen mit dem mitgelieferten USB Kabel an einen freien
USB Port Ihres Computers. Bitte verwenden Sie das Midiface 1x1 NICHT
an einem USB Hub.
Der MIDI Thru Port gibt die Daten des am MIDI Input angeschlossenen
Eingabegerätes oder Keyboards unverändert ohne durch den Computer zu
gehen, aus. Bitte beachten Sie, das das Midiface 1x1 zur Stromversorgung
trotzdem per USB verkabelt sein muss.
Die Installation und Erkennung des Midiface x1 Thru erfolgt durch das
Betriebssystem –das Midiface 1x1 ist "class compliant". Das heisst, Sie
müssen keinen Treiber installieren.
Sollte das Midiface 1x1 nicht richtig erkannt werden, aktualisieren Sie bitte
Ihre USB Chipsatztreiber, bei Intel Systemen ebenso den intel.inf Treiber
oder bei AMD Systemen dieAMD Chipsatztreiber.
Das Midiface 1x1 ist voll USB-powered, dh. es ist zum Betrieb keine
weitere Stromversorgung oder Batterien notwendig.

Owners manual
Many thanks for buying our Midiface 1x1 USB MIDI Interface. With the
Midiface 1x1 you can easily add a MIDI port to your computer system. You
can connect one MIDI keyboards or MIDI hardware to your computer
system. You have up to 16 MIDI channels you can easy and clearly
arranged work with.
Technical specs of the Midiface 1x1 Thru:
●Easy to connect to your Computer with USB 1, 2 or 3
●Works driverless class compliant with Windows XP SP3, Vista 32
and 64 Bit, Windows 7 32 and 64 Bit, Windows 8 32 and 64 Bit,
Windows 10 32 and 64 Bit and Mac OS X.
●MIDI Thru Port
●USB Powered, no additional power necessary

Front and rear view
The cabinet of the Midiface 1x1 is clearly marked.
On the front side you find the MIDI In-and Output, on the back side you
find the MIDI Thru port and the USB Port. At this ports you can connect
your MIDI hardware with standard MIDI cables. Please note that always
MIDI In ports must be connected to MIDI Out ports.

On the rear you find also the USB port. Please connect this USB port with
the USB cable to a free USB port on your computer. Please do NOT use an
USB Hub.
The MIDI Thru port sends the MIDI signal from the MIDI Input directly,
without going thru the computer, to the MIDI Thru port. There will be NO
mix with the data from the PC. To use this MIDI Thru function, the
Midiface 1x1 Thru must be connected for the power with the USB port to a
computer or USB DC power adaptor.
Because the Midiface 1x1 Thru is "class compliant", you do not need to
install a driver. If the Midiface 1x1 is not recognised correct, please update
your mainboards or notebooks USB chipset drivers. Also please update for
Intel system the Intel.inf drivers, for AMD systems the AMD chipset
drivers.
The Midiface 1x1 is full USB powered, you do not need additional power or
batteries.

Important Safety Instructions

5. Moisture –Water and moisture are detrimental to the continued
good health of your Miditech product. Do not install or operate your
Miditech product near sources of water or moisture such as sinks,
damp basements, leaky roofs, etc.
6. Heat –Your Miditech product should be situated away from sources
of heat such as heaters or radiators.
7. Grounding –Precautions should be taken so that the grounding
capabilities of the unit are not undermined. The Audiolink Pro 24/96
provided with a cord with an equipment grounding conductor and
grounding plug. This plug must be plugged into an outlet that is
properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local rules and
ordinances. Do not modify the plug provided with the equipment. If the
plug will not fit into your outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a
qualified electrician.
8. Power Cord Protection –Power supply cords should be routed so
that theyare unlikely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon
or against them. Pay particular attention to protecting the plugs, outlets
and the point at which the cord exits your Miditech product.
9. Servicing–Do not attempt to service this unit yourself, as opening
the case will expose you to hazardous voltage or other dangers. All
servicing should be referred to qualified service persons.

können diese von Kleinkindern verschluckt werden. Folien und Verpackungen sind sachgerecht zu

GEFAHR! Brandgefahr
Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Belüftung des Geräts, um Überhitzung und dadurch eventuelles Entzünden
zu vermeiden. Auch sollte in der Nähe des Produkts nicht geraucht oder mit offenen Flammen hantiert

Betriebsbedingungen
Aufgrund seiner baulichen Eigenschaften sind Miditech Produkte für den Betrieb in Innenräumen konzipiert.
Vermeiden Sie bei der Nutzung direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Verwenden Sie das Gerät auch nicht im
Regen. Es darf keine Flüssigkeit in das Gerät gelangen. Das Gerät darf nur in trockener Umgebung
betrieben werden. Sollten Sie ihr Gerät länger nicht benutzen trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz um Gefahren
zu minimieren. Dasselbe gilt für Unwetterbedingungen wie z.B. Gewitter oder Hochwasser, etc.

GEFAHR! Elektrischer Schlag bedingt durch Kurzschluss
Das Gerät darf nicht verwendet werden, sobald Beschädigungen oder das Fehlen von Komponenten,
Schutzvorrichtungen oder Gehäuseteilen bemerkt werden! Vermeiden Sie, das das Gerät nass wird. Das
kann die Elektronik beschädigen und es besteht die Gefahr eines Stromschlages oder Brands.
Veränderungen am Netzkabel oder USB Kabel sind verboten.
GEFAHR! Hörschaden durch Lautstärke
Unsere Produkte haben vielfach mit der Produktion und Wiedergabe von Musik und Aufnahmen zu tun. Bitte
beachten Sie, dass zu hohe Lautstärke-Pegel Ihrem Gehör Schaden zufügen können!
Reinigung
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich ein trockenes Tuch zur Reinigung und geeignete Kunststoffreiniger, niemals
aggressive Reiniger oder mit Alkohol. Trennen sie das Gerät vorher vom Strom.

Operating conditions
Do not use the keyboard near water, like a swimming pool, bathtub or in wet environment like rain. Do not use
the keyboard near heating elements like a radiator, in high temperatures or in the sun. Use the product only on
your desk and in a dry environment. Do not throw the product.
DANGER! Electric shock due to short circuit
The device must not be used as soon as damage or the absence of components, protective devices or housing
parts is noticed! Avoid getting the device wet. This can damage the electronics and there is a risk of electric
shock or fire. Do not modify the power cord or USB cable.
DANGER! FIRE HAZARD! Ensure that the product is adequately ventilated to prevent overheating
and possible ignition. Also, do not smoke or handle open flames near the product. This may cause the plastic to
ignite.
DANGER! Hearing damage due to volume
Our products have a lot to do with the production and reproduction of music and recordings. Please note that
excessive volume levels can damage your hearing!
DANGER for babies and children
Ensure that children never use the product unattended! Children should not operate the product unattended. If
small parts such as buttons or potentiometers become detached from the product, they can be swallowed by
small children. Foils and packaging must be disposed of properly. There is a danger of suffocation for children.
Cleaning the Miditech product
Only use a dry cloth for cleaning and suitable plastic cleaners, never aggressive cleaners or alcohol. Disconnect
the device from the power supply before use.
Protection of the environment and correct disposal
Information for consumers on the disposal of old electrical appliances
If this symbol is on the packaging, the packaging of the product can be disposed of in the local recycling
process.
Miditech products should not be disposed of with normal household waste. This applies to all electrical and
