R11e-LoRa9
R11e-LoRa9 - LoRa mPCIe Gateway module. Can be integrated into RouterBOARD produ t with mPCIe slot.
Requires LoRa pa kage installation to onfigure in RouterOS.

Installing the module in your device
R11e-LoRa9 for professional use. Ea h of the ards omes in ESD prote tive pa kaging. When handling ele tri al
equipment please observe the following safety pre autions:
•Use a wrist grounding strap when unpa king and working with ele tri al omponents to avoid ele tri al
dis harge (ESD) damage.
•After unpa king please pla e the ard on the anti-stati mat.
•When installing make sure there are no obje ts that an damage or tou h the PCB plate.
•The ard an be installed in your desired devi e using the fa tory provided s rew holes in a PCB plate.

•Install module to the miniPCIe slot and se ure with previously removed s rews. Tightening torque 0,3 Nm.
Connecting to the antenna
If your devi e does not have internal antennas, it is possible to onne t to the external antennas by adding
able onne tors, produ t ode – ACSMAUFL. https://mikrotik. om/produ t/a smaufl
Please onne t and dis onne t the antenna, when the devi e is turned off!
•Atta h antenna ables to the installed module. Bla k able to the main onne tor of the module and gray
able to the aux onne tor. Use rubber/glue to se ure them in pla e.
When installing outdoors please ensure that the devi e ase is waterproof and are designed for outdoor
use. The IP rating s ale for this devi e is IP0.
Mounting and configuration of this device should be done by a qualified person.

Configuration for RouterOS
To set the onfiguration for LoRa please onne t to the devi e and log in with your web browser, Winbox or mobile
appli ation. Two easy steps to follow:
First step:
1. On e logged in, Qui k Set will be sele ted, please swit h to WebFig on the right side of the s reen. If the
onfiguration is done through mobile appli ation then li k on the gear symbol on the right side of the
s reen to open up an advan ed menu.
2. On the left side menu please find and sele t se tion “Lora”.
3. On the newly opened window sele t Servers tab.
1. Cli k + to add new server onfiguration.
2. A New window will appear and you will have to enter:
Name: (Server name)
Address: (Server address)
Up port: (Usually it's 1700)
Down port: (Usually it's 1700)
3. Cli k OK to save.
Se ond step:
4. Sele t the Devi e tab on the previous window.
5. Double- li k or tap on the line to onfigure.
6. Choose previously entered network on the drop-down menu.
7. Cli k on the button Enable to enable the gateway.
8. Cli k OK to save.
9. The onfiguration is done.
Specifications
If LoRa card will be installed in different manufacturers device please set packet forwarding from Semtech.
It will require advanced configuration.

Operating system support
The module supports RouterOS software version v6. Other operating systems have not been tested.
