WELCOME
NORMAL USE
After setup, Mileage Ace Wi Model 2 is designed to stay
permanently in your car, always connected to the USB car charger.
It will automatically acquire a GPS signal and monitor your driving,
recording trips corresponding to when you turn your car on and
o. It will also automatically upload those trips any time it nds a
Wi network it knows how to connect to.
Your device will store your driving in its internal memory until it
comes within wi range. It can hold at least a year of driving, but
the data needs to be uploaded into your account before it can be
viewed. Data is not guaranteed by us until it has been uploaded.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
It is your responsibility to ensure your device is correctly set up
by adding WiFi networks and linking the device to your account. It
is also your responsibility to ensure the device is always on when
you are tracking miles, and that it has access to your WiFi signal.
Check your online account once per week to ensure every trip is
recorded and uploaded. Failure to do so can result in lost trips and
lost mileage.

COMMON QUESTIONS
9
WHEN WILL IT CONNECT TO MY NETWORK?
Mileage Ace Wi Model 2 will search for networks on its own
every 30 seconds when you are driving slower than 10 Mph. If a
network is found, it will connect until the network is unavilable
or the tracker turns o.
WHEN DOES IT END A TRIP?
At the time of this writing, it will end a trip when the vehicle
shuts o for more than 5 seconds or if you are stationary for
more than 5 minutes. These settings will become adjustable
with future updates.
HOW DO I KNOW ITS TRACKING ME?
The big light (see section later in this manual) will blink brighter
every few seconds when the device is actively tracking a trip.
MY POWER PORT DOESNT TURN OFF WITH THE CAR?
This is ne. The tracker will enter Low Power mode after your
car stops for 20 minutes, then will turn back on when you begin
moving again. It will only end trips when you stop for more than 5
minutes as it does not know when the car has turned o.

Mount your Mileage Ace in your vehicle.
Connect the device to the included USB car charger or your
vehicle’s USB port using the USB cable.
SETUP STEP 8:
INSTALL IN VEHICLE
PORTS THAT TURN OFF WITH THE CAR
If available, we recommend you use one of these power ports.
Trips will start and end when you turn the car on and o.
PORTS THAT ALWAYS STAY ON
Your device will end trips when the vehicle stops for 5 minutes.
We highly recommend the device be allowed to turn o once per
month and that you disconnect it from power if the vehicle is not
being used for more than 4 days.
