CORRIGERENDE ORTHESE VOOR ‘S NACHTS
INDICATIES
De EPITACT® Corrigerende orthese voor ‘s nachts dagelijks dragen helpt de
vervorming te corrigeren van hallux valgus te beperken. De orthese helpt mee
nachtelijke gewrichtspijn te verlichten, en maakt komaf met pijn door aanraking.
CONTRA-INDICATIES
• Grote teen die niet zijwaarts kan worden bewogen.
• Gebruik dit product niet overdag.
• Niet gebruiken op een huidletsel.
• Niet gebruiken in geval van diabetes, arteritis, polyneuropathie, neuropathie van
de onderste ledematen of zweren.
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN BIJ GEBRUIK
• Ga eerst na of de grote teen nog zijdelings kan worden bewogen. Is dat niet
het geval, gebruik dit hulpmiddel dan niet.
• De orthese kan thermogevormd zowel aan de rechter- als aan de linker-
voet worden gedragen.
- THERMOVORMING:
Volg de meegeleverde handleiding voor thermovorming. De corrigerende orthese
voor ‘s nachts kan meermaals worden thermogevormd. Raadpleeg indien nodig
een podoloog.
- AANBRENGEN:
• Stop de voorvoet in de grote band.
• Stop de grote teen vervolgens in het kleine omhulsel.
• Vergewis u ervan dat de witte markering zich ter hoogte van uw “knobbel“
bevindt (zie schema bij de meegeleverde handleiding voor thermovorming).
- VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN:
• Het is raadzaam om de orthese de eerste 3 keer slechts 2 uur te dragen.
• Draag de orthese vervolgens de hele nacht.
Wanneer de orthese de eerste keren wordt gebruikt, kan gewrichtspijn worden
ervaren. Vraag uw podoloog om raad als u na 7 nachten nog altijd pijn hebt.
• Als u de orthese 1 maand hebt gedragen en u geen pijn meer
hebt, kan een tweede thermovorming worden uitgevoerd
om de correctie te versterken (zie meegeleverde handleiding
voor thermovorming). De gewenste correctie zal dan worden
verkregen zonder de spreider, maar door zijwaarts aan de grote
teen te trekken (zie schema hiernaast).
ONDERHOUD
• Wasbaar in de machine op 30°C in het meegeleverde wasnetje of met de hand
(zonder te schrobben).
• Aan de lucht laten drogen. Niet strijken. Niet blootstellen aan warmte (>50 °C).
SAMENSTELLING: 52% thermovervormbaar plastic, 28% polyamide/elasthaan,
20% silicone.
De materialen werden onderworpen aan alle wettelijk verplichte tests opgelegd door de ISO 10 933-1
norm betreffende producten die in contact komen met de huid. Indien een probleem mocht voordoen,
gelieve het gebruik ervan onmiddellijk te stoppen en het bedrijf MILLET Innovation hiervan verwittigen.
MILLET Innovation kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld indien het gebruiksadvies van de fabrikant niet

ÓRTESE CORRETIVA DE USO NOTURNO
INDICAÇÕES
O uso diário da órtese corretiva EPITACT® de uso noturno ajuda a corrigir a
deformação do “joanete“. Ajuda a aliviar as dores articulares noturnas e elimina
as dores ao tato.
CONTRAINDICAÇÕES
• Falta de mobilidade lateral do dedo grande do pé.
• Não utilize o produto durante o dia.
• Não utilizar sobre uma lesão cutânea.
• Caso sofra de diabetes, arterite, polinevrite, neuropatia dos membros inferiores
ou úlcera, não utilize o produto.
MEDIDAS DE PRECAUÇÃO
• Primeiramente, com a sua mão, verifique se o dedo grande do pé ainda se
move para os lados. Se não for o caso, não utilize este produto.
• A órtese pode ser termomoldada tanto no pé direito como no pé esquerdo.
- TERMOMOLDAGEM:
Siga as indicações fornecidas no folheto informativo de termomoldagem. A órtese
corretiva de uso noturno pode ser termomoldada diversas vezes. Consulte um
podologista, caso sinta necessidade.
- COLOCAÇÃO:
• Passe o ante pé através da cinta grande.
• Em seguida, enfie o dedo grande do pé na pequena meia.
• Certifique-se que a guia branca está situado ao nível do “joanete“ (ver figura do
folheto informativo de termomoldagem fornecido).
- CONDIÇÕES DE UTILIZAÇÃO:
• Recomenda-se que, aquando das 3 primeiras utilizações, utilize a órtese apenas
durante 2 horas.
• Nas utilizações seguintes, utilize a órtese durante toda a noite.
Poderão ocorrer dores articulares aquando das primeiras utilizações. Em caso
de persistência de dores durante mais que 7 noites, consulte o seu podologista.
• Após 1 mês de utilização da órtese e na inexistência de
dores, poderá ser colocada uma segunda termomoldagem para
aumentar a correção (ver folheto informativo de termomol-
dagem fornecido). A correção desejada será, então, obtida sem
o separador, mas puxando lateralmente o dedo grande do pé
(ver figura ao lado).
MANUTENÇÃO
• Lavável à máquina a 30°C no saco de lavagem próprio para esse efeito ou à
mão (sem esfregar).
• Deixar secar naturalmente. Não passar a ferro. Não expor ao calor (>50°C).
COMPOSIÇÃO: 52% de plástico termomoldável, 28% de tecido em poliamida/
elastano, 20% de silicone
Os materiais foram submetidos a todos os ensaios previstos e impostos pela ISO 10 993-1 relativa
aos produtos que entram em contacto com a pele. Se ocorrer algum incidente com a utilização do
produto deverá interromper imediatamente a sua utilização e informar a empresa MILLET Innovation.

ORTHÈSE CORRECTIVE DE NUIT
INDICATIONS
Le port quotidien de l’Orthèse corrective de nuit EPITACT® aide à corriger la
déformation de l’hallux valgus. Elle contribue à soulager les douleurs articulaires
nocturnes et supprime les douleurs de contact.
CONTRE-INDICATIONS
• Gros orteil non mobile latéralement.
• Ne pas utiliser ce produit durant la journée.
• Ne pas utiliser sur une lésion cutanée.
• Ne pas utiliser en cas de diabète, d’artérite, de polynévrite, de neuropathie des
membres inférieurs ou d’ulcères.
PRÉCAUTIONS D’EMPLOI
• Avant tout, vérifier que le gros orteil soit encore mobile latéralement
lorsqu’on le manipule. Si ce n’est pas le cas, ne pas utiliser ce dispositif.
• L’orthèse peut être thermoformée indifféremment sur le pied droit ou le
pied gauche.
- THERMOFORMAGE :
Suivre la notice de thermoformage fournie. L’Orthèse corrective de nuit peut
être thermoformée plusieurs fois. Si vous en ressentez le besoin, consultez un
podologue.
- MISE EN PLACE :
• Passer l’avant-pied dans le grand bracelet.
• Enfiler ensuite le gros orteil dans le petit manchon.
• Vous assurer que la cible blanche se situe au niveau de votre « oignon » (voir
schéma sur la notice de thermoformage fournie).
- CONDITIONS D’UTILISATION :
• Lors des 3 premières utilisations, il est recommandé de porter l’orthèse 2 heures
uniquement.
• Lors des utilisations suivantes, porter l’orthèse toute la nuit.
Des douleurs articulaires peuvent être ressenties lors des premières utilisations. Si
elles persistent au-delà de 7 nuits, demander conseil à votre podologue.
• Au bout d’1 mois de port de l’orthèse et en l’absence de
douleurs, un 2ème thermoformage pour augmenter la correction
pourra être mis en œuvre (voir notice de thermoformage
fournie). La correction souhaitée sera alors obtenue sans l’écar-
teur, mais en tirant latéralement sur le gros orteil (voir schéma
ci-contre).
ENTRETIEN
• Laver en machine à 30°C dans le filet de lavage fourni ou à la main (sans frotter).
• Laisser sécher naturellement. Ne pas repasser. Ne pas exposer à la chaleur (>50°C).
COMPOSITION: 52% plastique thermoformable, 28 % tissu polyamide/élasthanne,
20 % silicone.
Les matériaux ont fait l’objet d’une évaluation de la biocompatibilité selon la norme ISO 10 993-1
concernant les produits venant en contact avec la peau. Si un incident se produisait, il conviendrait
de cesser immédiatement l’utilisation et de prévenir la société MILLET Innovation.
La responsabilité de la société MILLET Innovation ne peut être engagée en cas d’utilisation non
conforme aux recommandations du fabricant.

NIGHT CORRECTIVE SPLINT
INDICATIONS
Regularly wearing the EPITACT® night corrective splint helps correct the deformity
of your hallux valgus (bunion). It helps relieve night-time joint pain and eliminates
pain caused by contact.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Big toe not mobile sideways.
• Do not use this product during the day.
• Do not use on a skin lesion.
• Do not use in the event of diabetes, arteritis, polyneuritis, peripheral neuropathy
or foot ulcers.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
• First of all, make sure that the big toe can still move sideways when mani-
pulated. Otherwise, do not use this product.
• The splint can be heat-moulded on either the right foot or the left foot.
- HEAT-MOULDING:
Follow the heat-moulding instructions supplied. The night corrective splint can
be heat-moulded several times. If you think it’s necessary, consult a podiatrist.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
• Slip the forefoot into the wide wrap.
• Then slip the big toe into the small sleeve.
• Make sure the white target is positioned over your bunion (see diagram on the
heat-moulding instructions supplied).
- USE CONDITIONS:
• It is recommended that the splint only be worn for 2 hours the first 3 times it
is used.
• After this, you should wear the splint all night.
Joint pain can sometimes occur the first few times the splint is used. If this persists
beyond 7 nights, consult your podiatrist.
• After wearing the splint for a month, and in the absence of pain,
the splint may be heat-moulded a second time to increase the
correction (see heat-moulding instructions supplied). In this
case, the level of correction desired will be obtained without
the separator, by pulling the big toe sideways (see diagram
opposite).
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
• Machine wash at 30°C in the washing net provided or hand wash (without
rubbing).
• Leave to dry naturally. Do not iron. Do not expose to heat (>50°C).
COMPOSITION: 52% heat-mouldable plastic, 28% polyamide/elastane fabric,
20% silicone.
The materials used have passed all the regulatory tests required by ISO standard 10993-1 relating to
products that come into contact with the skin. If an incident occurs, stop using the product imme-
diately and inform MILLET Innovation.

STARRE KORREKTURBANDAGE
INDIKATIONEN
Das tägliche Tragen der starren Korrekturbandage EPITACT® unterstützt die
Korrektur der Deformierung des Ballenzehs “Hallux valgus“. Sie trägt zur Minderung
der nächtlichen Gelenkschmerzen bei und befreit von Kontaktschmerzen.
KONTRAINDIKATIONEN
• Seitlich unbeweglicher großer Zeh.
• Das Produkt nicht tagsüber verwenden.
• Nicht über einer Hautverletzung tragen.
• Personen mit Arteriitis, Diabetes, Polyneuritis, Neuropathie der unteren
Extremitäten oder Geschwüren sollten dieses Produkt nicht verwenden.
VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
• Überprüfen Sie vorab, dass sich der große Zeh noch seitlich bewegen lässt.
Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, die Schiene bitte nicht verwenden.
• Die Korrekturbandage kann sowohl am rechten als auch am linken Fuß
getragen werden.
- THERMOFORM-VORGANG:
Bitte die mitgelieferte Thermoform-Anleitung befolgen. Die starre Korrektur-
bandage ist mehrmals thermoformierbar. Falls erforderlich wenden Sie sich bitte
an einen Podologen.
- ANLEGEN:
• Den Vorderfuß in das Band einführen.
• Dann die kleine Manschette rund um den Zehen ziehen.
• Überprüfen, dass die weiße Marke auf Höhe Ihres “Ballens“ positioniert ist (siehe
Schema in der mitgelieferten Thermoform-Anleitung).
- VERWENDUNGSBEDINGUNGEN:
• Bei den ersten 3 Anwendungen sollte die Korrekturschiene nicht länger als 2
Stunden getragen werden.
• Bei den folgenden Anwendungen die Korrekturbandage die ganz Nacht über
tragen.
Bei den ersten Anwendungen können Gelenkschmerzen auftreten. Wenn diese
Schmerzen länger als 7 Nächte andauern, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren
Podologen.
• Sofern nach einem Monat Tragen keine Schmerzen aufgetreten
sind kann ein 2. Termoformierungs-Vorgang durchgeführt
werden, um die Korrektur zu verstärken (siehe mitgelieferte
Thermoform-Anleitung). Die gewünschte Korrektur erfolgt dann
ohne Spreizer durch seitliches Ziehen am großen Zehen (siehe
Schema rechts).
PFLEGE
• In der Waschmaschine bei 30°C im mitgelieferten Waschnetz oder von Hand
waschen (ohne Schrubben).
• An der Luft trocknen lassen. Nicht bügeln. Keinen hohen Temperaturen
aussetzen (>50°C).
ZUSAMMENSETZUNG: 52% thermoformbarer Kunststoff, 28 % Polyamid/Elasthan,
20 % Silikon.
Die Materialien wurden allen vorgeschriebenen Tests der ISO 10993-1 Norm, welche Produkte
mit direktem Hautkontakt betreffen, unterzogen. Sollte eine Hautreaktion auftreten, sollten Sie die
Anwendung sofort unterbrechen und die Firma MILLET Innovation benachrichtigen.
Im Fall unsachgemäßer Anwendung und Nichtbeachtung der Herstellerhinweise kann MILLET

INDICAZIONI
Indossare quotidianamente l’ortesi correttiva notte EPITACT® aiuta a correggere
la deformazione dell’alluce valgo. Contribuisce a dare sollievo ai dolori articolari
notturni ed elimina i dolori da contatto.
CONTROINDICAZIONI
• Alluce non mobile lateralmente.
• Non utilizzare il prodotto durante il giorno.
• Non utilizzare su una lesione cutanea.
• Non utilizzare in caso di diabete, arterite, polinevrite, neuropatia degli arti
inferiori o ulcere.
MISURE PRECAUZIONALI
• Innanzitutto, verificare che l’alluce riesca ancora a muoversi lateralmente
quando lo si manipola. Altrimenti, non utilizzare questo dispositivo.
• L’ortesi può essere termoformata indifferentemente sul piede destro o
sinistro.
- TERMOFORMATURA:
Attenersi alle istruzioni di termoformatura fornite. L’ortesi correttiva notte può
essere termoformata più volte. In caso di necessità, consultare un podologo.
- POSIZIONAMENTO:
• Infilare l’avampiede nel cinturino grande.
• Infilare quindi l’alluce nel piccolo manicotto.
• Assicurarsi che il bersaglio bianco sia situato a livello della “cipolla” (vedere lo
schema nelle istruzioni di termoformatura fornite).
- CONSIGLI DI UTILIZZO:
• Durante le prime 3 applicazioni, si consiglia di indossare l’ortesi solo per 2 ore.
• Durante gli usi successivi indossare l’ortesi tutta la notte.
Durante i primi usi è possibile avvertire dolori articolari. Se questi persistono per
più di 7 notti, rivolgersi al proprio medico.
• Dopo aver usato l’ortesi per un mese e in assenza di dolori,
sarà possibile provvedere a una seconda termoformatura per
aumentare la correzione (vedere le istruzioni di termoformatura
fornite). La correzione desiderata sarà quindi ottenuta senza
divaricatore, ma tirando lateralmente l’alluce (vedere lo schema
a fianco).
MANUTENZIONE
• Lavare in lavatrice a 30°C nella reticella fornita o a mano (senza strofinare).
• Lasciare asciugare naturalmente. Non stirare. Non esporre al calore (>50 °C).
COMPOSIZIONE: 52% plastica termoformabile, 28 % poliammide/elastan,
20 % silicone.
