Examineaspontasdeprovacontrarachadurasoudefeitosna
isolação. Caso alguma condição anormal seja detectada, não
efetuar nenhum tipo de medida.
1.Conecteaspontasdeprovajacarécoloridasnosterminaisda
fontetrifásicaondeamáquinaelétricarotativa,talcomoummo-
tor,seráconectado.Aordemdaconexãodaspontaséopcional.
2.Pressioneobotão“pushbutton”localizadonapartesuperiordo
instrumento.Mantenha-opressionadoduranteavericaçãoda
sequênciadefase.Quandoobotãoéliberado,oinstrumento
imediatamente é desligado.
3.Assegure-sequetodasaslâmpadasparavericaçãodefase
abertaestejamacesas.Casosimasfasesnãoestãoabertas.
Quando alguma das 3 lâmpadas não acenderem teremos
faseaberta.
• Caso a lâmpada “R” de vericação de fase não acender: o
terminal onde a garra jacaré vermelha está conectada está
comafaseaberta.
•Caso a lâmpada “S” de vericação de fase não acender: o
terminalondeagarrajacarébrancaestáconectadaestácom
afaseaberta.
•Caso a lâmpada “T” de vericação de fase não acender: o
terminalondeagarrajacarépretaestáconectadaestácom
afaseaberta.
4.Quandoumadaslâmpadasdevericaçãodefasenãoacender,
odisconãorodará.
5.Veriquearotaçãododiscointernoatravésdajanelaindicadora
desequênciadefase.
6.Quandoodiscogirarnosentidoanti-horário,altereaconexão
deduasdastrêsgarrasjacarés.
Quandoodiscogirarnosentidohorário,asequênciadefase
R,SeTdafontetrifásicaéexatamenteasfasesligadasaos
terminaisondeasgarrasjacarésvermelha,brancaepretaestão
conectadas,respectivamente.

Checkthetestleadsagainstcracksordefectsintheinsulation.In
thecaseofanyabnormalconditionisdetected,donottakeany
type of measurement
1.Connectthetestleadswithcoloredalligatorclipsinthetermi-
nalsofthethreephasepowersupplywheretherotaryelectrical
machine,asamotor,willbeconnected.Thesequenceoftest
leadsconnectionisoptional.
2.Pressthe“pushbutton”keylocalizedinthesuperiorpartof
theinstrument.Keepit pressed during thephasesequence
verication.When thekeyisreleased,theinstrumentisim-
mediatelyswitchedoff.
3.Makesuretocheckallthelampsarelitopenphase,whenthe
three-phasepowersupplyisfed.Inthiscasewehavenoopen
phase.IfwehaveanyoftheLEDoff,we’llhaveopenphase.
• Ifthelamp“R”phasedoesnotlight:theterminalwherethered
alligatorclawisconnectediswiththephaseopen.
•Ifthelamp“S”phasedoesnotlight:theterminalwheretheyellow
alligatorclawisconnectediswiththephaseopen.
•Ifthelamp“T”phasedoesnotlight:theterminalwheretheblue
