WHY DO WE USE GLASS CONTAINERS FOR
THE GEL AND SERUM?
Many studies show that polycarbonate plastic, a type of plastic used
in many household and food products, gradually releases a chemical
called bisphenol-A (BPA) into foods and liquids that are stored in con-
tainers made from this material. According to healthnews.org, the
chemical compounds released by these plastics can alter hormones
and have other potential human health effects. By using glass, con-
tainers, we try to minimize your health issues.
SAFETY INFORMATION – WARNINGS
Mira-Skin is an electronic ultrasound device. When using an electronic
product, basic safety precautions should always be followed, includ-
ing but not limited to:
• Use this product only for its intended use as described in this Manual.
• If at any time you experience any irritation (rash or a sunburn-like
sensation), discontinue use of the device immediately.
• Mira-Skin Ultrasound is not intended for use by persons under the
age of 18. Keep out of the reach of children.
• To avoid eye injury, do not use or place the ultrasound device head
directly onto the eye or the upper eyelid. it is intended for use only
as shown on diagram on page 18.
• Do not immerse in water. If the product appears damaged or has
fallen into water, discontinue use.
• Never use or clean the Mira-Skin under running water – use moist
paper towels or moist cotton balls to clean it. Make sure the device
is OFF before cleaning.
• Do not hold the device under water – this could damage the elec-
tronics and/or cause an electric shock
• Always keep the device safely in your hand, don’t drop it as this may
cause irreversible damage
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE INFORMATION
The Mira-Skin device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is sub-
ject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful inter-
ference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
The Mira-Skin device complies with Part 18 of the FCC rules.
INTERFERENCE, CORRECTIVE MEASURES
The device generates radio-frequency energy. It may cause interference with
radio and television reception. If you think there is interference, turn off your
device or move it away from the radio or television.
WARRANTY INFORMATION AND DISPOSAL
Mira-Skin Ultrasound comes with a two-year warranty covering any manufactur-
ing defects. If you think the device is not functioning properly, please call cus-
tomer care at +1 781 975-3552 for assistance. The device itself does not re-
quire any routine maintenance.
Do not open the device as this may harm the electronics and void your warran-
ty. Consult a Mira-Skin employee in case of questions.
Your product is designed and manufactured with high quality materi-
als and components, which can be recycled and reused.
When this crossed-off wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product
it means that the product is covered by the European Directive
2002/96/EC. Please inform yourself about the local separate collec-
tion system for electrical and electronic products. Please act ac-
cording to your local rules and do not dispose of your old products
with your normal household waste. Correct disposal of your old
product helps to prevent potential negative consequences for the
environment and human health.
Your product contains batteries covered by the European Directive
2006/66/EC, which cannot be disposed with normal household
waste. Please inform yourself about the local rules on separate
collection of batteries because correct disposal helps to prevent
negateive consequences for the environmental and human health.
