Fower Ampliflers. lt incarporffte$ features that make it the
most useful and trersatile amplifler available tnday. The
B?3A has a built-in recelve preamp and variable SSB delay.
It will arnplify both FM and SSB *ignalr.
INSTALLATION:
The B23A rnay be mounted by using the bracket$ sup-
pilied. The B?3A must have adequate ventilatisn arnund the
heat sink. Use af No, 10 or larger wire tn csnnect the B?34
ts the battsry is recomnrended. Ule gaad quality 5S Ohm

equivalent shauld be used between the B23A and the
co-ax, betwefln the radia and the B?3A. nG-8U 0r thm

tenna. The antenna shauld be matched, to better thsn
1.5:1 far best perfsrrnancs. StfilFl lsss than 3:1 will degrade
systern perfsrmance. SWFI greater than 3:l rnay causs
darnage to the amplifier voiding any warranty.
Front Panel Functions:
POWEH-ON/OFF-ThIs switch turns the pswer anrpNi-
fisr SN and OFF.
SSBIFM *- Selects the relay time delay for the msde of
operfltlon. xn either the SSB or FM pasitio*, the flr?l-
ptifier is still biased frr linear opratisn.
pREAr$P-ONIOFF*Turns On{ snd oFF the recsiue
preamp. This works independent from the Power
ol\l/oFF swltch, when elther the Frearnp or Pq?uer
Amp is turned on the Amplifier autornaticnlly switch-
e$ the antenna using lts internal circuitry.
