1.Introduction
ThisdocumentistheusermanualfortheMitechIntegratedSystemsRFIDmodule–NFCMCU
ThismoduleisusedforMitechIntegratedSystemsproduct,whichisMachineCartUnit(MCU)
ThismodulereadsRFTAGandprovidethisreadingtoMCU
2.SystemOverview
ThismodulereadsdatafromtheuserRFIDcards.AndprovidesitsreadingtoMCU.TheMCUscanbe
installedindifferentcommercialplaces,whenRFIDcardsareused.Basedonthereceiveddatafromthe
NFCMCUmodule,theMCUwillactivateitscorrespondingoutputcontrol,whichisdependinginwhat
environmenttheMCUsareinstalled.
Themoduleisconformalcoated,whichpreventsanycorrosionofitscomponentsinmoisture
environment
ThemoduleisconnectedtotheMCUmainboardviadirectconnection,byusing7pinconnector

3.Installation
TheNFCMCUisinstalledfollowingthesesteps:
‐Obtainthemodulefromtheassembleline
‐Putthemoduleontopsideofthe7pinconnector,whichisalreadysolderedintoMCU
‐Solder7pinconnectorbyusing7solderingpadsofthemodule
AfterinstallingthemodulefollowthetestprocedureoftheMCUdevice
4.Operation
AfterinstallationofthemoduleontheMCUdeviceisfinished,theMCUdeviceisinstalledintoplastic
enclosure.ThensuchMCUstructureisinstalledoncommercialmachines.Itmaybedifferentpayment
systems,commerciallaundrymachinesandetc.TheMCUwillbeequippedwithspecialmounting
hardwaretobemountonspecificcommercialmachine.ThepowersupplysourceforMCUcancome
fromtwosources:individualstepdownseparatedpowersupply,likedesktoppoweradapterorlow
power(12V..24V)canbetakenfromthecommercialmachine,ifthemachinehasprovisionforsuch
connection.AfterinstallingMCUwithitsNFCMCUmodule,powercanbeswitchedONandNFCMCUis
readytoreadRFIDcardsandtransmitdatatoMCU.
5.ComplianceStatement
TheNFCMCUhasbeentestedtoFCC15.225,ICRSS‐210&FCC15B,ICES‐003(ClassB).Alsoitwastested
forClassBAC/DCpowerlineconductedemissionsandforClassBradiatedemission.
ThisdevicecomplieswithPart15oftheFCCrules.Operatingissubjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:
1.Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference
2.Thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesired
operationofthisdevice.
NOTE:ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,
pursuanttopart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainst
harmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradio

frequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmful
interferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccur
inaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevision
reception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotry
tocorrecttheinterferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:
‐Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
‐Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
‐Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuitdifferentfromthattowhichthereceiveris
connected.
‐Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.
Caution:Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythepartyresponsibleforcompliancecould
voidtheuser'sauthoritytooperatetheequipment.
Thisdevicecontaineda13.56MHzTransmitterandacertified2.4GZigbeeModule(FCCID
2AOE2REX3B,IC:22670‐REX3B).Thisequipmentcomplieswithradiofrequencyexposurelimitssetforth
byFCCforanuncontrolledenvironment.Thisequipmentmustbeinstalledandoperatedwitha
minimumdistanceof20cmbetweenthedeviceandtheuserorbystanders.Thisdevicemustnotbeco‐
locatedoroperatinginconjunctionwithanyotherantennaortransmitter.ThismoduleisFCCPart
15.225/ISEDRSS‐210limitedmodule.Themoduleislimitedtobeusedbythegranteeinitsown
products,notintendedforsaletothirdparties.Thehostdevicewiththisintegratedlimitmodular
approvalshallensuretheradiatedemissionsandspuriousemissioncomplywithFCCpart15.225.The
modulartransmitterisonlyFCCauthorizedforthespecificruleparts(i.e.,FCCtransmitterrules)listed
onthegrant,andthehostproductmanufacturerisresponsibleforcompliancetoanyotherFCCrules
thatapplytothehostnotcoveredbythemodulartransmittergrantofcertification.Whenthehostis
changed,additionaltestandcertificationmayberequired.ThefinalhostproductstillrequiresPart15
SubpartBcompliancetestingwiththemodulartransmitterinstalled.
HostProductLabelling
IftheFCCIDisnotvisiblewhenthemoduleisinstalledinsideanotherdevice,thentheoutsideofthe
deviceintowhichthemoduleisinstalledmustalsodisplayalabelreferringtotheenclosedmodule.
