DisplayKEY
BATTERY INFO
The DisplayKEY contains a non-replaceable, recharge-
able battery. The cradle has a power source that charges
the battery when the DisplayKEY is placed on the cradle
for an extended period of time (longer than a manual
eSYNC). The battery cannot be overcharged, so leaving
it on the cradle overnight or for several days is not a
problem. Each time you place your key on the cradle you
should see lights on the cradle. When charging your
DisplayKEY battery, be sure that the cradle light is a
steady green.
How Can I Tell if my Battery is Low?
The DisplayKEY has a feature called battery status.
When you scroll down and select the battery status
option, it displays the percentage of battery life remain-
ing in the DisplayKEY. The highest battery level that will
display is 99%.
CRADLE INFO
Green = key batteries are charging
Amber = key & cradle are communicating
Red = eSYNC is occurring; do not remove key
If your cradle flickers between green and amber instead
of maintaining a constant green light during battery
charging, you are actually running the batteries down
rather than charging them.
NOTE: Try resetting your cradle if you have problems.
This can be done by:
(1) unplugging the cradle’s power cord from the wall out-
let for approximately 10 seconds, or
(2) inserting one end of a paper clip into the reset open-
ing on the back of the cradle to press the reset switch
inside.
If the problem continues, call the MLS office or bring
your key and cradle in for testing.
SHACKLE RELEASE
•While waiting for the shackle to release, lift up on the
KeyBox from the bottom to eliminate any tension that
may be on the shackle.
KEY CONTAINER
• If the key container will not release, verify that:
(1) your DisplayKEY has been updated for the day.
(2) the correct 4 digit PIN code for the DisplayKEY
was used.
• To avoid possible jamming:
(1) attach listing keys to chain supplied.
(2) remove any tags/markers attached to key(s).
(3) do not place loose items in the key container.
(4) include only necessary keys.
NOTE: Knock any standing water off the KeyBox,
or wipe the KeyBox dry before inserting your DisplayKEY.
RECOMMENDATION: Additional copies of the listing
keys should always be available at the listing office.
