INITIAL OPERATING
INSTALLING THE SIM CARD
Warning: Before opening Mobee in order to insert the SIM
card, turn Mobee off and unplug the charger. Please note,
the SIM card can easily be damaged by scratches or bending.
Please be careful during installation of the SIM card.
• To turn Mobee off, press the End call key and hold for
about 4 seconds.
• Remove the back cover. The
 mark at the bottom of the
back cover indicates to lift the cover up for opening.
• Remove the battery.
• Insert the SIM card into the slot.
• Put back the battery. Make sure the battery is inserted
correctly.
• Close the back cover. A click sound indicates that the
back cover is closed properly.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Before using your Mobee, you need to fully charge the
battery. To charge the battery, connect the charger to your
phone and then connect the charger to the power socket.

A battery sign indicating that the Mobee is in charging
process will appear at the right corner of the screen.
After charging, when the battery is fully charged, full battery
sign will appear .
After charging, unplug the charger from the power socket
and then unplug the charger from the phone.
Please note: If the battery is completely empty, it may take
several minutes until you will see the charging sign or
before Mobee can be used.
BASIC OPERATIONS
TURN ON
To turn Mobee on press and hold the End call key .
If the SIM card is not installed properly, the warning «No
Sim Card» will appear on the screen. In this case, you will
need to turn off the phone by holding the End call key ,
put the SIM card and turn on your Mobee again.
After turning on Mobee it will start detecting network.
When the network symbol appears on the screen Mobee
can be used.
Please note: Mobee will not be able to receive or make
phone calls when the network signal strength is too low.
TURN OFF MOBEE
To turn Mobee off press and hold the End call key .
KEYPAD LOCK
Mobee keys are locked automatically after a period of time
which can be set, see explanation below.

To unlock the keypad, press the left selection key and then
immediately press the right selection key.
When the keypad is locked a key symbol appears on the
upper right side of the screen.
INCOMING CALL
When Mobee is receiving a call, it rings and vibrates
according to your ringtone settings (see further information
on ringtone settings). The calling phone number will appear
on the screen or if the phone number is stored in the SIM
card memory, the name will appear on the screen.
In order to answer a call, press the call key .
To reject the call, press the End call key .
To end the call, press the End call key .
CHANGING RING VOLUME DURING INCOMING CALL
In case of incoming call, when Mobee rings, you can increase
the ring volume by pressing the up navigation key or
decrease the ring volume by pressing the down navigation
key .
Note that if you lower the volume to the lowest level you
will not be able to hear the ring of incoming call at all.
CHANGING AUDIO VOLUME DURING PHONE CONVERSATION
During a call, you can increase or decrease the volume by
pressing the up navigation key to increase the audio
volume or by pressing the down navigation key to
decrease the audio volume.

DIALING
You can make a call in three ways:
1. Using one of the four speed dial keys ,
after it was predefined.
2. Dialing numbers stored in your SIM card memory.
3. Dialing a number from the list of incoming calls, outgoing
calls or missed calls.
1. SPEED DIALING USING THE FOUR SPEED DIAL KEYS
PROGRAMMING SPEED DIAL KEYS:
Programming the four speed dial keys is done by sending a
text message to the phone number of Mobee. You can send
the message from any other mobile phone.
The programming message to update the speed dial starts
with “*#”. It consists of three sequences of characters, as
detailed below, separated by * signs and ends with # sign:
*#1111* 0000*XXXXXXXXXX#
A. Symbol key you wish to program:
To program «Mother» key , write four times the
digit 1 (1111).
To program «father» key , write four times the digit
2 (2222).

B. 4-digit password. The initial password is 0000.
C. The number you want to store in the speed dial key.
For example, to program the «Mother» speed dial key
to dial number 042-1234567, when the password is 0000,
send the following message:
*#1111*0000*0421234567#
To program the «Father» speed dial key to dial number
042-1234567, when the password is 0000, send the
following message:
*#2222*0000*0421234567#
To program the «Home» speed dial key to dial number
03-1234568, when the password is 0000, send the following
message:
*#3333*0000*031234568#
To program the «Bee» speed dial key to dial number
042-1234567, when the password is 0000, send the
following message:
*#4444*0000*0421234567#

UPDATING THE PASSWORD (FOR SENDING MOBEE
PROGRAMMING TEXT MESSAGE UPDATES)
To update your password, send to Mobee from any other
phone, the following message sequence:
*#6666*AAAA*BBBB#
DIALING USING THE SPEED DIAL KEYS
To dial a number stored in speed key, unlock the keypad and
click on the appropriate speed dial key.
2. DIALING A NUMBER STORED ON THE SIM CARD MEMORY
To enter the SIM card memory, press the right selection key.
You can browse through the stored numbers by pressing
the upper and lower navigation keys. To call a
number, press the call key . Pressing the left selection
key enables dialing or showing the number on the screen.
Use any regular mobile phone to program the SIM card
memory.
3. DIALING A NUMBER FROM THE LIST OF INCOMING
CALLS, OUTGOING CALLS OR MISSED CALLS
To enter the call lists, press the left selection key, select
«Call lists», and choose one of the options: «Incoming»,
«Outgoing» or «Missed». You can scroll through the
numbers in the list by pressing the upper or lower

navigation key. To call the number that appears on the
screen press the call key .
SOS BUTTON
The SOS button enables immediate contact with the parent.
By pressing the button for 2 seconds, Mobee will ask “Send
SOS?”
After clicking the left selection key mobee will send the
“Help” message to each of the stored speed dial numbers.
Then mobee will dial the phone number stored under the
«mother» key . If there is no answer, Mobee will continue
to call the other speed dial contacts in the following order:
«Father» , «Home» and «Bee» .
MONITOR
The monitor feature allows the parent to hear the child’s
surroundings at any moment. To activate the monitor send
Mobee from any other phone, the following text message:
*#5555*AAAA*XXXXXXXXXX#
When Mobee will receive the message it will call
automatically to the phone number you typed in the
message and will allow you to hear the child’s surroundings.

PROTECTION AGAINST THEFT
Mobee has a unique protection against theft. When a
new SIM card is inserted and when the phone is activated
with the new SIM card, Mobee will automatically send the
following message to all four speed dial numbers:
“SOMEONE IS USING YOUR PHONE!”
MENU
Click on the left selection key to open the phone menu. The
menu includes the following functions:
- Messages
- Call Lists
- Settings
- Alarm
(See further details on those matters below)
MESSAGES
Note! Mobee can receive text messages, but it can only
send the automatic SOS message, sent automatically when
pressing the SOS button .
When Mobee receives a new text message, you will hear
the message tone and a message alert will be displayed on
the screen.
When you enter your incoming messages the number of
messages still unread will be displayed on the screen.
As long as there are unread messages, an envelope icon
appears at the top of the screen.
When the inbox is full, an alert that the memory is full will

be displayed on the screen.
To enter your incoming messages, press the left selection
key to enter the menu, select the first option “Messages”
and click again on the left selection key. At this time, the
screen will show two options:
Inbox –by choosing this option, you can enter your mailbox
and navigate between messages by using the upper and
lower navigation keys.
To view the message, press the left selection key. After
entering the message, when you click on the left selection
key, “Delete?” question will be displayed.
Clicking the left selection key will delete the message.
Delete all - Selecting this option will delete all messages
from the incoming messages box.
Note: The open envelope icon or closed envelope
indicates whether message has been read or not.
CALL LISTS
This function allows you to view the incoming, outgoing
and missed calls data.
If the contact is stored on the SIM card the name will appear,
if not, only the number will appear on the list.
To choose one of the call lists use the lower navigation
key and choose which list to enter by pressing the
left selection key. Scroll through the call list using the
navigation keys and choose a call to see its data by pressing
the left selection key.
When a call data appears on the screen, you will be able to

call the number or delete the data.
Choosing «Delete all» option in the call list menu will erase
all call lists.
Selecting Call duration will show the total duration of all
outgoing calls, the total duration of all incoming calls, and
the duration of the last call performed.
When call data appears on the screen, pressing the left
selection key will delete this call from the list.
SETTINGS
The settings menu allows you to configure the following:
TIME AND DATE SETTINGS
when you enter this option, you will be asked to set the
current time using the navigation keys. Use the upper
and lower navigation keys to change the clock digits.
Use the side navigation keys right and left to change
the other digits.
After updating the current time, press the left selection key
and set the date in the same way. After you adjusted the
current time and date, press the left selection key again to
store the data.
KEYPAD LOCK
Selecting this option allows you to set the length of time
that passes from pressing any key until the keypad locks.
LIMIT CALL DURATION
Mobee allows you to set a maximum call duration of one

minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, or
unlimited call duration.
Any call (incoming or outgoing call) will automatically
disconnect after this period of time.
AUTOMATIC POWER ON/ POWER OFF
Mobee allows you to set automatic time for turn on and
turn off.
This feature can be useful, for example, for school time
so that Mobee will be turned off during school time and
available during the day and after school.
To activate the automatic power on, enter the «Auto power
on», set the time to power on using the navigation keys and
change the mode to <<activated>>.
To activate the automatic power off enter the «Auto power
off», set the time to power on using the navigation keys and
change the mode to <<activated>>.
TONE SETTINGS
This option allows you to set the ringtone style, the message
alert tone, the ring volume, the keypad volume or to change
to quiet mode.
RINGTONE SETTINGS
This option allows you to select one of the nine ringtones
available on Mobee. Use the upper and lower
navigation keys to scroll through the ringtone options and
select the ring style by pressing the left selection key.

MESSAGE TONE
This option allows you to select one of the tone styles for
the incoming message alert. Use the upper and lower
navigation keys to scroll through the optional Massage
tones and select the preferred tone by pressing the left
selection key.
RING TONE VOLUME
This option allows you to select the ring volume of Mobee.
Use the upper and lower navigation keys to increase
and decrease the volume of the ring.
You can also change the volume by using the upper and
lower navigation keys when the phone rings during
incoming call.
KEYPAD VOLUME
This option allows you to select the volume of the sound
you hear when you press any key. Use the upper and
lower navigation keys to increase and decrease the
volume.
SILENT MODE
Selecting the silent mode option will activate the silent
profile. In this profile the phone will not ring on incoming
calls and alert tone will not sound when text message
enters. The phone will only vibrate on incoming call or text
message.
By clicking the silent mode again you will turn the silent
mode off.
When silent mode is active symbol will show on the
screen.

LANGUAGE
This option allows you to select the menu language:
English, Hebrew or Russian.
RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS
Select Restore factory settings reset your Mobee and bring
It to the same condition it was when purchased. All settings,
memory and numbers stored in memory will be reset.
To reset the settings and restore the factory settings, you
will have to enter the following password: down ,
down , down , down .
After pressing this password, click on the left selection key
and confirm by clicking the left selection key again.
VERSION INFORMATION
Selecting this option displays the version information of
hardware and software of the device.
ALARM CLOCK
You can define up to three different times for clock ring alarm.
When you select «alarm» the alarm menu will open where
you can set the three alarm clocks. These are three different
times you can set up for alarm.
The default mode of the alarm is turned off. When you turn
to active mode, you will be asked to set the time of for the
alarm.
When alarm is active, symbol will be displayed on the screen.
Please note: When the alarm is active, Mobee will ring even
if the device is turned off.
To cancel the alarm, enter the settings and change the
alarm mode to off.
