4. Getting started with your MobiFren
• Charging your MobiFren GBH-S500
(1) Charging your MobiFren GBH-S500
Make sure that your MobiFren GBH-S500 is fully charged before you use it.
* The LED shows ‘RED’ during charging and will turn ‘BLUE’ when fully charged.
※While using USB hub, charging may not work well, due to low current.
(2) Pairing your MobiFren GBH-S500 with mobile phone
* Before you use your Mobifren GBH-S500, you need to pair it with your mobile
phone or Bluetooth enabled devices. Please pair the headset
with the following 2 pairing modes.
1. Smart pairing
Wait ! Make sure to set < Smart pairing mode > before pairing.
At power o, press MFB button for 6 seconds to enter into < Smart pairing mode >,
then, you can hear ( smart paring ~ ). The blue and red LED glitters alternately and the
headset becomes < Smart pairing mode >.
How to do.
Way①Pairing headset to your mobile phone automatically
- Activate Bluetooth in your mobile setting.
- Like as the below image, click the box to allow searching my device.
Then, the pairing will be completed within seconds.
※It may be dierent, depending on mobile phones.
< Smart pairing? >
It’s easy pairing way for the users. If you locate the device (mobile phone)
to the headset within 10cm, then, it pairs automatically.
※ Some mobile phones may not support to this feature.

(1) At manual pairing mode, please activate Bluetooth function in your mobile phone,
according to phone manual and search the headset.
(2) Select " GBH-S500" from the searched device. Then, it shows " Pairing"
( Some mobile phone needs pass key (PIN), then enter 0000. )
(3) If pairing is successful, it shows that "Connected to Phone and Media Audio" and
blue LED glitters 5 times. Now, it's ready to use.

Way②Automatic pairing by Android App.
- Please download and install < MobiFren_S5 > application at Google Play
Store if your mobile phone is Android smart phone. It will guide you to pair
GBH-S500 to your mobile easily. Please go into <1. Smart Pairing > menu of
the application.
2. Manual pairing
Wait ! Please make sure to set < Manual pairing mode > before pairing.
At the status of < Smart pairing mode>, please MFB button for 1 second to enter into
manual pairing mode. Then, you can hear (Pairing mode~). The blue LED is continuously
on and the headset becomes < Manual pairing mode >.
※Pairing process may be dierent from mobile phone makers. Please refer to mobile phone's manual.
