SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
-Read the safety instructions / precautions carefully before using the unit.
-The purpose of the safety instruction/ precautions in this manual book is to ensure safe and
correct use of the unit to minimize risk that could cause serious damage and injury to you or other
persons. The safety instruction/ precautions are divided into WARNING and CAUTION. Cases
where improper handling of the unit could lead to death or serious injury are listed under the
WARNING heading. However, The cases listed under the CAUTION heading could also
lead to serious result. To ensure the safety, adhere strictly to both types of safety precautions.

PRECAUTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
WARNING
Installation should be performed only by the dealer or a qualified expert. Attempting to install
the unit yourself could result in water leakeage, refrigerant leakage,electrical shock, or fire.
Install the Showcase Cooler on even
and sturdy surface. Uneven surface
may cause objects in it to fall.
Provide adequate space for air circulation
between the Showcase Cooler and the
wall to minimize the operational costs and
to maximize the compressor’s age.
Do not put the Showcase Cooler near
the heat source such as stove, hot
plates etc. And avoid placing unit
under direct sunlight which may hamper with
the cooling process.
Do not use the unit in an open location,
keep it away from sunlight and exposed
to rain water. Using Showcase Cooler
which has been exposed to rainwater will result in
electricity leakage.
Make sure the voltage is set to 220
volt and the frequency to 50 Hz. Do
not use cord extension or branched
outlet since it poses risks of shortage,
overheating and fire.
If the unit must be installed in a humid
environment, make sure to install a
circuit breaker to avoid shortage.

BEFORE USE
- Open the carton box, tape,etc, and leave doors open ventilate for a while.
- The unit is cleaned before shipment. However, cleaning the inside of the unit after delivery is
highly recommended.
- Please insert power supply plug into the wall outlet, the unit uses a single-phase.
- Leave the unit operational for around 1 hour to cool the inner chamber before putting objects
inside it.
WAIT 5 MINUTES OR MORE BEFORE RESTARTING
Restarting the unit immediately after it has been turned off may cause fuses to blow and activate the
circuit breaker, the compressor may be overload , and / or other damage may occur.
HOW TO USE CONTROL PANEL
1. Temperature settings
a. Press button until it flashes and display the set temperature. Press or to modify
and store the displayed value. Press button to exit the adjustment and display the cold
room temperature
b. If no more buttons are pressed within 6 seconds, the cold room temperature will be displayed
(Set temperature adjustment range: parameter E1-E2)
2. Power On/Off: Press and hold it for 3 seconds to turn off the product. Press for 1 second,
the measured temperature will be displayed, the refrigeration will start after the delay time
3. Refrigeration LED: During the cooling process, the LED will turn on. When the cold room
temperature is achieved, the LED will turn off. During the delay process, the LED will flash
4. Light: Press to turn on the light and press it again to turn it off
5. Defrost LED: During defrosting, the defrost LED will turn on, and will turn off automatically once
the defrosting process is finished
6. Parameter Settings
a. Press and hold for 6 seconds to enter the parameter setup mode while E1 flashes
b. Press again to select sequentially from the parameters: E2, E3, E4, E5, F1, F2~H2
c. Press or , the parameter value will be displayed and can be modified and stored
d. If no more buttons are pressed within 6 seconds, it will return to normal operating mode
7. Parameters Lock
Press for 6 seconds to lock the parameter if LOC is displayed, or to unlock if OP is displayed.
Parameters can be displayed only and cannot be modified if locked, but the adjustment of the set
temperature is still active (The factory default is OP)

8. Factory Reset: Press and simultaneously for 6 seconds, 888 will appear and flash on the
display. All parameter will be revert back to factory default
9. Revise Factory Default Settings: Press to adjust the set temperature. Long press for 6
seconds to enter parameter settings and adjust temperature, long press for 6 seconds, COP
will be displayed, the modified and stored set temperature are now factory settings
DRAIN TRAY
Defrosting is done automatically and disposal of water collected in the drain tray.
The water in the drain tray evaporates automatically. In certain humidity level, a large amount of water
may be accommodated in the tray disposal, so it is not completely evaporate, so it needs to be
checked and drained once each day.
EFICIENT USE
Please follow the instructions below, to save energy. To prevent cold air out, open and close the door
unit as soon as possible. Install the unit in a well ventilated place.
SHELF HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Height of shelves can be adjusted. Arrange a rack in accordance with the size of the items to be
stored in the showcase.
PLACING ITEMS IN THE SHOWCASE
This showcase employs a forced circulation of cold air system . If the cold air circulation is blocked,
the goods will not be sufficiently cooled.
Consider the following:
Do not let the stuff blocking the inlet and outlet of cold air.
Arrange the placement of goods that do not exceed the size of the rack. The distance between the
shelves and the door is used for circulation of cold air.
Place the items evenly on all shelves.

Do not store items on the bottom. Put the stuff on the shelves.
PRECAUTION FOR INSTALLATION
WARNING
Do not damage, modify, excessively bend, strain, twist or bundle up the
power cord. Also, placing heavy objects the power cord or squeezing it in
a tight place could damage it, possible resulting in electrical shock or fire.
Never use flammable spray cans or leave flammable substances near the
unit. Sparks from electrical switches could result in explosion and fire.
The cooler is intended for strorage and display of beverages for sale. Do
not use for other purpose than intended as this could adversely affect
items placed in the unit.
Store the unit in a location where the floor it is not exposed to rain. Using
a unit that has been exposed to rain could result in electrical leakage and
electrical shock.
Leave disassembly and disposal of the unit to qualified experts.
Grasp the handle when closing the door. Holding at other positions could
result in pinched fingers and injury.
Make sure that the unit does tip over or fall when it is moved. A
falling unit could cause serious injury.
Maximum load that can be accommodated by each rack is 30 kg. Place
the item carefully, do not throw stuff on the shelf and do not place items
with a total weight of more than 30 kg on each shelf, because the rack
can fall, and potentially cause injury.
Make sure the rack has been installed correctly and firmly. Shelves are
improperly installed can fall and potentially cause injury.
If the unit will be stored temporarily, be sure to not store the unit in a location where children
play and do preventive measures so that the door can not be completely shut down the unit.
This will minimize the risk of a child trapped inside the unit.

To prevent any electrical shock hazards or injury by rotating circulation fan, always disconnect the
power cord plug from the wall outlet before cleaning.
EXTERIOR AND COOLER COMPARTEMENT
Clean the freezer using soft and dry cloth. If it’s very dirty, use cloth that is lightly soaked with
soap water and rinse using wet cloth. Then rinse with a cloth that has been dipped in water.
WARNING:Do not splash water directly onto the cooler and do not wash with water.
Shortcircuit and electrical shock could result.
Clean the cooler regularly to keep it clean at all times.
Do not use polishing powder, soap powder, gasoline,benzine, oil or hot water as this will
damage the paint and plastic components.
Do not pour water onto the unit or wash
with water to avoid shortage and electricity
leakage.
Do not attempt to insert a finger, stick etc
into the cold air outlet since the
circulation fan rotates at high speed and
will result in injury and damage to
the cooling fan.
Do not put heavy or watery objects on top
of the unit to avoid spill which may damage
the electrical components’
insulation.
Refrain from touching the unit during gas
leakage. Open the windows and doors to
vent out the gas. Gas leakage
may cause explosion and fire.
Do not hang onto the door nor climb
the unit. The unit could tip over or fall and
cause material damage or injuiry
Do not push hand against or apply
excessive force to glass surface as the
glass could be break
and cause injury.

Do not put flammable objects inside the
freezer / refrigerator.
At the time of repeal outlet, unplug on the
head and
do not pull the
cord because
the cable can be
easily damaged.
Disconnect the power plug from the wall
outlet before moving the unit and make
sure that the power cord is not damaged during
transport. A
damaged power
cord could result in
electrical shock and
/ or fire.
Do not attempt to self-repair damaged
unit. Contact MODENA Service Center
if repair is needed on the unit.
CHECKS
To ensure the safety, perform the following checks after cleaning.
-Is the power plug firmly inserted into a dedicated wall outlet? Confirm that the plug is not
abnormally hot.
-Make sure the power cord on good condition, not damaged or defective. Should the slightest
Irregularity be obserevd, contact the dealer from whom you purchased this unit or our Service
Center, if there is damage or non-compliance.
IN CASE OF THE FOOLOWING:
1. DURING POWER OUT
-Keep opening and closing of the door to a minimum. Avoid placing new items in the cooler as this
will raise the temperature inside the compartment.
-Unplug the power cord.
-Replug the power cord around 10-15 minutes after the electricity current becomes stable again.
2. IF NOT USED FOR A LONG TIME
-Remove all items from the compartment and Unplug the power cord from the oultet. Clean the
inside of the compartment and wipe away all water. Leave the door open to dry out the
compartment to prevent fungi and unpleasant odor.
3. MOVING OUT
-Unplug the power cord.
-When mooving the unit, make sure the legs of the refrigerator do not damage the power cord.
-Make sure the feet do not touch the floor unit at the time of moving.
-Make sure the refrigerator does not hit the stairs, doorways, etc.

4. TEMPORARY STORAGE
-Place a buffer, a piece of wood, or other materials in between the door and the main unit to
prevent the unit door closed.
-Make sure not to store the unused cooler at a location where children play. Should a child enter
the compartment and the door is closed, the child may not be able to open the door from the
inside.
Check the following before contacting our Service Center in the event of dysfunction. If the problem
continues after taking the proper remedial action, disconnect the power cord plug from the wall outlet.
Transfer the items stored in the cooler to a box or other container . Then contact the dealer from
whom you purchased this unit or our Service Center,and be ready to provide information as listed in
“REQUIRED INFORMATION” below.
CAUTION: To prevent any electrical shocl hazards, do not disconnect the power cord plug
from the wall outlet with wet hands.
Unit is not working
-Is the power cord unplugged?
-Is there a problem with the power source / fusebox?
-Is the circuit breaker activated?
Unit is not cold
-Is the temperature properly regulated?
-Is the air circulation inside the unit obstructed?
-Is there too much food being stored inside the unit?
-Is the unit door opened too frequently?
-Is the condenser obstructed?
-Is the unit installed in a hot environment?
Food is Frozen
-Is the thermostat set to very cold?
-Is the food / drink stored near the air outlet?
Noise
-Is the freezer put on even surface?
-Is the back of the freezer against the wall?
-Is the cooler put against other objects?
Condensation on the
outer surface of the
freezer:
-Dew may form on the outer surface of the freezer when the ambient
air is too hot / humid. Condensation occurs during high humidity and
when the water particles in the air come into contact with cold
surface. This is perfectly normal. Simply wipe the surface using dry
cloth.
