Install the showcase cooler on even and
sturdy surface. Uneven surface may cause
objects in it to fall.
Provide adequate space for air circulation
between the showcase cooler and the wall to
minimize the operational costs and to maximize
the compressor’s age.
Do not put the showcase cooler near the heat
source such as stove, hot plates etc. and
avoid placing unit under direct sunlight which
may hamper with the cooling process.
Do not expose the showcase cooler to rain
water. Using showcase cooler which has been
exposed to rainwater will result in electricity
leakage.
Make sure the voltage is set to 220 volt and
the frequency to 50 Hz. Do not use cord
extension or branched outlet since it poses
risks of shortage, overheating and fire.
If the unit must be installed in a humid
environment, make sure to install a circuit
breaker to avoid shortage.
Part 2 : Installation

PREPARATION BEFORE USE
-Open the carton box, lift and put the unit on an even surface.
-Clean the inside of the unit.
-Open the door for some time for ventilation purpose, close it and plug the power cord to the
outlet to start the unit.
-Leave the unit operational for around 1 hour to cool the inner chamber before putting objects
inside it.
REGULATING TEMPERATURE
-For fruits and drinks, adjust the thermostat between MIN and 3. For
milk and cookies, adjust thermostat between 3 and 4.
-If the ambient temperature is too high and there are too many food
items or the door is opened frequently, thermostat should be set to
a lower temperature or MAX.
PLACEMENT OF OBJECTS
-Always make sure that the stored objects do not obstruct
the air circulation since it will create difference in temperature
between the top and the bottom of the cabinet.
-Do not store a total of more than 30 kg of goods on each shelf.
SHELF ARRANGEMENT
-Shelf height can be regulated based on the size of goods stored
inside the showcase cooler .
-Make sure you install the shelf correctly. Incorrect installation may
result in objects falling inside the unit.
DEFROSTING PROCESS
-The defrosting process is performed automatically and the water residue will be collected
inside
the water reservoir.
-Water in the water reservoir will evaporate automatically. When the humidity level is right,
there
will be a large amount of water in the reservoir and therefore dispose of the water every day.

-Clean the freezer using soft and dry cloth. If it’s very dirty, use cloth that is lightly soaked with
soap water and rinse using wet cloth.
-Clean the freezer on a regular basis.
-Do not use shining powder, detergent, gasoline, acid, thinner, oil or hot water to clean the
inside of the unit.
Do not pour water onto the unit or wash with
water to avoid shortage and electricity leakage.
Do not attempt to insert a finger, stick etc. into
the cold air outlet since the circulation fan
rotates at high speed and will result in injury and
damage to the cooling fan.
Do not put heavy or watery objects on top of the
unit to avoid spill which may damage the
electrical components’ insulation.
Refrain from touching the unit during gas
leakage. Open the windows and doors to vent
out the gas. Gas leakage may cause explosion
and fire.
Do not hang on to the door nor climb the unit.
Do not exert pressure on the glass surface.

Do not put flammable objects inside the freezer/
refrigerator.
Always unplug the power cord before cleaning
the freezer.
At the time of repeal outlet, unplug on the head
and do not pull the cord because the cable can
be easily damaged.
Do not attempt to self-repair damaged unit.
Contact MODENA Service Center if repair is
needed on the unit.
DURING POWER OUT
-Unplug the power cord.
-Replug the power cord around 10-15 minutes after the electricity current becomes stable again.
IF NOT USED FOR A LONG TIME
-Unplug the power cord.
-Remove all objects out of the compartment.
-Clean the inside of the compartment.
-Leave the door open to dry out the compartment to prevent fungi and unpleasant odor.
MOVING OUT
-Unplug the power cord.
-Make sure the legs of the refrigerator do not damage the power cord.
-Make sure the refrigerator does not hit the stairs, doorways, etc.

Check the following before contacting our Service Center in the event of dysfunction:
Unit is not working
-Is the power cord unplugged?
-Is there a problem with the power source / fusebox?
-Is the circuit breaker activated?
Unit is not cold
-Is the temperature properly regulated?
-Is the air circulation inside the unit obstructed
-Is there too much food being stored inside the unit?
-Is the unit door opened too frequently?
-Is the condenser obstructed?
-Is the unit installed in a hot environment?
Food is Frozen
-Is the thermostat set to very cold?
-Is the food / drink stored near the air outlet?
Noise
-Is the freezer put on even surface?
-Is the back of the freezer against the wall?
-Is the cooler put against other objects?
Condensation on the
outer surface of the
freezer:
-Dew may form on the outer surface of the freezer when the ambient air is
too hot / humid. Condensation occurs during high humidity and when the
water particles in the air come into contact with cold surface. This is
perfectly normal. Simply wipe the surface using dry cloth.
