SAFETY PROCEDURES
Select mounting location, ideally
wood framework
(in attic) or outside
(roofI siding).
A Position the mounting bracket
(flat surface towood) to create
an "I" shapewhen viewed from
straight on.
B Secure the mounting bracket by
using the four large outdoor
screws.
Place the u-bolt underthe bottom
toothed plate, and secure the plate
with the four included screws and
washers to the antenna.
Sandwich the mounting tube
between the bottom and
top
toothed brackets and secure with
the included wingnuts.
Insertthe short end
of the mounting
tube into the mounting bracket.
Use the
two carriage bolts and
washers to secure the mounting
tube to the mounting bracket.

- Make sure there is another person present (on the ground) If you intend to mount the antenna on a rooftop, make sure to

A Connect one end of the 30 ft. Coaxial
Cable to the connector on the antenna
(see illustration below) and connect the
other end of the coaxial cable to the
power injector.

Excessive cable length may cause

Connect the coaxial cable from the power
injector to the ANT/IN connector on the
back of the TV.

The power injector must be powered in
order to function. Plug the power
injector’s USB cable into an open USB
port on the back of the TV.
If the TV does not have a USB port, use
the included USB power adapter with any
standard 120V wall outlet.

SCAN FOR CHANNELS
In the TV's setup menu, set the tuner mode to
"Antenna" or "Air". Refer to the TV manual for
detailed instructions.
In the TV's setup menu, set TV to "scan" for channels.
This can sometimes be listed
as auto-program,
auto-scan, channel search or channel scan.
Refer to the TV manual for detailed instructions.
