Amplificateur casque stéréo
Cette notice s’adresse aux utilisateurs sans connais-
sances techniques particulières. Veuillez lire la no-
tice avant le fonctionnement et conservez-la pour
pouvoir, si besoin, vous y reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Avec le PPA-4, le signal de sortie Ligne d’un appareil
audio (par exemple lecteur CD) peut être amplifié pour
une restitution stéréo via quatre casques au plus.
2 Conseils d’utilisation et de sécurité
Les appareils (amplificateur casque et bloc secteur) ré-
pondent à toutes les directives nécessaires de l’Union
européenne et portent donc le symbole .
ATTENTION ! Le bloc secteur est alimenté par une ten-
sion dangereuse. Ne touchez jamais l’intérieur de l’appa-
reil, vous pourriez subir une décharge électrique.
•
Les appareils ne sont conçus que pour une utilisation
en intérieur. Protégez-les des projections d’eau et
éclaboussures, d’une humidité élevée et de la chaleur
(plage de température de fonctionnement autorisée
0–40°C).
•
Pour les nettoyer, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec
et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si les appareils
sont utilisés dans un but autre que celui pour lequel ils
ont été conçus, s’ils ne sont pas correctement branchés
ou utilisés ou s’ils ne sont pas réparés par une personne
habilitée ; en outre, la garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque les appareils sont définitivement retirés
du service, vous devez les déposer dans une usine
de recyclage de proximité pour contribuer à leur
élimination non polluante.
3 Fonctionnement
1) Reliez la sortie Ligne de l’appareil audio (par exemple
lecteur CD, magnétophone, table de mixage) à la prise
jack 6,35 MAIN INPUT (3).
2) Reliez les casques aux prises jack 6,35 OUTPUT (4).
ATTENTION ! Ne reliez que des casques dotés d’une
fiche jack stéréo. Si vous utilisez des fiches mono,
l’amplificateur sera endommagé.
3) Mettez la fiche basse tension du bloc secteur dans la
prise «12V⎓»(5) et reliez le bloc secteur à une prise
secteur 230V/50Hz. L’amplificateur est en fonction, la
LED ON (1), témoin de fonctionnement brille.
4) Avec les réglages CH.. (2), réglez séparément le
volume pour chaque casque.
ATTENTION ! Ne réglez jamais le volume trop fort. Des
volumes extrêmement élevés peuvent endommager, à
la longue, l’ouïe. L’oreille humaine s’habitue à des vo-
lumes élevés et, après un certain temps, ne les perçoit
plus de la même manière. C’est pourquoi n’augmentez
pas le volume une fois que vous y êtes habitué.
5) Après le fonctionnement, débranchez le bloc secteur
de la prise secteur pour éviter toute consommation
inutile de courant.

Stereo Headphone Amplifier
These instructions are intended for users without
any specific technical knowledge. Please read the
instructions carefully prior to operation and keep
them for later reference.
1 Applications
The PPA-4 allows to amplify the line output signal of an
audio unit (e.g. CD player) for the stereo reproduction via
up to four headphones.
2 Safety Notes
The units (headphone amplifier and power supply unit)
correspond to all relevant directives of the EU and are
therefore marked with .
ATTENTION! The power supply unit uses dangerous
mains voltage. Leave servicing to skilled personnel only.
Inexpert handling may result in electric shock.
•
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0–40°C).
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use chem-
icals or water.
•
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for any
resulting personal damage or material damage will be
accepted if the units are used for other purposes than
originally intended, if they are not correctly connected
or operated, or if they are not repaired in an expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation defin-
itively, take them to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environment.
3 Setting into Operation
1) Connect the line output of the audio unit (e.g. CD
player, tape deck, mixer) to the 6.3mm jack MAIN
INPUT (3).
2) Connect the headphones to the 6.3mm jacks OUT-
PUT(4).
CAUTION! Only connect headphones with a stereo
plug. If mono plugs are used, the amplifier will be
damaged.
3) Connect the low voltage plug of the power supply unit
to the jack “12V⎓” (5) and the power supply unit to
a mains socket (230V/50Hz). The amplifier is in oper-
ation and the power LED ON (1) lights up.
4) Use the controls CH.. (2) to adjust the volume sepa-
rately for the individual headphones.
CAUTION! Never adjust a very high headphone vol-
ume. Permanent high volumes may damage your
hearing! Your ear will get accustomed to high vol-
umes which do not seem to be that high any more
after some time. Therefore, do not further increase
a high volume which has once been adjusted after
getting used to it.
5) After operation, disconnect the power supply unit
from the mains socket so that no current is unneces-
sarily consumed.

Stereo-Kopfhörerverstärker
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Benutzer ohne be-
sondere Fachkenntnisse. Bitte lesen Sie die Anlei-
tung vor dem Betrieb gründlich durch und heben
Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Mit dem PPA-4 kann das Line-Ausgangssignal von einem
Audiogerät (z.B. CD-Spieler) für die Stereowiedergabe
über bis zu vier Kopfhörer verstärkt werden.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Geräte (Kopfhörerverstärker und Netzgerät) entspre-
chen allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und sind deshalb
mit gekennzeichnet.
ACHTUNG! Das Netzgerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher
Netzspannung versorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie selbst
Eingriffe in diesem Gerät vor. Durch unsachgemäßes Vor-
gehen besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.
•
Verwenden Sie die Geräte nur im Innenbereich. Schüt-
zen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuch-
tigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich
0–40°C).
•
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes, wei-
ches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
•
Werden die Geräte zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig
angeschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende
Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für die
Geräte übernommen werden.
Sollen die Geräte endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie sie zur um-
weltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recy-
clingbetrieb.
3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Den Line-Ausgang des Audiogerätes (z.B. CD-Spieler,
Tape-Deck, Mischpult) an die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchse
MAIN INPUT (3) anschließen.
2) Die Kopfhörer an die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchsen OUTPUT
(4) anschließen.
VORSICHT! Nur Kopfhörer mit einem Stereo-Klin-
kenstecker anschließen. Bei Verwendung von Mono-
Steckern wird der Verstärker beschädigt.
3) Den Kleinspannungsstecker des Netzgerätes in die
Buchse „12V⎓“ (5) stecken und das Netzgerät in eine
Steckdose (230V/50Hz). Der Verstärker ist in Betrieb
und die Betriebsanzeige ON (1) leuchtet.
4) Mit den Reglern CH.. (2) für jeden Kopfhörer die Laut-
stärke separat einstellen.
VORSICHT! Stellen Sie die Kopfhörerlautstärke nie
sehr hoch ein. Hohe Lautstärken können auf Dauer
das Gehör schädigen! Das Ohr gewöhnt sich an große
Lautstärken und empfindet sie nach einiger Zeit als
nicht mehr so hoch. Darum eine hohe Lautstärke nach
der Gewöhnung nicht weiter erhöhen.
5) Nach dem Betrieb das Netzgerät aus der Steckdose zie-
hen, damit kein Strom unnötig verbraucht wird.

Wzmacniacz słuchawkowy stereo
Niniejsza instrukcja przeznaczona jest dla użytkowni-
ków nie posiadających doświadczenia oraz wiedzy tech-
nicznej. Przed rozpoczęciem użytkowania prosimy o
zapoznanie się z instrukcją i zachowanie jej do wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
PPA-4 służy do wzmocnienia sygnału liniowego (np. z
odtwarzacza CD) i zasilenia nim do czterech słuchawek
stereofonicznych.
2 Środki ostrożności
Urządzenia (wzmacniacz słuchawkowy oraz zasilacz)
spełniają wszystkie wymogi norm UE i dlatego posiadają
oznaczenie certyfikatem .
UWAGA! Zasilacz jest zasilany niebezpiecznym dla życia
napięciem zmiennym 230V. Aby uniknąć porażenia elek-
trycznego nie wolno otwierać urządzenia. Jego naprawą
powinien zajmować się tylko przeszkolony personel.
•
Urządzenie jest przeznaczone tylko do użytku
we-wnątrz pomieszczeń. Należy chronić przed dosta-
niem się jakiejkolwiek cieczy do środka urządzenia,
dużą wilgotnością oraz ciepłem (temperatura otoczenia
powinna wynosić od 0–40°C).
•
Do czyszczenia należy używać tylko suchej, miękkiej
ściereczki. Nie wolno używać wody ani żadnych środ-
ków chemicznych.
•
Nie ponosi się odpowiedzialności za wynikłe uszkodze-
nia sprzętu lub obrażenia użytkownika w przypadku,
gdy urządzenia są wykorzystywane w innych celach niż
to się przewiduje lub, jeśli są nieodpowiednio zainsta-
lowane, użytkowane lub naprawiane.
Po całkowitym zakończeniu eksploatacji urządze-
nie należy oddać do punktu utylizacji odpadów.
3 Przygotowanie do pracy
1) Podłączyć wyjście liniowe urządzenia audio (np. od-
twarzacz CD, magnetofon, mikser) do wejścia typu
duży jack 6,3mm MAIN INPUT (3).
2) Podłączyć słuchawki do gniazd wyjściowych OUT-
PUT(4).
UWAGA! Podłączać jedynie słuchawki z wtykami
stereofonicznymi. Podłączanie wtyków mono może
spowodować uszkodzenie wzmacniacza.
3) Podłączyć wtyk zasilacza do gniazda wzmacniacza
“12V⎓” (5), a następnie zasilacz do sieci (230V/50 Hz).
Zapali się wskaźnik ON (1), wzmacniacz jest gotowy
do pracy.
4) Za pomocą regulatorów CH.. (2) ustawić osobno dla
każdego z wyjść odpowiednią głośność.
UWAGA! Nigdy nie ustawiać bardzo dużej głośności!
Stały, bardzo wysoki poziom dźwięku może uszko-
dzić narząd słuchu. Ucho ludzkie adaptuje się do
dużych głośności, które po pewnym czasie nie są już
percepowane jako wysokie. Dlatego też, nie wolno
przekraczać raz już ustawionego maksymalnego po-
ziomu głośności.
5) Po zakończeniu pracy, odłączyć zasilacz z sieci.

Amplificador de auriculares estéreo
Estas instrucciones van dirigidas a usuarios sin nin-
gún conocimiento técnico específico. Lea atenta-
mente estas instrucciones antes de funcionamiento
y guárdelas para usos posteriores.
1 Aplicaciones
El PPA-4 permite amplificar la señal de salida de línea
de una unidad de audio (p.ej. reproductor de CD) para
la reproducción estéreo vía 4 auriculares como máximo.
2 Consejos de utilización y de seguridad
Los aparatos (amplificador de auriculares y alimentador)
cumplen con todas las directivas relevantes por la UE y
por tanto están marcados con el símbolo .
¡ATENCIÓN! El alimentador usa voltaje peligroso. No
tocar nunca el interior del aparato. El manejo inexperto
del aparato puede provocar una descarga.
•
Estos aparatos están concebidos solamente para una
utilización en interiores. Protegerlos de todo tipo de
proyecciones de aguas, de las salpicaduras de agua,
de la humedad y del calor (temperatura ambiente
0–40°C).
•
Para limpiarlos, utilizar un trapo seco y suave, en
ningún caso, productos químicos o agua.
•
Declinamos cualquier responsabilidad en caso de daños
materiales o corporales resultandos si los aparatos se
utilizan por cualquier otro fin que no sea el adecuado,
no están conectados o utilizados o reparados correcta-
mente por una persona habilitada; por estos mismos
motivos carecería todo tipo de garantía.
Una vez los aparatos son retirados definitiva-
mente del servicio, debe depositarse en una
fábrica de reciclaje adaptada para su eliminación
no contaminante.
3 Funcionamiento
1) Conectar la salida de línea de la unidad de audio (p.ej.
reproductor de CD, lector de cassettes, mezclador) a la
toma jack de 6,3mm MAIN INPUT (3).
2) Conectar los auriculares a las tomas OUTPUT (4).
¡PRECAUCIÓN! Sólo conectar auriculares con una
toma estéreo. Si se utilizan tomas mono, el amplifi-
cador será dañarse.
3) Conectar la toma de bajo voltaje del alimentador a la
toma “12V⎓” (5) y el alimentador a la toma principal
de corriente de 230V/50Hz. El amplificador está en
funcionamiento y el LED ON (1) se ilumina.
4) Con los potenciómetros CH.. (2) ajustar el volumen
separadamente para cada auricular.
¡PRECAUCIÓN! Nunca ajustar un volumen de los
auriculares muy alto. Volúmenes muy altos y per-
manentes pueden dañar el oído! El oído humano se
acostumbra a los volúmenes altos de forma que luego
parecen más bajos. Así que, no ajustar un volumen
elevado que ha sido ajustado anteriormente.
5) Después del funcionamiento desconectar el alimenta-
dor de la toma principal de manera que no exista un
consumo innecesario.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte a utenti senza cono-
scenze tecniche specifiche. Vi preghiamo di leggerle
attentamente prima della messa in funzione e di
conservarle per un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Con il PPA-4 è possibile amplificare il segnale d’uscita Line
di una apparecchio audio (p.es. di un lettore CD) per la
riproduzione stereo su un massimo dei quattro cuffie.
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
Gli apparecchi (amplificatore per cuffie e alimentatore
rete) sono conformi a tutte le direttive rilevanti dell’UE e
pertanto portano la sigla .
ATTENZIONE! L’alimentatore rete funziona con tensione
di rete. Non intervenire mai al suo interno; la manipola-
zione scorretta può provocare delle scariche pericolose.
•
Far funzionare gli apparecchi solo all’interno di locali.
Proteggerli dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli spruzzi d’ac-
qua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal calore (temperatura
d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).
•
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;
non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
•
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati, di
impiego scorretto o di riparazione non a regola d’arte
degli apparecchi, non si assume nessuna responsabilità
per eventuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose
e non si assume nessuna garanzia per gli apparecchi.
Se si desidera eliminare gli apparecchi definitiva-
mente, consegnarli per lo smaltimento ad un’isti-
tuzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Messa in funzione
1) Collegare l’uscita Line dell’apparecchio audio (p.es.
lettore CD, tape-deck, mixer) con la presa jack 6,3mm
MAIN INPUT (3).
2) Collegare le cuffie con le prese jack 6,3mm OUTPUT(4).
ATTENZIONE! Impiegare solo cuffie con jack stereo.
Nel caso di jack mono, l’amplificatore subirà dei danni.
3) Inserire la spina per alimentazione DC dell’alimentatore
nella presa “12V⎓” (5) ed inserire l’alimentatore in una
presa di rete (230V/50 Hz). L’amplificatore è ora in fun-
zione e la spia di funzionamento ON (1) rimane accesa.
4) Con i regolatori CH.. (2) è possibile impostare il
volume per ogni cuffia separatamente.
ATTENZIONE! Mai tenere molto alto il volume delle
cuffie. A lungo andare, il volume eccessivo può pro-
curare danni all’udito! L’orecchio si abitua agli alti
volumi e dopo un certo tempo non se ne rende più
conto. Non aumentare il volume successivamente.
5) Dopo il funzionamento staccare l’alimentatore dalla
presa di rete per non consumare inutilmente della
corrente.
