Pour utiliser votre système Moocall HEAT, il faut d’abord l’activer en ligne.
Connectez-vous sur www.moocall.com/register pour naliser l’activation.
Les informations saisies durant l’activation seront les mêmes dont vous
aurez besoin pour utiliser l’application “Moocall Breedmanager”.

Um Ihr neues Moocall HEAT-System nutzen zu können, müssen
Sie es zunächst online aktivieren.
Gehen Sie zu www.moocall.com/register, um die Aktivierung abzuschließen.
Sie werden auch Ihr Konto für die Moocall Breedmanager App während der
Registrierung einrichten, also beachten Sie bitte diese Angaben.

systeem eerst online activeren.
Roep het internetadres www.moocall.com/register op om te kunnen
activeren.
U maakt dan tijdens het registreren meteen een eigen domein aan op uw
Moocall-fokbeheerapp. Let daarom goed op deze details.

At Moocall we know animals know best, and now with Moocall HEAT we
have gured out how to harness the bull’s natural instinct to let us know
exactly when a cow or heifer goes in to heat.
Currently, Moocall HEAT is only designed to work with herds breeding
outdoors. We are working on rening our approach to also work with indoor
breeding herds. Using Moocall HEAT indoors until we have that piece of the
puzzle gured out may lead to missed heats or false heat notications.
Our goal is to create products that make farming more efcient, productive
and protable. We believe Moocall HEAT will do just that by monitoring your
breeding herd 24/7.

Step 1: Charge the Moocall HEAT collar
To charge, locate the charge port on the inside of the Moocall HEAT collar,
remove the charge cap and insert charge cable as shown.
DO NOT force the power cable into the charging port of the collar.
IMPORTANT: First charge should be at least 15 hours.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the charge cap is dry before placing it back on the
Moocall HEAT collar to be sure of a proper, waterproof seal.
Note that the batteries in the Moocall HEAT collar are of very large capacity
and will take a long time to recharge. Please allow 15-20 hours for each
charge. A half charge of 7 hours will give you approximately 30 days usage.
IMPORTANT: Do not use Moocall HEAT without the charge cap in place.

collar will go to a solid blue when it’s
taking charge.

battery is fully charged.
When charging is completed, remove the charge cable and replace the cap
on the charge port.

Step 3: Attach a Moocall RFID ear tag
Use a standard tagger to attach the Moocall RFID ear tag to the animal.
The large part of the ear tag should be to the rear.
Step 4: Power on the Moocall HEAT collar
To turn on the Moocall HEAT collar,
press and hold the button on the
Moocall HEAT collar for ve seconds
as shown. The light on the collar will
blink many colours until it connects to
the mobile network. Once the light
blinks blue every 4-5 seconds, the
Moocall HEAT collar is on and active.
Hold the button for ten seconds to power off.
The light will go pink before the collar shuts down.
The Moocall HEAT collar will notify you when the battery level goes below
10%. At this point there is on average 3-5 days battery life left.

NOTE! Place the Moocall RFID ear tag as close to the center of the animal’s
ear as possible without interfering with any other ear tags she might have.

Step 5: Testing connectivity
Please perform this test in the area Moocall HEAT will be used to ensure
network coverage is adequate for Moocall HEAT to function.
If you do not receive a message within ten minutes of performing this test,
contact Moocall customer support.
Ensure that the Moocall HEAT collar is powered
on, activated and that the blue light is blinking Press the button rmly for half a second
Release and press the button again immediately
for another half second The light should start blinking green, indicating that the test is underway
If the green light doesn’t start blinking on the second press, ensure that
you’re making solid contact with the button and try again.
You will receive an SMS on all numbers connected with Moocall HEAT, an
email and a notication via the Moocall Breedmanager app to ensure all is
working correctly.
Only press the button with your nger, do not use any tools as this may
damage the button and the electronics inside.

Step 9: Put the collar on the bull
Loop the collar around the bull’s neck and bring the two ends of the buckle
together.
IMPORTANT! Always use great care and follow best practise farm safety
procedures when handling a bull.
A bull may cause you serious damage or injury!
Step 10: Release
Once the collar is on the bull’s neck,
release him into a herd of
cows/heifers tagged with
Moocall RFID ear tags. Your Moocall
HEAT system will start monitoring
for heat events immediately.
Snap the buckle closed and adjust the t of the collar by pulling on both
loose ends of the strap at the same time.
The collar should t snugly around the bull’s neck, similar to a dog’s collar.

The Moocall Breedmanager app is the new way to manage your herd and
breeding activities. Integrating with the Moocall HEAT system and the
Moocall calving sensor, Moocall Breedmanager will revolutionize the way
you manage your herd.
The Moocall Breedmanager app is your portal to the Moocall community of
farmers from all over the world. Discussion, buy and sell, tips and tricks and
much more is just a simple tap away.
Access to the Moocall Breedmanager app is completely free. You will create
your user account as you activate your Moocall HEAT system. The app will
then automatically gather the data from your Moocall HEAT system and
your Moocall calving sensors and log the activity in your herd section of the
app.
Your entire herd is now at your nger tips!
