
Lawn Swing Assembly Instructions
5’ Lawn Swing (M-100) & 4’ Lawn Swing (M-110)
NOTE: Check contents and read directions carefully before assembly. Report missing or damaged items to
Moon Valley customer service at 313-766-4950. Cracking or checking of logs is a natural part of the drying
process of cedar and does not affect the structural integrity of the wood.
Lawn Swing Components
(1) Pre-Assembled Seat (A) 4’ or 5’

(8) 5/16” Washers
(2) 5/16” Nuts

Swing Seat Assembly
Step 1: Position and join swing seat assembly (A) with swing back assembly
(B) using swing arm assembly (F) where two tenons of seat assembly insert
into the forward most two holes of swing arm assembly and single tenon of
swing back assembly inserts into rear most hole of swing arm assembly. Fully
seat lower arm in place using rubber mallet.
Step 2: Install remaining swing arm assembly to opposite side of swing seat.
Tap and fully seat arm into place.
Step 3: Position seat back (B) at a comfortable angle and secure to the upper
arm (F) with 3 ½” lag bolt and 1/4” washer. Repeat process for opposite side.
Step 4: Attach swing hangers (G) to arm assemblies (F) using 5” lag bolts and
5/16” washers. Align pre-drilled holes on swing hanger and fasten in pre-
marked locations (11 ½” and 12 ½” from front of top and bottom arms).
Step 5: Install 2” screw where all doweled
ends are inserted, securing seat (A)
(pictured) and seat back (B) to arm
assemblies (F).
