• Use this appliance only as described in this instruction manual. As with all electrical equipment,
whilst instructions aim to cover as many eventualities as possible, caution and common sense
should be applied when operating and installing this appliance.
• This appliance is designed for home air conditioning and must not be used for other purpose.
• It is dangerous to modify or alter the characteristic of the appliance in any way,
• The appliance must be installed in conformity with national legislation regulating electrical
equipment and installations.
• If the appliance requires repair, contact an authorized Service Center appointed by the
manufacturer only. Repairs carried out by unauthorized personnel may be dangerous.
• This appliance must be used exclusively by adults only.
• The appliance must be connected to an efficient earth system and the electrical circuit checked
by a qualified electrician.
• Do not use extension cables to connect the appliance to a power supply.
• Before cleaning or maintenance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
• Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cable.
• Do not install the appliance in room containing gas, oil or sulphur. Do not install near sources
of heat.
• Keep the appliance at least 50cm away from flammable substances (alcohol etc.) or pressurized
containers (e.g. aerosol cans).
• Do not place heavy or hot objects on top of the appliance.
• Clean the air filter at least once a week to ensure efficient performance.
• Avoid using other heating appliances when operating the appliance.
• Always transport the appliance upright or resting on one side. Before moving the appliance,
empty the internal circuit completely of water. After moving the appliance, wait at least 1 hour
before starting it.
• When pulling the appliance away, do not cover with plastic bags.
• The materials used for packaging can be recycled. You are therefore recommended to dispose
of them in special differentiated waste collection containers.
• At the end of its working life, consign the appliance to a specialist collection center.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized
technical service center to avoid risks.
• This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before plugging in the appliance into the power supply, ensure that:
• The power supply corresponds to the value indicated on the rating lable at the back of the
appliance.
• The power socket and electrical circuit are adequate for the appliance.
• The power socket matches that of the power plug. If this is not the case, have the power plug
replaced.
• The power supply is adequately earthed. Failure to follow these important safety instructions
absolves the manufacturer of all liability.

PREPARING FOR USE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The instruction below will enable you to prepare your appliance for operation as efficiently as
possible.
Before use, ensure that the air intake and outlet grilles are unobstructed.
AIR-CONDITIONING WITHOUT INSTALLATION
Just a few simple steps and your comfort is ensured with your appliance:

• Fit the air exhaust hose to the housing
at the back of the appliance (fig. A).
• Fit the window outlet to the end of the
hose.
• Place the appliance near a window or
French window. Adjust the length of
the hose to reach the window.
• Ensure that the air exhaust hose is
unobstructed.

• If you have a sash window, place the
bracket on the window sill, extend the
bracket fully within the window frame
fix the bracket by using the pin, then
lower the window onto the bracket.
Insert the window outlet of the
exhaust hose into the Slot, then
connect the hose to the appliance (fig. C).
• If you have double window, use the sucker provided to hold the two parts of the window
together (fig. D).
Keep the air hose as short and free and free of curve as possible to avoid bottlenecks.
TURNING THE APPLIANCE ON
Plug into the power supply, and the appliance will be on standby.
Press the ( ) button to turn the appliance on. The last used function before it was turned off
will appear.
Never turn the appliance off by unplugging from the power supply. Always press button ( ),
then wait for a few minutes before unplugging. This allows the appliance to perform a cycle of
checks to verify operation.
( ) COOL MODE
Ideal for cooling and dehumidifying the room.
To set this mode correctly:
• Press the ( ) button several times until the ( ) symbol appears.
• Select the target temperature from 18°C - 32°C (64°F - 90°F) by pressing
the ( ) or ( ) button until the corresponding value is displayed.
• Select the required fan speed by pressing the button.
THREE SPEEDS ARE AVAILABLE:
( ) Maximum Speed: to achieve the target temperature as rapidly as possible
( ) Medium Speed: reduces noise levels but still maintains a good level of comfort
( ) Low Speed: for silent operation
• The most suitable temperature for the room during the hot day varies from 24°C to 27°C
• The fan speed difference is more noticeable when the appliance is under fan mode but may
not be noticeable under cooling mode.
CONTROL PANEL
The control panel is located at the top of the appliance.
This enables you to activate specific functions without
using the remote controller.

Ideal for reducing room humidity.
In DRY mode, the appliance should be prepared in the same way as for
C L mode, with the air exhaust hose attached to enable the moisture
to be discharged outside.
To set this mode correctly:
• Press the ( ) button several times until the ( ) symbol appears.
• Select the required fan speed by pressing the ( ) button.
Three speeds are available:
( ) Maximum Speed: to achieve the best dehumidifying effect.
( ) Medium speed: reduces noise levels but still maintains a better dehumidifying effect.
( ) Low Speed: for silent operation but with slower dehumidifying effect.
( ) S ITCHING THE UNIT OF TEMPERATURE
When the appliance is standby, press button 20
seconds to change the unit of temperature.
FOR EXAMPLE: Before change, in cool mode, the
screen will display like (fig. 1).
After changing, in cool mode, the screen display like
(fig. 2).
SELF- DIAGNOSIS
The appliance has self-diagnosis system to identity several malfunctions. Error messages will be
displayed on the appliance control panel screen.
• Point the remote control at the receiver on the appliance. The
remote control must not be more than 7 meters away from the
appliance (without obstacles between the remote control and
the receiver)
• The remote control must be handled with extreme care. Do not drop or expose it to direct
sunlight or sources of heat. If the remote control does not work, detach the batteries, and
insert them it back.
INSERTING OR REPLACING THE BATTERIES
• Remove the cover on the rear of the remote control.
• Insert CR2025 3V batteries in the correct position (see instructions inside the battery
compartment).
• Replace the cover.
If the remote-control unit is replaced or disposed of, the batteries must be removed and discarded
in accordance with current legislation as they are harmful to the environment.
TURNING THE APPLIANCE ON
Plug into the power supply and the appliance will be in standby mode.
Press the ( ) button to turn on the appliance. The last used function
before it was turned off will appear.
NOTE: Never turn the appliance off by unplugging from the power
supply. Always press the ( ) button, then wait for a few minutes
before unplugging. This allows the appliance to perform a cycle of
checks to verify operation

( ) COOL MODE

( ) S ING FUNCTION
This function is useful to select the up/down swing of air delivery. To set this function correctly:
• Select the operating mode (cool, dry or fan) as
described above.
• Press ( ) button several times, the deflector
will stop different positions or swing
continuously.
( ) SLEEP FUNCTION
This function is useful for the night as it gradually reduces operation of the appliance.
To set this function correctly:
• Select the cool mode as described above.
• Press the ( ) button. The appliance operates in the previously selected mode.
• When you choose the sleep function, the screen will reduce the brightness.
The SLEEP function maintains the room at optimum temperature without excessive fluctuation in
either temperature or humidity with silent operation.
Fan speed is always at minimum; while room temperature humidity will vary gradually to ensure
the most comfortable temperature.
For added comfort hen SLEEP function is active, the set temperature will increase by 1°C after
1 hour, increase another 1°C after 2 hours, and consecutively.
( ) S ITCHING THE UNIT TEMPERATURE
In COOL mode, press the °C/°F button to select and
switch the unit temperature.
For example:
Before switching, in C L mode, the screen display
(fig. 1).
After switching, in C L mode, the screen display
(fig. 2).
( ) PROGRAMMING AUTO START UP
• Turn on the appliance, choose the mode you want, for example:
C L, 24°C, High Fan speed. Turn off the appliance.
• Press the ( ) button, the screen will display 1~24 hours, and the ( ) symbol and ( )
symbol and ( ) symbol will flash simultaneously (fig. 3).
• Press several times until the corresponding time is
displayed. Wait for 5 seconds and the timer will
activate, then only the ( ) symbol is displayed
on screen (fig. 4).
• Press again the ( ) button or the ( ) button,
the timer will be canceled, and the ( ) symbol
will disappear from the screen.
( ) FAN MODE
hen using the appliance in this mode, the air hose does not need to be

To set this mode correctly:
• Press the ( ) button several times until the ( ) symbol appears.
• Select the required fan speed by pressing the ( ) button.

This appliance is equipped with the latest MIST technology to prevent the water tank from
overflowing.
Note: As a safety measure and to prevent water spillage, the appliance is equipped with a fail-
safe device. If the water tank overflows, the appliance will stop operating and the control panel
will display “Ft” (FULL TANK as mentioned in SELF-DIAGNOSIS), the compressor and fan will not
start until the tank has been drained.
INTERMITTENT DRAINAGE
• Turn the appliance off, then drain the water tank by unplugging
the drain cap and allowing the water to flow into the drain pan.
The drain pan will not hold the full contents of water tank. It is
advisable to empty the drain pan several times. It is also
advisable to wheel the appliance outside, remove the drain cap
to drain the water.
• To ensure that the water tank is completely free of water, tilt the
appliance by lifting it slightly upwards from the front until no
more water drains from the outlet.
• Restart the appliance by pressing the N/ FF button. Ensure the
appliance operates in C L or DRY mode. The compressor will
start approximately 3 minutes after the appliance is switched on.

( ) PROGRAMMING AUTO OFF
• Press the ( ) button, the screen will display 1~24 hours, and several symbols will flash
simultaneously (fig. 5).
• Press several times until the corresponding time is displayed. Wait about 5 seconds, the timer
will activate, then only the ( ) symbol is displayed on the screen (fig. 6).
• Press again the ( ) button or the ( ) button, the timer will be canceled, and the ( )
symbol will disappear from the screen (fig. 7).
TIPS FOR PROPER USE
To get the best from your appliance, follow these recommendations:
• Close all the windows & doors in the room when using the appliance (fig. E). When installing
the appliance semi-permanently, you should leave a door slightly open (as little as 1 cm) to
ensure optimum ventilation.
• Prevent the room from direct sun exposure by partially closing curtains and/or blinds (fig. F).
• Never place any objects on the appliance.
• Do not obstruct the air intake and outlet (fig. G). Leave the grille free from obstruction.
• Ensure that there are no heat sources inside the room.
• Never use the appliance in a very damp room (laundry room for example).
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• Place the appliance on a level surface. If necessary, place the castor locks under the front
wheels.

CLEANING TROUBLESHOOTING
Before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance, wait for a few minutes before
unplugging from the power supply.
CLEANING THE CABINET
Clean the appliance only using a slightly damp cloth followed with a dry cloth.
• Never wash or immerse the appliance with water to prevent damaging it and to prevent an
electrical hazard.
• Never use petrol, alcohol or solvents to clean the appliance.
• Never spray insecticide or other similar liquids onto the appliance.
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
To keep your appliance working efficiently, you should clean the filter every week of operation.
• The evaporator filter can be removed (fig. H).
• There are two pieces of condenser filters (fig. I, fig. J & fig. K).
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust accumulations from the filter. If it is very dirty, immerse in
warm water and rinse several times. The water should not be hotter than 40°C. After washing,
leave the filter to dry then attach them back to the intake grille of the appliance.
