PLACEMEN
• Place the appliance on a flat & sturdy floor,
preferably near a window.
• The appliance should be placed at least 50cm
away from surrounding objects & the air
ventilations must operate unobstructed.

STEP 1:
Screw-fixture type
• Measure window size.
• Adjust length of window sealing plate to
fit window size.
• Fix the plate with a screw
Clip-fixture Type
• Measure window size.
• Adjust length of window sealing plate to fit window size.
• Once length of window sealing plate is determined, fix it by
using the toggle.
STEP 2:
• Install the fixed window sealing plate on the window.
STEP 3:
• Swirl the exhaust pipe assembly (exhaust fitting end) into the
rear panel outlet (counterclockwise).

1. POWER BU ON
Press button to power ON/OFF the unit.
2. FAN SPEED BU ON
Press the key to select from high/low speeds.
3. EMPERA URE/ IME ADJUS ING KEY
Press the key at cooling mode to increase/reduce the setting temperature; press it at
timing mode to adjust timing ON/OFF time; press Up and Down keys simultaneously to
switch Fahrenheit and Centigrade degree temperature.
4. MODE BU ON
Press key to select between "cooling", "heat", "fan" or "dry" modes
5. IMER BU ON
Press the key at standby mode to set ON time. Press the key at ON mode to set OFF
time.
6. EMPERA URE/ IMER DISPLAY PANEL
The display will indicate current temperature and time.
7. SLEEP BU ON
To activate sleep mode.
8. EMPERA URE SWI CH BU ON
Press this button to switch between ºC and ºF.
9. SWING BU ON
After machine turns on, press this key, the louver will swing continuously left and right.
Press the button again to stop the movement and for the louver to remain in that
position.

STEP 4:
• Place the exhaust pipe assembly (exhaust flat port) into the window sealing plate
assembly & tighten with screws.
INCORREC INS ALLA ION
• Important! eep the exhaust duct smooth. Incorrect
installation will affect work of the A/C.
• Avoid bending or twisting the exhaust duct.
• Ensure air can flow smoothly in the duct.
WARNING:
• The exhaust duct is designed exclusively for this model.
• Do not attempt to lengthen, modify or replace it as it will not work.
NOTE: Max. developed length of the exhaust duct is 1,500mm. It is recommended to
shorten it and keep it horizontal while installation.
REMO E CON ROLLER
Install batteries into the remote control before first use:
• Slide to open battery cover on the back of the remote control.
• Insert 2 new AAA batteries into their proper (+) and (-) terminals
• Slide back the battery cover into place.
NOTE:
• Use only AAA batteries. Do not use rechargeable or other types of batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Remove batteries from the remote control if appliance is not to be used for a long time.
WARNING:
• Never use leaked batteries.
•Chemicals in batteries could result in such health hazards such as
burns. If battery liquids leak onto skin or clothes, wash with clean
water immediately. Rinse mouth immediately and consult a doctor if
batteries are swallowed.

COOLING MODE
• Under cooling mode, cooling indicator will light on.
• Temperature setting is from 16 C to 30 C.
• Press Fan Speed Button to select from low/high fan speed.
FAN MODE
• Under Fan mode, indicator will be on.
• Press Fan Speed Button to select from low/ high fan speed.
• Temperature cannot be set under Fan mode.
DRY MODE
• Dry indicator will be on under this mode.
• Remove water plug (see right), insert one end of pipe to
drainage hose and the other end into the water tank.
• If ambient temperature ≥17ºC(or 62ºF)the compressor will
start and follow below sequence: if ambient temperature
≤15ºC (or 59ºF) the compressor will stop. When it reaches
≥17ºC, the compressor will start again (There would be a
3-min delay for Compressor protection).
• Fan runs with a fixed low speed.
• Temperature is fixed.
Notes: Under dry mode, dismantle the air exhaust duct or performance will be
affected and the water full alarm “FL” will sound.
IMER MODE
• In standby mode, press Timer button to set ON time. A range of 0 to 24 Hours could be
set by pressing on the UP/DOWN button. Timer indicator will light up in this mode.
• In standby, press Timer button to set OFF time. A range of 0 to 24 Hours could be set by
pressing the UP/DOWN button. Timer indicator will light up in this mode.

PERIODIC MAIN ENANCE
For maintaining the unit that is not to be used for a long time.
• Detach the water plug to drain any remaining water.
• Run in Fan mode for at least 2 hours to dry internal parts. Power off and disconnect from
the power supply.
• Clean the filter and reinstall.
• Dismantle the air exhaust duct and store it in a cool place.
• Remove batteries.
• Wrap the unit in a plastic bag and keep in a dry and cool place.
If the unit has not been used for a long time, please pay attention to the following
when operating again:
• Ensure water plug and filter are installed.
• Inspect power cord and plug before connecting to power supply.
• Insert batteries into the remote control.
• Assemble other parts according to the user manual.
DRAINAGE
The self-evaporative system will help the unit perform better and save energy by cooling
down the condenser by reusing condensed water.
The unit will display “FL” with a buzzing sound, if built-in water container is full. After the
compressor stops operation, drain water as follows:
• Unplug and dismantle air exhaust duct; Move the appliance to a right place;
• Detach the water plug on the drainage outlet and drain all water.
• Re-insert the water plug.
• Re-install the air exhaust duct, restart the appliance.
MAIN ENANCE
WARNING:
Always power off and disconnect from the power supply before commencing with
maintenance.
Cleaning the exterior
• Unplug before cleaning.
• Clean with soft and moist cloth. Never use chemical cleansers such as benzene, alcohol
and gasoline as these can damage the exterior finishing.
• Do not splash water as these can damage the inner parts.
Cleaning the filter
Clean the filter once every two weeks. Frequent cleaning is
required if indoor air quality is bad, as operating performance
can be affected. Follow below instructions for cleaning the
filter:
• Detach the air-inlet grille as indicated in the illustration.
• Wash the filter in 40 C warm water or water with neutral
detergent.
• Dry the filter in a cool place.
• Reinstall the filter and grille and restart the appliance.
WARNING:
• Do not wash filter in hot water above 40 C.
• Do not use abrasive solvents such as alcohol, gasoline
and benzene.
• In case of deformation, keep filters away from heat
sources and dry naturally in a cool place.
• Warning: Never operate the unit without the filter installed.
