It is in your interest to retain the retailers receipt as
proof of purchase. Please quote the model number if
the product develops a fault. This number can be
found on the handle of the product.
All Morphy Richards products are individually tested
before leaving the factory. In the unlikely event of
any appliance proving to be faulty within 28 days of
purchase it should be returned to the place of
purchase for it to be replaced.
If a fault develops after 28 days and within 24
months of original purchase, you should contact the
helpline number quoting the model number of the
product, or write to the address below. You will be
asked to return the product (in secure packaging) to
the address below along with a copy of proof of
purchase:

HOW DOES THERMO-:
CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY:
WORK?:
The multi styler contains a special thermoceramic
heating element which ensures it heats up to the
temperature you select within seconds. This heat is
then maintained throughout use, to guarantee your
style lasts all day.
The ceramic coating ensures that the hair cuticle lies
flat once styled. This ensures that your hair reflects
light and therefore appears healthy and shiny. The
ceramic coating also acts as a barrier to protect your
hair from the high temperature reached by the
multistyler. This minimises damage to the cuticle.
The multistyler is digitally controlled so that you can
select the heat setting that is best for your hair type
without causing unnecessary damage. Rate the
thickness of your hair on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being
the thinnest. Use the corresponding setting for best
results.

SAFETY INFORMATION:
When using your hair appliance, basic safety
precautions should always be followed. Please read
these instructions carefully before using the product,
and keep them in a safe place for future reference.

1This multistyler is professional standard, and
reaches very high temperatures. Always be careful
not to allow the barrel to come into contact with
the skin, and use the heat protection stands to avoid
causing damage to surfaces.

2Do not leave the barrels or plates in contact with
the hair for more than a few seconds. The multi
styler reaches very high temperatures, so there is no
need to leave the hair around the barrel or inside
the plates for longer than a few seconds. This will
avoid unnecessary damage to the hair cuticle.

3Use the appliance for its intended use only.

4To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the appliance in water or any other
liquids.

5It is recommended that this appliance should not be
used by children.

6Always unplug your appliance when it is not in use.

7Do not leave the multistyler switched on while
unattended.

8Do not take this product into a bathroom, or use
near water.

9In the event of cable damage, do not attempt to
replace the mains cable – return to Morphy
Richards.

10After use, do not store until the product has cooled
down.

11Do not place the multistyler on surfaces likely to be
damaged by the heat. Always use the safety stands.
WIRING:
This product is fitted with a 13A (BS1363) plug. A 13
amp fuse (BS1362) must be used. Check the voltage on
the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your
house electricity supply which must be AC (Alternating
current). If the socket outlets in your home are not
suitable for the plug supplied with this appliance the
plug should be removed and an appropriate one fitted.
IMPORTANT: THE PLUG REMOVED FROM THE MAINS
LEAD, IF SEVERED MUST BE DESTROYED AS A PLUG
WITH BARED FLEXIBLE CORD IS HAZARDOUS IF
ENGAGED INTO A LIVE SOCKET OUTLET.
MAINS LEAD:
As a safety precaution and to prolong the life of your
appliance, do not wrap the mains lead around the
appliance as this will cause damage.
HOW TO USE YOUR:
MULTISTYLER:

1Insert the chosen attachment into the handle of the
multistyler. Ensure the attachment is locked into
place by twisting the collar.

2Plug the multistyler in at the mains.
nn
3Press and hold the on/off switch until the blue
screen illuminates. ‘Set’ will appear in the top left
hand corner of the screen and a ‘sun’ symbol will
begin to flash.

our multistyler will automatically switch on at
temperature setting 5.

5Select the correct heat setting for your hair type. Yo u
can do this by using the UP DOWN arrows on the
handle. The setting you select will be highlighted on
the digital display e.g setting 1 and setting 10.

6The thicker/coarser your hair type, the higher setting
you will require. It will not be necessary to use the
highest setting for most hair types.

7Whilst heating, ensure the multistyler is not left on
any surfaces which could be damaged by the heat.
Use the heat protection stand when using tongs.

8The buzzer will sound and the sun symbol will stop
flashing when the multistyler has reached the
desired temperature. You are now ready to style!
CLEANING:
It is normal to find build up of hair products on the
barrels and plates of your multistyler. In order to avoid
this you should clean your multi styler regularly. Always
wait for the plates/barrels to cool down thoroughly
before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to remove any build
up. If this fails to clean the plates, try a non abrasive
cleaning wipe e.g. CIF.

our multi styler comes with 5 attachments so you can
create any look you want. For sleek, straight hair, use
the STRAIGHTENER attachment. If you want curls or waves
use one of the 3 tong barrels. The WIDE BARREL will help
you to create soft waves, whilst the SLIM BARREL will
create tighter more defined curls. The DROP TONG is
designed to give a more natural looking curl – tighter at
the roots, and looser towards the tip. The BRUSH
attachment slides over the narrow barrel and can be
used to revive your style and create volume.

1Before changing the attachments, always ensure the
multistyler is switched off at the mains and at the
handle before you changing the attachments.

2Check that the attachment you are removing has
cooled down.

3Hold the attachment firmly and twist the attachment
release collar to unlock the attachment. Pull the
attachment gently from the handle.

4Insert the attachment you wish to use into the
handle and twist the collar to lock in place.

The Thermo Ceramic multi styler is designed to reach
extremely high temperatures for use on all hair types.
Most hair types can be styled perfectly without using the
highest temperature settings. Where possible you should
always try to use lower settings as this is safer and
kinder to your hair.
As a guide to which heat setting is best for your hair,
you should rate your hair on a scale of 1-10 (10 being
thickest, 1 thinnest). This rating will correspond to the
optimum heat setting for your hair.
