UTILIZZO

MOTOAIRBAG® è studiato per utilizzo motociclistico in strade regolate dal codice stradale.

ZONA DI PROTEZIONE

MOTOAIRBAG® offre protezione alla schiena, alla zona cervicale ed alla zona sacrale Modello S164S e torace Modello S11.

SIGNIFICATO DELLA MARCATURA

La marcatura CE apposta sul protettore indica la conformità alle esigenze della Direttiva 89/686/CEE (e successive modifiche) comprese le procedure di

certificazione di cui al capitolo II della direttiva stessa. Essa concretizza la conformità a tutti gli obblighi che spettano al fabbricante in relazione al

prodotto ai sensi delle direttive comunitarie che ne contemplano l'apposizione. La marcatura CE attesta che il protettore è stato sottoposto alla

procedura di Certificazione CE. In considerazione dei rischi da cui protegge, il Protettore è stato sottoposto alla procedura di certificazione CE presso

l'Organismo Notificato n°0498 (RICOTEST Via Tione, 9 - 37010 Pastrengo Verona, Italia), che ne ha certificato la conformità in base ai requisiti previsti

dalla Direttiva europea 89/686/CEE (e successive modifiche) ed ai requisiti della norma EN1621/4:2013.

UTILIZZO DI MOTOAIRBAG®

 Indossare MOTOAIRBAG®, come ultimo capo di abbigliamento.

 Allacciare sempre la fibbia anteriore della cintura

 Allacciare la fibbia che collega le bretelle (se presente)

 Regolare gli imbrachi in modo che siano aderenti al corpo (bretella e cintura)

 Chiudere la zip anteriore (per modello S11 MAB v2.0c: Chiudere gilet MOTOAIRBAG® come illustrato pag 32

 Stringere le regolazioni laterali della parte tessile, (se presenti)

 Verificare che il sellino della moto sia ben saldo alla moto

 Verificare che la cinghia con anello montata sulla sella non sia lesionata

 Collegare il cavo di attivazione di MOTOAIRBAG® all’anello della cinghia fissata sulla moto prima di mettersi in movimento

 A moto ferma, prima di scendere, scollegare il cavo di attivazione.

MOTOAIRBAG® potrebbe non funzionare correttamente se non vengono seguite con attenzione le istruzioni. In caso di dubbi contattare il Produttore o

il Rivenditore autorizzato

REGISTRAZIONE DEL SERIALE

I dispositivi airbag di MOTOAIRBAG® vengono assemblati e collaudati al 100%. Ogni dispositivo riporta un numero di serie che va comunicato a D.P.I.

Safety o attraverso la compilazione e spedizione del cartellino di registrazione presente su tutti i MOTOAIRBAG® o seguendo la procedura di

registrazione sul sito www.motoairbag.com.

AVVERTENZE E LIMITAZIONI D’USO (Testo conforme alla noma EN1621/4:2013)

 Nessun protettore può garantire la totale protezione da lesioni

 Il protettore potrebbe non garantire protezione in tutte le circostanze, ad esempio

 Durante il primo impatto tra motoveicolo e l’ostacolo

 In caso di incidente senza separazione motociclista – motoveicolo

 Il protettore è compatibile con le protezioni certificate EN1621/1 e EN1621/2 purché indossate sotto il protettore

 Allacciare sempre la fibbia anteriore. Se la fibbia anteriore dell’imbrago non è allacciata, il protettore potrebbe non rimanere nella posizione corretta

durante il funzionamento

 Non manomettere alcun elemento del protettore per non alterarne il corretto funzionamento.

 Il protettore funziona solo se il cavo di attivazione è collegato alla moto tramite l’anello della cinghia.

 Collegare il cavo di attivazione solamente all’anello della cinghia di dotazione e a nessun altro punto.

 Non indossare nulla sopra il protettore (ad esempio zaini, impermeabili, borselli, altri capi di abbigliamento, ecc.) che possa impedire od ostacolare

l’apertura del bag protettivo.

 Non manomettere o modificare i fissaggi che assicurano la chiusura delle zone che ospitano il sistema airbag. Non inserire elementi che possano

impedire il movimento di queste zone quando l’airbag entra in funzione.

 Il protettore offre protezione solo nella condizione gonfia

 Il protettore funziona solo se il cavo di attivazione è collegato alla moto

 Tenere lontano il protettore da oggetti appuntiti o taglienti (esempio spille, aghi, lame ecc).

 Utilizzare a temperature comprese tra 0°C e +45°C

 Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini

 Non ricaricare MOTOAIRBAG® dopo un impatto.

 Non utilizzare MOTOAIRBAG® senza bombola o con bombola perforata

 Non attivare senza bombola

 Utilizzare solo ricambi originali

 MOTOAIRBAG® può essere indossato sia dal pilota che dal passeggero

 Non riporre nelle tasche della parte tessile oggetti appuntiti o taglienti

IL PROTETTORE RISPONDE ALLE CARATTERISTICHE DI PROTEZIONE SOLO SE CORRETTAMENTE UTILIZZATO ED IN CORRETTO STATO

Dl CONSERVAZIONE.

L'azienda declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni/conseguenze derivanti da un utilizzo improprio o mancata applicazione delle

istruzioni riportate in questo manuale.

COME COLLEGARE MOTOAIRBAG® AL MOTOVEICOLO

 Al primo utilizzo montare la cinghia con l’anello attorno alla sella del motociclo seguendo le istruzioni riportate nelle figure.

 Il punto di aggancio deve essere creato dietro al motociclista seduto sulla sella della moto. Nel caso in cui il passeggero indossi MOTOAIRBAG®

dovrà utilizzare la propria cinghia che va posizionata sulla sella dietro al passeggero seduto.

Ad ogni utilizzo prima di partire

 Verificare che il sellino della moto sia ben saldo alla moto

 Verificare che la cinghia con anello montata sulla sella non sia lesionata

 Collegare MOTOAIRBAG® al motociclo seguendo le istruzioni riportate su questo manuale

MOTOAIRBAG® potrebbe non funzionare correttamente se non vengono seguite con attenzione le istruzioni. In caso di dubbi contattare il Produttore o

il Rivenditore autorizzato

CONTROLLI PERIODICI

Effettuare frequentemente ed ad ogni attivazione le seguenti verifiche.

 Verificare che MOTOAIRBAG® non presenti danneggiamenti o segni di usura alla parte tessile

 Verificare che MOTOAIRBAG® non presenti danneggiamenti o segni di usura alla parte airbag

 Verificare che il cavo di attivazione non sia lesionato

 Verificare che non ci siano tracce di ruggine/ossidazioni o danneggiamenti sulla bombola

 Verificare che la bombola sia saldamente avvitata al generatore di gas (verificare solo manualmente senza attrezzi)

 Verificare che la cinghia con anello montata sulla sella non sia lesionata

 Verificare che la cinghia con anello sia ben collegata alla moto

 Verificare che il sellino della moto sia ben saldo alla moto

 Verificare che la cerniera che permette l’accesso al sistema airbag sia chiusa.

 Per modello S11 - MAB v2.0c: verificare che il velcro laterale sia chiuso e che il cavo di attivazione dell’airbag frontale sia ben collegato al cavo di

attivazione dell’airbag posteriore

MOTOAIRBAG® potrebbe non funzionare correttamente se non vengono seguite con attenzione le istruzioni.

Quando uno o più controlli evidenziano un’anomalia, non utilizzare MOTOAIRBAG® e contattare il Produttore o il Rivenditore autorizzato.

SCELTA DELLA TAGLIA.

Scegliere la taglia di MOTOAIRBAG® sia in accordo con la distanza vita-spalla ( “waist to shoulder” - visibile sull’etichetta di certificazione), sia

secondo la taglia specifica del capo di abbigliamento nel quale il sistema airbag è alloggiato.

PRESENZA DI SOSTANZE TOSSICHE

Come previsto dalla normativa EN1621/4:2013 e EN340:2003, i materiali utilizzati per realizzare i componenti e l’intero sistema MOTOAIRBAG® non

contengono prodotti tossici o nocivi.

STOCCAGGIO.

 Riporre MOTOAIRBAG® asciutto in luogo asciutto a temperatura inferiore a 45°.

 Non riporre MOTOAIRBAG® in luoghi soggetti a fonte di calore (fiamme libere, caloriferi,fonti di calore etc)

 Tenere MOTOAIRBAG® lontano da oggetti appuntiti o taglienti

 Non appoggiare pesi sopra MOTOAIRBAG®

LAVAGGIO

 Estrarre il sistema airbag dalla parte tessile seguendo istruzioni

riportate.

 Non lavare la parte airbag

 Lavare la sola parte tessile.

 Utilizzare acqua a 30°C con detergente neutro

 Non utilizzare solventi o prodotti abrasivi

 Non centrifugare

 Non usare asciugatrice

 Non stirare

 Lasciare asciugare appeso la parte tessile

 Alla fine, Inserire il sistema airbag nella parte tessile

RIGENERAZIONE DI MOTOAIRBAG®

ATTENZIONE: NON RICARICARE MOTOAIRBAG® DOPO UN IMPATTO poiché il dispositivo airbag potrebbe essere lesionato.

In questo caso raccomandiamo di contattare un rivenditore autorizzato o D.P.I. Safety s.r.l. per l’opportuna revisione.

 SOLO IN CASO DI ATTIVAZIONE SENZA IMPATTO si può procedere alla operazione di ricarica seguendo le istruzioni presenti sul manuale

 Prima di rigenerare MOTOAIRBAG® eseguire le operazioni di verifica presenti sul manuale (controlli periodici pag 8)

DURATA DEL PROTETTORE MOTOAIRBAG®:

La vita utile di un sistema di protezione è influenzata dalla intensità di uso e dalla corretta applicazione del modo di uso e manutenzione.

MOTOAIRBAG® va dismesso e mandato in revisione nei casi in cui:

 MOTOAIRBAG® ha subito un impatto

 MOTOAIRBAG® non supera i controlli periodici riportati su questo manuale.(pag8)

 MOTOAIRBAG® è stato attivato senza impatto 6 / 8 volte

 Dopo 4 anni dall’acquisto o 4 anni dall’ultima revisione.

SMALTIMENTO DEL PRODOTTO

Per dismettere MOTOAIRBAG® attivare a mano il sistema airbag tirando il cavo di attivazione per perforare la bombola.

Separare cavo di attivazione e bombola da MOTOAIRBAG®

I seguenti componenti sono da considerare rifiuti solidi urbani

 MOTOAIRBAG® separato da bombola e cavo di attivazione

 cavo di attivazione

 bombola perforata

La bombola non perforata deve essere o perforata come descritto o smaltita secondo le procedure locali o contattando il servizio di assistenza del

produttore.

In alternativa riconsegnare MOTOAIRBAG® a D.P.I. Safety che provvederà al corretto smaltimento.

INTEDED USE

MOTOAIRBAG® is designed only for use on roads regulated by a government highway traffic act.

PROTECTION ZONE

MOTOAIRBAG® provides protection to the back, neck and sacral area.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CE MARKING

The CE mark on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) items indicates compliance with the Directive 89/686/CEE (plus subsequent modifications)

including certification procedures found in Chapter II of the directive.

This directive describes, in detail, the manufacturer’s obligations in order to comply with CE requirements relating to the product to be certified. The CE

mark also signifies the protector has successfully completed the procedures of CE type approval and certification.

MOTOAIRBAG® PPE has undergone the appropriate analysis for CE certification at Notified Body nr. 0498 (RICOTEST, via Tione, 9 37010 Pastrengo

Verona - Italy), which certified the compliance with the requirements of the European directive 89/686/CEE (plus subsequent modifications) and

applicable requirements of the standard EN1621/4:2013.

HOW TO USE MOTOAIRBAG®

 Always wear MOTOAIRBAG® over your existing riding jacket or suit.

 Always fasten the front buckle of the belt to secure the airbag to your body

 Adjust the internal harnesses so they are snug to the body

 Fasten the front buckle of the shoulder straps (if present)

 Close frontal zipper (For model S11 - MAB v2.0c Close MOTOAIRBAG® as described in page 32)

 Adjust the external lateral straps, if present.

 Ensure the D-ring belt is properly secured to the motorcycle seat

 Ensure the seat is properly secured to the motorcycle

 Connect activation cable to the D-ring belt (secured to the motorcycle) prior to moving

 Before get off the motorbike, unhook the activation cable

MOTOAIRBAG® may not work correctly if instructions are not carefully followed.

Contact the manufacturer or authorized dealer if any questions about these instructions

REGISTRATION OF SERIAL NUMBER

MOTOAIRBAG® airbag systems are 100% tested. Every airbag system has serial number which shall be communicate to D.P.I. Safety by mail (using

registration chart on MOTOAIRBAG®) or on the web site www.motoairbag.com

LIMITATIONS – WARNINGS ( Text in compliance with EN 1621/4: 2013)

 No protector can guarantee complete protection from injuries

 MOTOAIRBAG® may not provide protection in all circumstances, for example:

 During the first impact between the motorcycle and the obstacle

 In the event of an accident without separation from the motorcycle

 The protector is compatible with rigid protectors certified in compliance with EN1621/1 or EN1621/2 when they are worn properly under

MOTOAIRBAG®

 Always fasten the front buckle. If the front buckle of the harness is not fastened, the protector will not stay in proper position

 Do not tamper with any components of MOTOAIRBAG® as tampering may cause a malfunction

 The protector works only if the activation cable is connected to the D-ring belt installed on the motorcycle seat

 Connect the activation cable to the D-ring belt and to no other point on the motorcycle

 Do not wear anything on top of the protector (e.g. backpacks, raincoats, purses, other clothing, etc..) that can hinder or obstruct the opening of the

protective airbag.

 Do not tamper with or modify the hardware which secures the airbag system inside the vest and do not obstruct the movement of these areas.

 MOTOAIRBAG® provides protection only when inflated.

 MOTOAIRBAG® works only if the activation cable is connected to the motorcycle.

 Protect MOTOAIRBAG® from pointed or sharp objects (e.g. pins, needles, blades, etc.).

 Use MOTOAIRBAG® only when temperatures are between 0°C (32° F) to 45°C (113° F)

 Keep out of reach of children

 Do not recharge MOTOAIRBAG® after an impact.

 Do not operate without gas cylinder or with perforated bottle

 Do not activate without gas cylinder

 Use only MOTOAIRBAG® brand spare parts

 MOTOAIRBAG® can be worn by the driver and the passenger

MOTOAIRBAG® satisfies safety condition only if it is correctly used and in a perfect state of repair.

The manufacturer disclaims all liability for any damage / consequences resulting from improper use or non-application of the instructions in

this manual.

HOW TO CONNECT MOTOAIRBAG® TO YOUR MOTORCYCLE

 The first time MOTOAIRBAG® is used, connect the D-ring belt around the motorcycle seat using the instructions in this manual.

 Install the D-ring belt according to the pictures

The D-ring belt shall be installed behind driver seat. When passenger is present, a second D-Ring belt shall be present on the saddle, behind

passenger seat.

 For each subsequent use

o connect the activation cable to the D-ring belt before start.

o Ensure the D-ring belt is properly secured to the motorcycle seat

o Ensure the seat is properly secured to the motorcycle

Contact the manufacturer or authorized dealer if in doubt. MOTOAIRBAG® may not work correctly if instructions are not carefully followed.

MOTOAIRBAG® CHECK LIST

Perform frequently the following checks and after an activation:

 Inspect the MOTOAIRBAG® textile vest material for signs of damage

 Inspect the MOTOAIRBAG® airbag system for signs of damage

 Inspect activation cable for signs of damage

 Ensure the gas cylinder has not traces of damages, rust or oxidation

 Ensure that the gas cylinder is securely screwed to the gas generator (hand-tighten only)

 Ensure the D-ring belt is in good condition without signs of damage or wear

 Ensure the D-ring belt is properly secured to the motorcycle seat

 Ensure the seat is properly secured to the motorcycle

 Ensure the zipper for airbag inspection is closed

 For model S11 - MAB v2.0c: Check that lateral Velcro is closed. - Check that the activation cable of front airbag is well connected to activation cable

of the rear airbag

MOTOAIRBAG® may not work correctly if instructions are not carefully followed.

Contact the manufacturer or authorized dealer if any questions about these instructions

SIZE

Choose the correct size using the maximum “Waist to Shoulder” measurement together the right size of the garment in which the airbag system is

inserted

PRESENCE OF TOXIC SUBSTANCES

As required by EN1621/4:2013 and EN340, MOTOAIRBAG® products are made with no toxic or harmful components,

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

 Store MOTOAIRBAG® in a dry place at temperature below 45°C (113° F).

 Do not store MOTOAIRBAG® near heat sources (e.g. flame, heater, etc.)

 Do not store MOTOAIRBAG® near sharp or pointed objects

 Do not store MOTOAIRBAG® with any weight on top

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

 Remove the air bag system according to instructions

 DO NOT WASH THE AIRBAG

 Only wash the external fabric vest

 Use warm water (30°C / 86 ° F) and a mild detergent

 Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products

 Do not spin-dry

 Do not place in clothes dryer

 Do not iron Hang vest to dry only -

 At the end, Insert the airbag system in the textile component

MOTOAIRBAG® RECHARGE

 WARNING: Do not recharge MOTOAIRBAG® after an impact because the airbag system could be damaged.

Contact the manufacturer or authorized dealer for inspection

 Recharge MOTOAIRBAG® only in case of activation without impact.

 Before recharging, follow check list on this instruction (page 12)

WHEN TO DISPOSE OF MOTOAIRBAG®

The duration of the protector depends from the intensity of use, the correct application of the mode of operation and maintenance

MOTOAIRBAG® shall not be used and send to revision in these circumstances

 After an impact

 Failure of check list described in this manual (page 12)

 After 6 / 8 activation without impact

 After 4 years from first use or 4 year after last revision

DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS

Before dispose of MOTOAIRBAG® activate airbag system by pulling activation cable by hand. In this way the bottle will be perforated

Activation cable and bottle shall be separated from MOTOAIRBAG®

Following components are considered as common waste

• MOTOAIRBAG® without bottle and activation cable

• Activation cable

• Perforated bottle

Not perforated bottle shall be perforated as described or disposed in accordance with local regulation or contact the manufacturer assistance service.

In alternative way, send MOTOAIRBAG® (including all parts) to producer for disposal

BEDEUTUNG DES CE-ZEICHENS

Das CE-Zeichen für Produkte der persönlichen Schutzausrüstungen schließt die Übereinstimmung mit DEN Anforderungen der Vorschrift 89/686/CEE

und späteren Änderungen) ein sowie die Zertifizierungs-Verfahren, die im Kapitel II der Vorschrift enthalten sind.

Die Vorschrift beschreibt detailliert die Anforderungen an die Herstellung, damit das Produkt gemäß CE-Anforderungen zertifiziert werden kann. Das

CE-Zeichen zeigt außerdem an, dass der Protektor die CE-Zertifizierung erfüllt , und dass der Hersteller das Verfahren der Typgenehmigung und CE-

Zertifizierung erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat.

MOTOAIRBAG® PSA hat das CE-Prüfungsverfahren durchlaufen unter der Reg. Nr. 0498 (RICOTEST, via Tione, 937010 Pastrengo Verona - Italien),

das die Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen der Europa-Richtlinie 89/686/CEE (inklusive aller späteren Änderungen) und anwendbarer

Anforderungen der Euronorm EN 1621/4:2013 garantiert.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG MOTOAIRBAG®

• Tragen Sie MOTOAIRBAG® in Ihrem Kleider richtig eingepackt über Ihrer Motorradjacke oder Motorradanzug.

• Schließen Sie den Front-Verschluss des Gurts, um den Airbag an Ihrem Körper zu sichern.

 Stellen Sie die Gurte so ein, dass sie am Körper anliegen.

• Befestigen Sie die vordere Wölbung der Schultergurte (falls vorhanden)

• Schließen Sie den Front-Reißverschluss. Fur model S11 - MAB v2.0c: Schließen MOTOAIRBAG ® wie dargestellt pag 32

 Justieren Sie die außenliegenden seitlichen Gurte falls vorhandenJustieren.

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass der D-Ring-Verschluss in einem guten Zustand ist, ohne Zeichen von Beschädigung oder Schwäch

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sattel ordnungsgemäß am Motorrad befestigt ist.

• Verbinden Sie das Aktivierungskabel mit dem D-Ring-Verschluss (der mit dem Motorrad verbunden ist) vor dem Starten.

• Aktivierungskabel vor dem Absteigen aushaken

MOTOAIRBAG® kann nicht korrekt funktionieren, wenn diese Hinweise nicht sorgfältig befolgt werden.

REGISTRIERTE SERIENNUMMER

Airbag-Systeme von MOTOAIRBAG® sind zu 100% getestet. Jedes Airbag-System hat eine Seriennummer, die Sie bei D.P.I. Safety registrieren

lassen können. Benutzen Sie das Registrierungsformular an MOTOAIRBAG® oder registrieren Sie sich auf www.motoairbag.com.

BESCHRÄNKUNGEN - WARNHINWEISE (Text nach EN 1621/4: 2013)

• Kein Protektor kann vollständigen Schutz vor Verletzungen garantieren.

MOTOAIRBAG® kann nicht unter allen Umständen schützen, wie zum Beispiel:

• Beim ersten Aufprall von Motorrad und Hindernis

• Wenn sich der Fahrer beim Sturz nicht vom Motorrad trennt

• Der Protektor ist kombinierbar mit herkömmlichen Protektoren der Norm EN 1621/1 oder EN 1621/2, wenn sie korrekt unter MOTOAIRBAG®

getragen werden.

• Schließen Sie immer die Front-Schließe. Der Airbag bleibt sonst nicht in der richtigen Position.

• Verändern Sie keine Teile von MOTOAIRBAG®, denn jede Manipulation kann eine Störung verursachen.

• Der Protektor funktioniert nur, wenn das Aktivierungskabel am fest mit dem Motorrad verbundenen D-Ring-Verschluss eingehängt ist.

• Verbinden Sie das Aktivierungskabel mit dem D-Ring-Verschluss, aber mit keinem anderen Teil des Motorrads.

• Tragen Sie nichts über dem Protektor (z.B. Rucksack, Regenkleidung, Beutel, Kleidung, etc. ...), das das Öffnen des Airbag-Protektors verhindern

oder verlangsamen könnte.

• Verändern Sie keinesfalls die Sicherheitseinrichtung des Airbagsystems im Inneren der Weste und schränken Sie die Beweglichkeit in diesem

Bereich nicht ein.

• MOTOAIRBAG® schützt nur in aufgeblasenem Zustand.

• MOTOAIRBAG® funktioniert nur, wenn das Aktivierungskabel mit dem Motorrad verbunden ist.

• Halten Sie MOTOAIRBAG® von spitzen oder scharfen Gegenständen fern wie z.B. Nägeln, Nadeln, Klingen, etc.).

• Gebrauchen Sie MOTOAIRBAG® nur bei Temperaturen zwischen 0°C (32°F) und 45°C (113°F).

• Von Kindern fern halten

• Füllen Sie MOTOAIRBAG® nach einem Aufprall nicht wieder auf.

• Nicht ohne Gas-Kartusche oder mit perforierter Kartusche verwenden.

• Lösen Sie das System nicht ohne Kartusche aus.

• Verwenden Sie nur originale MOTOAIRBAG®-Ersatzteile.

• MOTOAIRBAG® kann vom Fahrer und vom Beifahrer getragen werden.

MOTOAIRBAG® kann den Sicherheitsanforderungen nur bei korrektem Gebrauch und in einwandfreiem Zustand entsprechen.

Der Hersteller weist die Haftung für jegliche Schäden oder negative Folgen zurück, die durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch oder Nicht-

Beachtung der Hinweise in diesem Handbuch entstehen können.

WIE SIE MOTOAIRBAG® MIT IHREM MOTORRAD VERBINDEN

 Verschnallen Sie den D-Ring-Verschluss beim ersten Einsatz von MOTOAIRBAG® mit Hilfe dieser Gebrauchsanweisung.

 Entfernen Sie den Motorradsitz und befestigen bzw. verschnallen Sie den D-Ring-Verschluss wie auf den Abbildungen ersichtlich.

 Der D-Ring-Verschluss sollte hinter dem Fahrersitz angebracht werden. Für den Beifahrer wird ein zweiter D-Ring-Verschluss auf dem Sattel

befestigt, hinter dem Beifahrersitz.

 Für jeden weiteren Gebrauch verbinden Sie das Aktivierungskabel mit dem D-Ring-Verschluss vor dem Starten

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass der D-Ring-Verschluss in einem guten Zustand ist, ohne Zeichen von Beschädigung oder Schwäche

 Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sattel ordnungsgemäß am Motorrad befestigt ist.

Bei Zweifeln oder Problemen wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller oder autorisierten Fachhändler. MOTOAIRBAG® kann nicht korrekt funktionieren,

wenn diese Hinweise nicht sorgfältig befolgt werden.

MOTOAIRBAG®-CHECKLISTE

Kontrollieren Sie konsequent nach jeder Aktivierung:

• Prüfen Sie das Textilmaterial der Weste von MOTOAIRBAG® genau auf Zeichen von Beschädigung oder Abnutzung.

• Kontrollieren Sie das Airbag-System von MOTOAIRBAG® nach Beschädigung.

• Prüfen Sie das Aktivierungskabel auf Schäden.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gaskartusche keine Schäden aufweist wie Rost oder Oxidation.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gaskartusche in den Gas-Generator fest eingeschraubt ist (so fest wie mit bloßer Hand möglich).

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der D-Ring-Verschluss in einem guten Zustand ist, ohne Zeichen von Beschädigung oder Schwäche.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der D-Ring-Verschluss am Motorradsattel ordnungsgemäß befestigt ist.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sattel ordnungsgemäß am Motorrad befestigt ist.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der seitliche Reißverschluss zur Sichtung des Airbags geschlossen ist.

 Fur model S11 - MAB v2.0c: Verifizierung, dass die Klettseite geschlossen.- Überprüfen Sie, dass die Aktivierung Kabel vom Front-Airbag ist gut,

um die Aktivierung Kabel der hinteren Airbag verbunden

MOTOAIRBAG® kann nicht korrekt funktionieren, wenn nicht alle Hinweise sorgfältig befolgt werden.

Wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller oder autorisierten Fachhändler, wenn Sie Fragen zu diesen Hinweisen haben..

GRÖSSE

Bestimmen Sie die richtige Größe der Weste, in die der Airbag integriert ist, indem Sie die Entfernung "Hüfte bis Schulter" bestimmen.

GIFTIGE BESTANDTEILE

Gemäß Norm EN 1621/4:2013 und EN 340, werden MOTOAIRBAG®-Produkte ohne giftige oder gefährliche Bestandteile produziert..

AUFBEWAHRUNGSHINWEISE

• Bewahren Sie MOTOAIRBAG® an einem trockenen Ort auf unter 45°C (113°C).

• Lagern Sie MOTOAIRBAG® nicht in der Nähe von Heizquellen (z.B. Flammen, Heizern, etc.).

• Lagern Sie MOTOAIRBAG® nicht in der Nähe von scharfen oder spitzen Gegenständen.

• Beschweren Sie MOTOAIRBAG® nicht mit schweren Gegenständen.

WASCHHINWEISE

 Entfernen Sie das Airbag-System gemäß Instruktionen.

• WASCHEN SIE DEN AIRBAG UNTER KEINEN UMSTÄNDEN.

• Waschen Sie nur die Weste aus Textilmaterial.

• Verwenden Sie warmes Wasser (30°C / 86 °F) und milde Seife.

• Verwenden Sie keine Lösungs- oder Scheuermittel.

• Nicht Schleudern

• Nicht im Wäschetrockner trocknen

• Nicht bügeln, Weste zum Trocknen aufhängen

• Airbag-System schließlich wieder in die Weste einbauen.

NACHFÜLLEN VON MOTOAIRBAG®

• ACHTUNG: Befüllen Sie MOTOAIRBAG® nach einem Aufprall nicht wieder, da das Airbag-System beschädigt sein könnte.

• Wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller oder autorisierten Fachhändler zur Sichtung.

• Befüllen Sie MOTOAIRBAG® nur nach einer Aktivierung ohne Aufprall wieder neu.

• Befolgen Sie vor dem Wiederauffüllen die Checkliste in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung. (seite 16)

WANN MOTOAIRBAG® AUSGEWECHSELT WERDEN MUSS

• Die Haltbarkeit des Protektors hängt von der Häufigkeit des Gebrauchs, der korrekten Verwendung und der Art des Umgangs und der Pflege ab.

• MOTOAIRBAG® sollte unter folgenden Umständen nicht weiterverwendet werden, sondern zur Revision eingeschickt

werden:

 Nach einem Aufprall

 MOTOAIRBAG® ist die Checkliste nicht passieren (seite 16)

 Nach 6 bis 8 Aktivierungen ohne Aufprall

 Alle 4 Jahre vom ersten Gebrauch an

HINWEISE ZUM AUSTAUSCHEN

• Bevor Sie MOTOAIRBAG® auswechseln, aktivieren Sie das Airbag-System, indem Sie das Kabel mit der Hand abtrennen. So wird die Kartusche

perforiert. Das Aktivierungskabel und die Kartusche sollten aus MOTOAIRBAG® entfernt werden.

Folgende Teile können in den normalen Hausmüll:

• MOTOAIRBAG® ohne Kartusche und Aktivierungskabel

• Aktivierungskabel

• Perforierte Kartusche

Nicht perforierte Kartuschen sollten wie oben beschrieben perforiert werden oder entsorgt werden gemäß regionaler Entsorgungsbestimmungen bzw.

wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller-Service.

Eine andere Möglichkeit ist, MOTOAIRBAG® (mit allen Bestandteilen) zur Entsorgung zum Hersteller zu schicken..

MOTOAIRBAG® est étudié pour l’usage à moto sur routes réglementées par le Code de la Route

ZONE DE PROTECTION

MOTOAIRBAG® offre une protection au dos, à la zone cervicale et au sacrum

SIGNIFICATION DU MARQUAGE

Le marquage CE apposé sur la protection indique la conformité à les exigences de la Directive 89/686/CEE (et ses modifications ultérieures), y compris

les procédures de certification visées au chapitre II de la directive.

Il matérialise la conformité à tous les devoirs d'un fabricant en ce qui concerne le produit en conformité avec les directives communautaires prévoyant

son apposition.

Le marquage CE certifie que la personne qui a qualifié la protection a constaté que le produit est soumise à la procédure de Certification CE.

Compte tenu des risques dont elle protège, la Protection a fait l'objet de la procédure de certification CE auprès de l’ Organisme Notifié n° 0498

(RICOTEST Via Tione, 9 Pastrengo 37010 Vérone, Italie), qui a certifié la conformité avec les exigences de la directive européenne 89/686/CEE (et ses

modifications ultérieures) et avec les exigences de la norme EN1621/4:2013.

UTILIZZATION DE MOTOAIRBAG®

 Porter MOTOAIRBAG®, correctement inséré dans son vetement, comme dernier vêtement à endosser

 Toujours attacher la boucle antérieure de la ceinture

 Fixer la boucle avant de les bretelles (si présente)

 Pur model S11 - MAB v2.0c :Fermer gilet MOTOAIRBAG ® comme indiqué pag 32

 Régler le harnais de façon à ce qu’il soit adhérent au corps

 Serrer les ajustements latéraux de la partie textile, si ils sont présents

 Vérifier que la courroie avec anneau soit bien reliée à la moto

 Vérifier que la selle soit bien fixée à la moto

 Attacher le câble d’activation MOTOAIRBAG® à l’anneau de la courroie fixée à la moto avant de se mettre en mouvement

 Avec la moto arrêtée, avant de descendre, détacher le câble d’activation

MOTOAIRBAG® pourrait ne pas fonctionner correctement si les instructions ne sont pas suivies avec attention. En cas de doute, contacter le fabricant

ou le revendeur autorisé.

ENREGISTREMENT DU NUMERO DE SERIE

Les dispositifs airbag MOTOAIRBAG® sont assemblés et testés à 100%. Chaque dispositif contient un numéro de série qui doit être communiqué a a

D.P.I. Safety soit par la compilation et l’envoi de l’étiquette d’enregistrement présente sur tous les MOTOAIRBAG® soit en suivant la procédure

d'enregistrement sur le site www.motoairbag.com.

AVERTISSMENTS E LIMITES D’UTILISAZIOTN (texte en conformité avec EN 1621/4: 2013)

 Aucun dispositif de protection peut garantir une protection totale contre les blessures

 Le dispositif de protection pourrait ne pas garantir une protection en toute circonstance, par exemple

 Au moment du premier impact entre la moto et l’obstacle

 En cas d’accident sans séparation motocycliste – moto

 Le dispositif de protection est compatible avec les protections certifiées EN1621/1 et EN1621/2 si portées sous le dispositif de protection

 Toujours attacher la boucle antérieure. Si la boucle antérieure du harnais n’est pas fermée, le dispositif de protection pourrait ne pas rester dans la

position correcte durant le fonctionnement

 Ne pas modifier les éléments du dispositif pour ne pas compromettre son bon fonctionnement

 Le dispositif de protection ne fonctionne que si le câble d’activation est relié à la moto au moyen de l’anneau de la courroie.

 Attacher le câble d’activation seulement à l’anneau de la courroie en dotation et à aucun autre point.

 Ne rien porte au-dessus du dispositif de protection (par exemple sac à dos, imperméables, sacs, autres vêtements, etc..) qui puisse empêcher

l’ouverture de l’airbag protectif.

 Ne pas modifier les fixations qui assurent la fermeture des zones qui abritent le système airbag. Ne pas introduire éléments qui puissent empêcher

le mouvement de ces zones quand l’airbag entre en fonction.

 Le dispositif de protection ne protège que lorsqu’il est gonflé

 Le dispositif de protection ne fonctionne que si le câble d’activation è relié à la moto.

 Tenir éloigné le dispositif de protection d’objet tranchant ou pointus (exemples aiguilles, épingles, lames, etc..)

 Utiliser à température comprise entre 0°C e +45°C

 Tenir hors de portée des enfants

 Ne pas recharger MOTOAIRBAG® après un impact

 Ne pas utiliser MOTOAIRBAG® sans boutille ou avec la boutille percée

 Ne pas activer sans boutille

 Utiliser seulement pièces de rechange d’origine

 MOTOAIRBAG® peut être utilisé par le pilote et par le passager.

LE DISPOSITIF DE PROTECTION REPOND AUX CARACTERISITQUES DE PROTECTION SEULEMENT SI UTILISE CORRCTEMENT ET DANS

UN ETAT CORRECT DE CONSERVATION.

COMMENT RELIER MOTOAIRBAG® A LA MOTO

 A la première utilisation, monter la courroie avec l’anneau autour de la selle en suivant les instruction reportées sur les figures.

 Le point d’ancrage doit être crée derrière le motocycliste assis sur la selle de la moto. Dans le cas d’un passager utilisant MOTOAIRBAG® il

devra utiliser sa propre courroie qui doit être positionnée sur la selle derrière le passager assis

 A chaque utilisation, avant de partir, relier MOTOAIRBAG® à la moto en suivant les instructions reportées sur ce manuel

 Vérifier que la courroie avec anneau soit bien reliée à la moto

 Vérifier que la selle soit bien fixée à la moto

MOTOAIRBAG® pourrait ne pas fonctionner correctement si les instructions ne sont pas suivies avec attention. En cas de doute, contacter le fabricant

ou le revendeur autorisé.

CONTROLES PERIODIQUES

Effectuer fréquemment et à chaque utilisation les vérifications suivantes

 Vérifier que MOTOAIRBAG® ne présent pas de dommages ou de signe d’usure sur la partie textile

 Vérifier que MOTOAIRBAG® ne présent pas de dommages ou de signe d’usure sur la partie airbag

 Vérifier que le câble d’activation ne soit pas entaillé

 Vérifier qu’il n’y ait pas de traces de rouille/oxydation sur la boutille

 Vérifier que la boutille soit correctement vissée au générateur de gaz (vérifier seulement manuellement, sans utiliser d’outils)

 Vérifier que la courroie avec anneau montée sur la selle ne soit pas entaillée

 Vérifier que la courroie avec anneau soit bien reliée à la moto

 Vérifier que la selle soit bien fixée à la moto

 Vérifier que la fermeture qui permet l’accès au système airbag soit bien fermée

 Pur model S11 - MAB v2.0c: vérifier que le côté de fermeture Velcro. - Vérifiez que le câble d'activation de l'airbag avant est bien relié au câble

d'activation de l'airbag arrière

MOTOAIRBAG® pourrait ne pas fonctionner correctement si les instructions ne sont pas suivies avec attention.

Se un ou plusieurs contrôles relèvent une anomalie, ne pas utiliser MOTOAIRBAG® et contacter le fabricant ou le revendeur autorisé.

CHOIX DE LA TAILLE

Choisir la taille de MOTOAIRBAG® soit selon la distance taille-épaules ( “waist to shoulder” - visible sur l’étiquette de certification), soit selon la taille

spécifique du vêtement dans lequel le système airbag est positionné.

PRESENCE DE SUBSTANCES TOXIQUES

Comme requis par la norme EN1621/4:2013 et EN340: 2003, les matériaux utilisés pour réaliser les composants et l'ensemble du système

MOTOAIRBAG® ne contiennent pas de produits toxiques ou nocifs

STOCKAGE

 Placer MOTOAIRBAG® sec dans un endroit sec à température inférieur a 45°C

 Ne pas placer MOTOAIRBAG® dans des endroits soumis à source de chaleur (flamme libre, radiateurs, etc..)

 Tenir éloigné MOTOAIRBAG® d’objet tranchant

 Ne pas placer de poids sur MOTOAIRBAG®
