The new Motorola DRC450 is a full-featured, 4-in-1,
wireless infra-red, universal remote control designed
specifically for the Motorola DCT family of interactive
digital terminals. Brought to you by Motorola, the power-
house behind digital cable, this updated remote features
an ergonomic design, easy-to-find buttons and proven
reliability, making it a smart choice for you and your
subscribers. In addition to optimized control over current
Motorola Digital set-tops and backward compatibility
with Motorola’s earlier digital and advanced analog ter-
minals, the new expanded code library gives customers
control of even more peripheral components including
most TVs, VCRs, DVD/CD players, Personal Video
Recorders (PVRs), audio receivers and amplifiers.
And, for quick and easy installation, the DRC450 comes
elegantly boxed with a user guide and 2 (AA) alkaline
batteries.
CONSUMER-FRIENDLY DESIGN
On the outside, the Motorola DRC450 remote features
well-spaced, easy-to-identify buttons that are color coded
and grouped by function to make it easy and simple to
use. On the inside, we have updated and expanded our
already extensive library of codes to include codes for
DVD/CD players, PVRs, audio receivers and amplifiers.
All this functionality comes wrapped in a sleek, light-
weight design that continue to make Motorola’s
universal remotes a favorite among subscribers.
The Motorola DRC450 remote control supports direct
access channel tuning as well as popular digital cable
applications such as on-screen menus, program guides,
favorite channels, last channel recall, time-controlled
programming and parental control. Ordering Pay-Per-View
or Video on Demand programming is easy, therefore
