1) Usually refers to water
2) Flash point ≥65 °C, which means that it must be used under
strict supervision;
3) The over-temperature protection device can be composed of a
thermal oil sensor and a corresponding over-temperature protection
switch;
4) Defined by the manufacturer.
This instrument is used in Level III.
Introduction: Over-temperature electronic protection switch
The instrument is used as a device that provides low
temperature cold source/high temperature heat source. Both the high and
low temperatures are controlled by an intelligent controller. When the
temperature is too low (too high), the compressor (heater) will be
automatically stopped. The over-temperature switch can be adjusted
inside the control panel.
VI. Accidental processing steps
1 .Observe the alarm signal.
2. General alarm can be excluded according to the instrument
instructions.
3. Unplug the power immediately when a dangerous situation occurs.
4. Evacuation to a safe area to avoid injury.

5
VII. Environmental conditions
1. Indoor use only.
2. Use location: altitude is <2000 meters.
3. The maximum air humidity must not exceed 80% at 32℃.
4. Voltage is maintained at ±10% of rated value.
5. Cleaning level is 2.
6. Overvoltage level is 2
VIII. Operating conditions
(1) Whether it is air-cooled or water-cooled, the temperature control
device needs to be located in an operating environment with sufficient
ventilation air; the space is more than 30cm around.
(2) When selecting the heat conduction medium, it is necessary to pay
attention to whether the upper and lower limits of its temperature, the
ignition point, viscosity, freezing point etc. meet the requirements or not,
and whether it is suitable for the use of the internal pipeline of the
instrument;
(3) When selecting the transmission thermal medium pipeline, the length
should be as short as possible and the diameter should be appropriate. If
the diameter is too small, it may cause current limitation;
(4) Do not use water as a heat conduction medium;

6
(5) Unsuitable heat transfer media will negatively affect the
instrumentation and cause damage to the device. Therefore, only use the
manufacturer's specified thermal media and use within the specified
pressure range. The temperature can only be controlled below the boiling
point of the heat conduction medium, and the viscosity must not exceed
50 m2s when the heat conduction medium is operated at a low
temperature. Fill the heat conduction medium at room temperature. Fill
the heat conduction medium slowly. At the same time, ensure that no heat
conduction medium overflows. Protective equipment must be worn when
filling, such as anti-corrosion chemical gloves, goggles, etc.;
(6) The setting parameters to be reconfirmed after filling, which are the
requirements for correct operation and use of the instrument;
(7) Do not tie the heat conduction medium piping;
(8)Check the heat conduction medium tube regularly to prevent material
strain (e.g. fission).
IX. Location
Warning!
1. Ensure that the instrument is vertically upward when moving it;
2 The instrument needs to be in a horizontal plane and fixed;
3.Be put on a surface of a nonflammable object.
4 Keep the environment around the instrument clean and avoid slipping;

7
5 If the instrument is located on the BMX, the brake device must be
installed on the BMX;
6 Put some materials that can absorb heat conduction medium under the
instrument to prevent overflow or leakage of heat conduction medium;
7 If any heat conduction medium overflows, it must be cleaned;
X. Heat conduction medium
It is recommended to use the heat conduction oil recommended by
the manufacturer. The working capacity and viscosity of the heat
conduction oil which is within the temperature control range of the
equipment can meet the constant temperature process requirements of the
load equipment.
The viscosity of the heat conducting oil must not exceed 50mm2s at
the lowest temperature;
the maximum density of thermal oil cannot be greater than
1kg/dm3s23.
Chapter 2: Connecting Instruments and Equipment, Filling
Thermal Media, and Using
I. Connection of the power
Warning:
Before connecting, make sure that the supply voltage meets
the requirements in the instrument data sheet! If the damage

8
is caused by the incorrect voltage connection, our company is
not responsible for any liability!
Safety instructions:
Danger: Please connect the instrument to ground!
Warning: Do not move while the instrument is running
The phase sequence and open circuit protectors are
installed inside the three-phase electrical equipment. If
there is no power supply on the controller after power-on,
please replace any two fire lines until the indicators on the
phase sequence protector turn green. (If the indicator light
is flashing/unlit, it proves that there is failure of phase
sequence, phase interruption or phase sequence and open phase
protector fault)
If the voltage is 220V, what need to do is to distinguish
the zero line, fire line, and ground line (the red line is the
fire line, the blue line is the zero line and the yellow/black
line is the ground line.
II. The preparation for the start
All types of instruments and equipment must be vertical and
upwards to provide a stable and fixed device when moving,
ensuring that the thermostatic instrument will not tilt.

9
Ensure that there is enough flowing air on the ventilation
side of the circulation pump and compressor, and allow the
discharged heat to dissipate in time.
Check the tightness of the connecting pipe connection
between the peripheral system and the temperature control
system.
The diameter of the connection pipe nozzle: generally, use
the national standard pipeline thread interface, which can be
changed to other modes according to actual needs.
The instrument model is HD-30, and the inlet and outlet port
size is DN15.
A valve three way is installed at the inlet of the heat
conduction medium of the instrument and equipment to facilitate
the discharge of the heat conduction medium (the inlet end is
the bottom end of the whole device).
This machine is air-cooled; and the space of more than 70cm
around the equipment is used for heat dissipation.
III. To connect an external application
1. To connect a closed application (such as a reactor)
Remove the plugs that connect the outlet and inlet of the
heat conduction medium.
Ensure that the material and performance of the pipeline

10
match with the range of heat conduction oil and temperature.
In order to ensure the correct operation of the machine, it
must be ensured that no air bubbles are in the system, the
outlet is connected to the inlet of the reactor, and the inlet
is connected to the outlet of the reactor.
IX. To add heat conduction medium
Special note: when filling the heat conduction medium, the
heat conduction medium cannot be spilled on the cover plate;
the liquid spilled on the cover plate may cause the heat
conduction medium to penetrate the device electrical device,
which may cause the device to short circuit, electrical failure,
and control system failure; if the heat conduction medium is
explosive, it may cause combustion and explosion.
1. To connect high-low temperature cycle machine with reactor
(1).The connection between the high-low temperature cycle
machine and reactor must be made of stainless steel or other
metal pipes;
(2). To connect with the old-fashioned double glass
reactor: The main part is made of stainless steel bellows. It
is also possible to use thick-walled fluorine hose connections
(protective measures must be taken and fluorine hoses need to

11
be replaced regularly to ensure safe use).
(3). To connect with new-fashioned glass reactor: using
stainless steel bellows connection, and the connector adopts
detachable connection.
(4). The device connector is a consumable item and is not
covered by the warranty scope of the whole machine.
2. To fill the heat conduction fluid
a. Before adding the heat conduction fluid to the
equipment, connect the inlet of the heat conduction fluid for
the heating and cooling cycle with the inlet of the heat
conduction fluid at the upper end of the reactor using a
stainless steel corrugated pipe; connect the outlet of the heat
conduction fluid of the high- and low-temperature circulating
machine with the lower end of the reactor using stainless steel
bellows.
b. Turn on the upper exhaust valve above the high-low
temperature cycle machine and open the filling port.
c. Inject the heat conduction oil into the filling port
(at the first time, it can be added to the expansion liquid level
line); turn on the power; press the cycle button (the system
will automatically discharge air); interval 30S, close the
cycle button (during the exhaust process, adding the

12
heat-conducting media continuously until it is heard that there
is media returning to the adding tank at the system exhaust
valve).
d. After the whole circulation system has been filled with
the heat conduction medium (including the reactor), the liquid
level in the expansion tank is at the adding level (the
circulation system has basically eliminated air).
e. Turn off the exhaust valve, screw up the injection port
and turn on the Run button.
f. Set the temperature to 150℃ and continue exhausting.
(If there are a lot of bubbles during the heating process, turn
off the operation key and repeat step c).
V. To open the temperature control system control unit
When the main switch is turned on, the instrument performs
a preliminary test to detect all the functions of the
temperature control system, including the sensors and their
delay and so on. If an error occurs, the system cannot start
normally.
VI. Over temperature device
The over-temperature switch device has been input in the
internal program at the time of leaving the factory and cannot

13
be modified. When an over-temperature condition occurs, the
system will automatically cut off the operation. This function
does not work when filling the conduction media.
Warning:
Be sure to use the manufacturer's recommended oil.
VII. Liquid level indication
The instrument uses mechanical liquid level indication to
minimize the failure of the liquid level display fault.
Please take the corresponding measures. When the liquid
level is too low, you can add appropriate amount of heat
conduction oil. When it is too high, you can also discharge
appropriate amount of heat conduction oil.
VIII. To set the temperature
Custom temperature setting: enter the required temperature
in the TSP dialog box (about the program temperature setting,
see the specific instructions for the program).
IX. Temperature control
After filling the heat conduction medium and exhaust, you
can begin to control the temperature. Set the temperature and
press the start button to start temperature control. When the
temperature reaches the set value, the system will
automatically shut down; and when it is lower than the set value,

14
the system will automatically open. (About the program control,
see the control instructions)
