• Insertthetemperatureprobeandpressthepowerbutton,thereisnoparticularorder.
• Thescreenwilldisplaythecurrentmeasuredvalueandthemaximumtemperature(Donotpressanybuttonsexceptthe
PowerButton).
• Whenthemeasuredenvironmenttemperaturechanges,takeafewminutestostabilizereadings.
Tips:Aftermeasuringhightemperatures,donottouchtheprobeimmediately,toavoidburns.

• PressthePowerButtonforpowerON/OFF.
• PresstheTemperature Units (°C/°F/K)/BacklightButtontoswitchtemperatureunit,pressthebuttonfor2secondsto
openorclosebacklight.
• PresstheType J, K, T SwitchButtontoswitchJ,K,Tandchangetherelatedtemperatureprobe.
• PresstheMINButtontheLCDwillshow“MIN”iconandminmeasuredvalue.
• PresstheMAXButtontheLCDwillshow“MAX”iconandmaxmeasuredvalue.
• PresstheData Hold/EnterButtontofreezecurrentmeasuredtemperaturevalue,butMAXandMINvaluecouldn’tbe
frozen;Pressthebuttonagaintoreturntonormalmeasurementstation.
• PresstheCalibrationButtonfor3stocomeintousercalibrationmode,presstheUpButtonthetemperaturewilladd
0.1°C;PresstheDownButtonthetemperaturewilldecrease0.1°C;PresstheCalibrationButtontosaveitandreturnto
normal measurement mode.
Note:Thatthemaxvalueofaddinganddecreasingwillbe5°C,thesubsequentmeasurementswillbecombinedwiththe
calibratedvalue.

6.Replacement Battery
• Ifthelogo“ ”appearsontheLCDdisplay,thebatteryshouldbereplacedpromptly.
• Openthebatteryboxandremovetheoldbattery,putanewbattery(9voltbatteryNEDA1604or6F22orothersimilar
batteries).
• Ifthethermometerisnotusedforalongtime,pleasetakeoutthebatterytopreventliquidleakage.
