SELEZIONE - IMPOSTAZIONE - CONFERMA
Tutte le funzioni presenti sul dispositivo 40-TM si possono impostare o
modicare sempre con il medesimo procedimento riportato sulla targhetta
dell’apparecchio:
SEL FUNCTION: SEL+SET --> SEL --> SET
SEL VALUE: +/- --> SET
1 - Premere contemporaneamente SEL+SET per almeno 2 secondi
2 - Premere tasto SEL per scorrere i menu (vedi denizione simboli display
pag. 4)
3 - Premere tasto SET per entrare nel menu evidenziato sul display
4 - Premere +/- per impostare il valore desiderato
5 - Premere SET per confermare
INSERIMENTO MEMORY CARD
Nel momento in cui riceverete il vostro 40/TM la Memory card sarà già
installata e pronta all’ uso.
Nel caso in cui debba essere sostituita procedere come segue:
1 - Spegnere il riproduttore.
2 - Per rimuovere la Memory card premete no a quando non sentite lo
scatto di sgancio, a questo punto rilasciare la memoria che verrà espulsa
da sola.
3 - Inserite la Memory card con i contatti dorati rivolti verso il basso e pre-
mete no a quando sentirete lo scatto di aggancio. (vedi g. sotto)
Se la Memory card non viene inserita correttamente, viene visualizzato un
messaggio d’errore sul display, “Sd Er” .
Per prevenire danni e/o perdita di dati dalla memoria si raccomanda di non
rimuovere mai la scheda con il riproduttore in funzione.

ACCENSIONE/SPEGNIMENTO
Collegare i morsetti alla batteria esterna (non in dotazione) che deve avere
una tensione pari a 12 Volts rispettando la polarità corretta (Rosso=Positivo
- Nero=Negativo). Per accendere il riproduttore 40/TM premere il tasto ON/
OFF no a quando il display si illumina ed inizia la riproduzione. Per spe-
gnere il riproduttore premere il tasto ON/OFF. Nel caso sia impostato un
programma Timer, questo deve essere disabilitato prima di effettuare lo
spegnimento. Alla riaccensione, viene riprodotto l’ultimo canto selezionato
al volume precedentemente impostato.
L’apparecchio 40/TM è protetto contro l’inversione di polarità. Per
prevenire danni e/o perdita di dati dalla memoria si raccomanda di
spegnere prima il riproduttore come sopra descritto poi scollegare i
morsetti dalla batteria.
SELEZIONE CANTI
Il riproduttore 40/TM è in grado di riprodurre no a 8 canti. La selezione
del canto da riprodurre avviene tramite l’uso dei tasti freccia ( TRACK )
e visualizzato con il numero traccia corrispondente sul display di sinistra.
Dopo 20 sec. di inattività il riproduttore spegne il display ed entra in modali-
tà di risparmio energetico. Rimane acceso un solo segmento del display di
destra che a rotazione segnala il regolare funzionamento.
REGOLAZIONE VOLUME
L’indicazione del livello di volume impostato è visualizzato sul display di
destra (00 Min – 15 Max). La regolazione del volume avviene tramite i tasti
- +. Premere il tasto + per aumentare il volume, premere il tasto - per
diminuire il volume.
MENU IMPOSTAZIONI
IMPOSTAZIONE TIMER
L’apparecchio 40/TM è dotato di un timer programmabile che permette di
impostare accensione e spegnimento nell’arco delle 24 ore. Inoltre attivan-
do la funzione “rP - REPEAT” l programma verrà ripetuto anche nei giorni
successivi, sempre alla stessa ora, no a quando il riproduttore resterà
alimentato. Vedi rP - REPEAT a pag. 9. Quando il timer è attivo il seg-
mento centrale del display di sinistra lampeggia. Premendo un qualsiasi

tasto il riproduttore visualizza il tempo rimanente alla prossima accensione.
Quando il timer è attivo e il canto in riproduzione il segmento centrale del
display di sinistra è sso e il segmento del display di destra a rotazione se-
gnala il regolare funzionamento. La corretta procedura per l’impostazione
del timer è suddivisa in tre semplici passaggi: Accensione ritardata (calco-
lata partendo dall’ora attuale); Durata Funzionamento (tempo di lavoro);
Attivazione timer.
TD – TIME DELAY (ACCENSIONE RITARDATA)
1. Premere contemporaneamente i tasti SEL+SET, almeno 2 secondi, per
entrare nel MENU IMPOSTAZIONI.
2. Premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la
voce td.
3. Premere il tasto SET per poter impostare l’accensione ritardata. Preme-
re il tasto + per incrementare, a step di 15 minuti alla volta, il ritardo accen-
sione o premere il tasto – per diminuire il ritardo accensione.
4. Premere SET per confermare il ritardo accensione impostato.
5. Per uscire dal menu premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizza-
re, sul display, la voce EH (exit). Premere SET per confermare o aspettare
che il dissuasore torni automaticamente alla traccia in riproduzione dopo
10 sec.
TF – PLAY TIME (DURATA FUNZIONAMENTO)
1. Premere contemporaneamente i tasti SEL+SET, almeno 2 secondi, per
entrare nel MENU IMPOSTAZIONI.
2. Premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la
voce tf.
3. Premere il tasto SET per poter impostare la durata funzionamento. Pre-
mere il tasto + per incrementare, a step di 15 minuti alla volta, la durata

funzionamento o premere il tasto – per diminuire la durata funzionamento.
4. Premere SET per confermare la durata funzionamento.
5. Per uscire dal menu premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizza-
re, sul display, la voce EH (exit). Premere SET per confermare o aspettare
che il dissuasore torni automaticamente alla traccia in riproduzione dopo
10 sec.
Et – ENABLE TIMER (ATTIVA TIMER)
1. Premere contemporaneamente i tasti SEL+SET, almeno 2 secondi, per
entrare nel MENU IMPOSTAZIONI.
2. Premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la
voce Et.
3. Premere il tasto SET. Premere il tasto + e impostare il valore 1 per at-
tivare il timer.
4. Premere SET per confermare. Il timer si attiverà immediatamente.
Il riproduttore interrompe la riproduzione e il segmento centrale di sinistra

lampeggia a conferma dell’ attivazione del timer. Premere un qualsiasi
tasto per visualizzare il tempo rimanente alla prossima accensione.
Quando il Timer è attivo e in riproduzione il segmento centrale del display
di sinistra è sso e il segmento del display di destra è acceso a rotazione
ad indicare il normale funzionamento
Et – DISABLE TIMER (DISATTIVA TIMER)
Il timer può essere disabilitato in qualsiasi momento sia quando si è in
attesa dell’accensione e sia durante la riproduzione.
1. Accendere il display premendo qualsiasi tasto. Premere i tasti SEL+SET
per almeno 2 secondi. Il riproduttore entrerà direttamente nel menu Et.
2. Premere il tasto – e impostare il valore a 0.
3. Premere SET. Il riproduttore riprenderà immediatamente il normale fun-
zionamento disabilitando il timer precedentemente impostato
rP – REPEAT (RIPETI PROGRAMMA)
Attivando questa funzione, impostando il valore sul display a 1, il riprodutto-
re no a quando sarà alimentato ripeterà sempre lo stesso ciclo di accen-
sione e spegnimento all’ ora prestabilita anche nei giorni successivi.
1. Premere contemporaneamente i tasti SEL+SET, almeno 2 secondi, per
entrare nel MENU IMPOSTAZIONI.
2. Premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la
voce rP .
3. Premere il tasto SET. Impostare il valore 1 per attivare il repeat. Imposta-
re il valore 0 per disattivare il repeat.
4. Premere SET per confermare.
5. Per uscire dal menu premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizza-
re, sul display, la voce EH (exit). Premere SET per confermare o aspettare
che il dissuasore torni automaticamente alla traccia in riproduzione dopo
10 sec.

IMPOSTAZIONI GENERALI
SP – SPEAKERS SEL (SELEZIONE ALTOPARLANTE)
Tramite questo menu è possibile decidere, durante la riproduzione, qua-
le altoparlante attivare. Si può impostare il solo altoparlante interno, solo
quello esterno con esclusione dell’ unità interna o il funzionamento di en-
trambi nello stesso momento.
1. Premere contemporaneamente i tasti SEL+SET, almeno 2 secondi, per
entrare nel MENU IMPOSTAZIONI.
2. Premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la
voce SP.
3. Premere il tasto SET. Impostare il valore Iper attivare la sola unità in-
terna. Impostare il valore Eper attivare la sola unità esterna. Impostare
il valore EI per attivare entrambi gli altoparlanti.
4. Premere SET per confermare.
5. Per uscire dal menu premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizza-
re, sul display, la voce EH (exit). Premere SET per confermare o aspettare
che il dissuasore torni automaticamente alla traccia in riproduzione dopo
10 sec.
dL – DISPLAY ADJ (ILLUMINAZIONE DISPLAY)
Questa impostazione consente di modicare l’illuminazione del display dal
livello 1 (min) no al livello 9 (max).
1. Premere contemporaneamente i tasti SEL+SET, almeno 2 secondi, per
entrare nel MENU IMPOSTAZIONI.
2. Premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la
voce dL.

3. Premere il tasto SET. Impostare un valore da 1 (min) a 9 (max) serven-
dosi dei tasti +/-
4. Premere SET per confermare.
5. Premere ripetutamente il tasto SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la
voce EH (exit). Premere SET per confermare o aspettare che il dissuasore
torni automaticamente alla traccia in prodotto dopo 10 sec.
EH – EXIT (USCITA)
Selezionare EH per tornare al menu principale
1. Premere SEL no a visualizzare, sul display, la voce EH.
2. Premere SET per confermare.
RESET RIPRISTINO IMPOSTAZIONI DI FABBRICA
Premere il tasto SEL e tasto contemporanemente per almeno 3 sec.
per riportare il riproduttore alle impostazioni di fabbrica. L’avvenuto ripristi-
no è confermato dalla visualizzazione sul display del numero 88

SELECT - SET - CONFIRM
All functions present on the 40-TM can be set or modied using the proce-
dure indicated on the plate located on the device:
SEL FUNCTION: SEL+SET --> SEL --> SET
SEL VALUE: +/- --> SET
1. Press the select (SEL) and set (SET) buttons at the same time for at
least 2 seconds.
2. Press the select (SEL) button to scroll the menus (see display symbols
on page 4).
3. Press the set (SET) button to enter the highlighted menu on the display.
4. Press the plus/minus (+/-) buttons to set the desired value.
5. Press the set (SET) button to conrm.
INSERT MEMORY CARD
Your 40/TM comes with a memory card already installed and ready to use.
Should you need to replace it, proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the device.
2. To remove the memory card, press inwards on the card until you hear a
click, then release the card and it will pop out on its own.
3. Insert the new memory card with the gold-colored contacts facing
downwards and press inwards until you hear a click. (see gure below)
If the memory card is not inserted correctly, the display will show this error
message, “Sd Er” .
To avoid damages and/or memory data loss, never remove the card while
the device is on.

TURN DEVICE ON/OFF
Connect the clips to an external 12 Volt battery (not provided) respecting
the correct polarity (Red=Positive - Black=Negative). To turn on the 40/
TM player, press the ON/OFF button until the display lights up and it starts
to play. To turn off the player, press the ON/OFF button again. If a timer
program has been set, it must be disabled before turning off the device.
When the device is turned back on, the last song selected will play at the
previously set volume.
The 40/TM device is protected against polarity inversion. To avoid
damages and/or memory data loss, turn off the player as described
above, then disconnect the clips from the battery.
SELECT SONGS
The 40/TM device can play up to 8 songs. Use the arrow ( TRACK )
buttons to select the desired song to be played. The track number will be
shown in the left display. After 20 seconds of inactivity, the player will turn
off the display and enter energy-saving mode. Only one segment of the
right display will remain on to indicate that the device is functioning nor-
mally.
ADJUST SOUND VOLUME
The sound volume level that has been set will be indicated on the right di-
splay (Min 00 – Max 15). Use the increase/decrease volume - + buttons
to adjust the volume. Press the plus (+) button to increase the volume,
press the minus (-) button to decrease volume.
SET MENU
SET TIMER
The 40/TM player has a programmable timer that allows the device to be
turned on and off in a 24-hour period. Moreover, when the repeat “rP - RE-
PEAT” function is enabled, the program will be repeated at the same time
every day for as long as the player has power. See section rP - REPEAT
on page 9 for more details. When the timer is enabled, the center segment
of the left display will ash. Press any button to see the time remaining until
the next delayed start of the device. When the timer is enabled and a song
is playing, the center segment of the left display will glow and the segment
of the right display will alternate indicating that the device is functioning nor-

mally. The correct procedure for setting the timer has three simple steps:
Delayed start (calculated from the current time); Play time; Enable timer.
TD – TIME DELAY
1. Press the select (SEL) and set (SET) buttons at the same time for at
least 2 seconds to enter the SETTINGS MENU.
2. Press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the time delay td symbol
appears on the display.
3. Press the set (SET) button to set the time delay. Press the plus (+) button
to increase the time delay by intervals of 15 minutes or press the minus (-)
button to decrease the time delay.
4. Press the set (SET) button to conrm.
5. To exit the menu, press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the exit
EH symbol appears on the display. Press the set (SET) button to conrm
or wait until the device returns automatically to the track that was playing
after 10 seconds.
TF – PLAY TIME
1. Press the select (SEL) and set (SET) buttons at the same time for at
least 2 seconds to enter the SETTINGS MENU.
2. Press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the play time tf symbol
appears on the display.
3. Press the set (SET) button to set the play time. Press the plus (+) button
to increase the play time by intervals of 15 minutes or press the minus (-)
button to decrease the play time.
4. Press the set (SET) button to conrm.
5. To exit the menu, press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the exit
EH symbol appears on the display. Press the set (SET) button to conrm

or wait until the device returns automatically to the track that was playing
after 10 seconds.
Et – ENABLE TIMER
1. Press the select (SEL) and set (SET) buttons at the same time for at
least 2 seconds to enter the SETTINGS MENU.
2. Press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the enable timer Etsymbol
appears on the display.
3. Press the set (SET) button. Press the plus (+) button to input the value
“1” to enable the timer.
4. Press the set (SET) button to conrm. The timer will be enabled imme-
diately.
The device will stop playing and the center segment of the left display will
ash to conrm that the timer is enabled. Press any button to see the time
remaining until the next delayed start of the device. When the device is
playing and the timer is enabled, the center segment of the left display will
glow and the right display segment will alternate indicating that the device
is functioning normally.

Et – DISABLE TIMER
The timer can be disabled at any time even when waiting for the device to
start or during playing.
1. Turn on the display by pressing any button. Press the select (SEL) and
set (SET) buttons at the same time for at least 2 seconds. The player will
automatically enter the enable timer Et menu.
2. Press the button and input the value 0.
3. Press the set (SET) button to conrm. The device will immediately begin
functioning normally and the timer will be disabled.
rP – REPEAT
To repeat the same on/off cycle at the same time, enable this function and
set the value on the display to .1,The player will repeat the cycle every day
as long as it has power.
1. Press the select (SEL) and set (SET) buttons at the same time for at
least 2 seconds to enter the SETTINGS MENU.
2. Press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the repeat rP .
symbol appears on the display.
3. Press the set (SET) button. Input the value “1” to enable the repeat cycle.
Input the value 0 to disable the repeat cycle.
4. Press the set (SET) button to conrm.
5. To exit the menu, press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the exit
EH. symbol appears on the display. Press the set (SET) button to conrm
or wait until the device returns automatically to the track that was playing
after 10 seconds.

GENERAL SETTINGS
SP – SELECT SPEAKERS
While playing songs, use this menu to select and enable speakers. The three
options are: only the internal speaker, only an external speaker or both spea-
kers at the same time.
1. Press the select (SEL) and set (SET) buttons at the same time for at least 2
seconds to enter the SETTINGS MENU.
2. Press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the select speakers SP.
symbol appears on the display.
3. Press the set (SET) button. Input the value I to enable the internal spe-
aker only. Input the value E to enable the external speaker only. Input the
value EI to enable both speakers.
4. Press the set (SET) button to conrm.
5. To exit the menu, press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the exit EH
symbol appears on the display. Press the set (SET) button to conrm or wait
until the device returns automatically to the track that was playing after 10
seconds.
dL – ADJUST DISPLAY LIGHT
Use this setting to change the brightness of the display light from a minimum
level of 1 to a maximum level of 9.
1. Press the select (SEL) and set (SET) buttons at the same time for at least 2
seconds to enter the SETTINGS MENU.
2. Press the select (SEL) button repeatedly until the display light dL. symbol
appears on the display.
3. Press the set (SET) button. Use the plus/minus (+/-) buttons to input the
desired value from 1 to 9.
4. Press the set (SET) button to conrm.
