Getting started with UWB module(2AB) EVB
1. Hardware setup
1) Connect power supply cable to power interface of EVB referring to page 4~7.
2) Connect EVB to PC via USB interface.
Note: Micro USB connector J6 is used for nRF52840 USB interface communication. Micro
USB connector J14 is used for nRF52840 UART interface communication. Which USB
connector will be used depends on the FW.
For test FW, J14 is used.
For TWR demo FW, J6 is used.
3) Connect EVB to test equipment or antenna via SMA connector.
3. Power on EVB and check if the COM port appeared on Device Manager.
Example: J6 is connected(TWR demo FW )Example: J14 is connected(test FW)
2. Download COM port driver and install it.

Getting started with UWB module(2AB) EVB
For the AT command, please refer to the software documents.
For test FW, please refer to document:
“Type2AB_TEST_Firmware_Specification.pdf”
For TWR demo FW, please refer to document:
“S10223-QSG-Type2AB TWR Demo Quick Start Guide.pdf”
Note: If customer develop their own FW, please refer to page8~9 for the
nRF52840 PIN configuration.
4. Open Serial port tool on PC. Set the serial parameter as below.
Baud rate = 115200,
Data = 8,
Parity = None,
Stop = 1
Flow control = None
Then you can test TX/RX by sending AT command.
