General care
1. The thermometer should only be used under the supervision of an adult.
2. Do not walk, run or talk during temperature taking.
3. Storetheunitintheprotecvecasewhennotinuse.
4. Do not store the unit where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, dust or humidity.
Avoid extreme temperatures.
5. Droppingorsubjecngyourthermometertostrongshocksshouldbeavoided.
6. Donotaempttodisassembletheunit,excepttoreplacethebaery.
Replacing the baery
Thebaeryinyourdigitalthermometerneedstobereplacedwhen“T”appearsinthe
lowerrightcornerofthedisplay.Replacethebaerywitha1.55V,LR41alkalineorSR41
silver oxide type or equivalent.
• To replace the baery,
Pullthebaerycoverawayfromtheunit.
Useanon-metalpointedtooltoremovethebaeryandinsertthenewbaerywith
theposive(+)sidefacingup.
Carefullyslidethebaerycoverbackintoplace.
Note:Pleaseproperlyreplacethebaeryawayfromsmallchildrenandheat.
Cleaning instrucons
Beforeandaereachuse,cleanthethermometerwithasoclothandisopropylalcohol
dilutedwithwater,orwashwithCOLDsoapywater.Theunitcanbesubmersedinwater
oralcohol.Donotsoakforanextendedperiodofmeorsterilizebyboilingmethod,gas
or steam autoclaves.
