1. Remove the protective cap.
2. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and wipe it with filter paper.
3. Turn the pH meter on by pressing the ON/OFF key.
4. Immerse the electrode in pH 6.86 standard buffer solution. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
5. Press the CAL key until 6.86 starts flashing.
6. Wait until 6.86 stops flashing.
7. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and wipe it with filter paper.
8. Immerse the electrode in pH 4.00 standard buffer solution. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
9. Press the CAL key until 4.00 starts flashing.
10. Wait until 4.00 stops flashing.
11. Turn off the instrument by pressing the ON/OFF key.
12. Clean the electrode with distilled water and wipe it with filter paper.
13. Place the protective cap.
Note: If your test solution is known to be above pH 7,
calibrate using 6.86 and 9.18 standard buffer solutions.

3. Turn the pH meter on by pressing the ON/OFF key.
4. Immerse the electrode in the sample to be tested. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
5. Turn off the instrument by pressing the ON/OFF key.
6. Clean the electrode with distilled water and wipe it with filter paper.
7. Place the protective cap.
