Safety Instrucons
Your electric grass trimmer should always be used in accordance with this manual.
This device is intended solely for mowing grass in private gardens. Any other use not expressly permied in these instrucons may result in damage and may
pose a serious hazard to the user and is not permied.
In parcular, the unit must never be used :
- On steep land,
- On a rainy day or in a humid environment,
- From intensively,
- For children under 16,
- For unaccompanied minors.

Before using
- Study this manual thoroughly
- Familiarize yourself with the operaon of the grass trimmer and learn to use it properly
- Never allow others (especially children) who have not read the manual to use the machine.
- If the unit must be given to other people, give them as this manual.
- Never remove the labels or security elements
- Do not use the grass trimmer if the trigger on / o does not work properly. If necessary, contact your dealer for any repair.
- Check the condion of the adjustable handle and the spool wire, make sure the xing parts are safe before each use. Replace them If worn or missing.
- Do not cut near other electrical machines.
- Never expose the electric grass trimmer to rain or moisture. Never allow water or other liquids enter the machine.
- Do not operate grass trimmer in an environment with ammable items such as liquids, gases or dust. The sparks generated by the operaon of the machine
can cause an explosion.
- Check that the voltage and frequency indicated on the specicaon label axed to the electrical grass trimmer correspond to the mains electricity supply.
- To connect the grass trimmer to the power, use only appropriate and compliant power equipment in perfect condion. Use a exible extension, brightly
coloured for outdoor use with a maximum length of y meters with conductors of at least 12mm
- Keep the cord away from the radius of acon of the machine and make sure it is not subjected to tension. Move the cable from water, heat and sharp edges.
- Do not start cung unl the work area is cleared and cleaned. Keep the work area clean and dy to reduce the risk of accident.
- Check the ground and remove the lawn glass, stone, wood, plasc, scrap metal, branches and other debris that may be thrown by the cung edge wire and
damage the cung system.
- During the rst use, it is recommended that the user be accompanied by an experienced person.
- This grass trimmer is intended solely for trimming lawn edges and small grassed surfaces in private gardens. Any other use not permied in this manual use

When using
- Use the trimmer only in daylight or good arcial light.

- Do not use the machine if you are red or ill. Also avoid use if you have consumed alcohol or taken drugs. A moment of inaenon can result in serious
injury.
- When using, keep the hair away from the machine. Never wear loose clothing or accessories such as e, cord, scarf or jewellery that could get caught in the
machine or in the cung system such as neck es, scarves or jewellery.
- Wear close-ng clothing, convenient and protect you from cuts. Always wear long pants, sturdy and non-slip shoes, and protecve equipment such as
gloves, goggles, a helmet with a visor and acousc shield, etc.
- Do not allow anyone to remain in the range of the electric grass trimmer during use.
Keep people, children and animals away from work area. If it is a group work, keep sucient distance between people.
- Make sure that the handles are clean and dry. When the machine is running, always rmly grip the front handle with your le hand and the rear handle
with your right hand.
- Always work in a stable balanced and rm posion. Do not work on slippery or unstable ground. Firmly hold the grass waist with both hands. Put yourself in
a posion that allows you to withstand the forces applied by a backlash. Never let go of the machine.
- Always begin cung with the tool when it is on.
- When trimming, avoid obstacles such as fences, branches, stakes that can not be cut and that may damage the cung system.
- Never operate a damaged machine repaired poorly, poorly ed or changed arbitrarily.
- Do not overload the machine. Always use the proper equipment for the job.
- Hold the string head below the deector. Hold the device in its normal operang posion to posion “stands edge” or parallel to the lawn to cut.
- Never install pieces metal cung.
- Always keep hands and feet away from the cung tool, especially when the machine is running.

Aer using

- Keep the electric grass trimmer clean and keep it always disconnected in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of Children.
- Keep this manual carefully and consult it whenever you use the machine.

Instrucons for use
Unauthorized modicaon can make dangerous machine and lead to severe injury during use. The manufacturer disclaims any liability in case of misuse or
failure to comply with the instrucons and / or regulaons in force.
Prepare the grass trimmer
CAUTION: Do not plug the machine to the power supply unl you fully assembled and set the machine.
Assembly the grass trimmer
- Unpack the unit carefully and make sure the cleanliness, the presence and condion of all parts. If in doubt, contact your dealer.
- Install the handle using the four screws provided.
- Adjust the front handle as shown in Fig 1 and Fig 2.
- Adjust the height of the telescopic tube as shown in g 3.

Using the grass trimmer
Before using, always check the presence and correct operaon of safety devices. Also 0check the status of the cung system and its aachment. If necessary,
replace or repair defecve components. Use only original parts or approved by Nakayama.
WARNING: Never work with a power cord damaged or excessively worn because you might hurt yourself.
Starng the grass trimmer
- Fully unroll the power cord.
- Use cable hook on the upper handle to hang the cord to the machine Fig 4
- When cung, make sure the extension cord is always behind you, on the side cut already.
- Hold the grass trimmer with both hands, the protecon guard parallel to the oor and the unit close to the body
without placing the product on the oor.
- Press the buon on trigger with thumb, pull the trigger by holding ghtly to start the machine.

Stop the grass trimmer
- Release the trigger switch to stop the machine
- The machine stops completely aer a few seconds.
- Unplug the power socket for safety
Adjustment of cung
Do the adjustment of the cung when machine is stopped, unplugged.
Press the black buon release spool as illustrated g 5 while pulling both wire on each side of the spool simultaneous-
ly. Repeat several mes if necessary to have a length of the radius of the protecon guard.
