Descripon of symbols
Safety instrucons
Symbols are used in this manual to aract your aenon to possible risks. The safety symbols and the explicaons which accompany them must be perfectly
understood. The warning themselves do not prevent the risks and can not be a substute for proper methods of avoiding accidents.
This symbol, before a safety comment, indicates a precauon, a warning or a danger. Ignoring this warning can lead to an accident for yourself or for
others. To limit the risk of injury, re or electrocuon always apply the recommendaons indicated.
Before any use, refer to the corresponding paragraph in the present manual. Read the
instrucon handbook and follow all warnings and safety instrucons.

The exhaust and other parts of the engine will get very hot
during use, do not touch.
Gasoline is very ammable. Avoid smoking or bringing any
ame or sparks near fuel.

protecon when using the device.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
1) Training
- Read the instrucons carefully. Be familiar with the controls and the proper use of the appliance.
- This product has been designed for use in cung grass, and it should never be used for any other purpose.
- Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instrucons to use the appliance. Local regulaons may restrict the age of the operator.
- Never mow while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
- The operator or user is responsible for accidents of hazards occurring to other people or their property.
- Avoid running the engine indoors. The exhaust gases contain harmful carbon monoxide.
2) Preparaon
- While cung, always wear substanal footwear and long trousers.
- Do not operate the appliance when barefoot or wearing open sandals.
- Thoroughly inspect the area where the appliance is to be used and remove all stones, scks, wires, bones, and other foreign objects.
- Before using, always visually inspect to see that the blades, blade bolts and cuer assembly are not worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged blades and
bolts in sets to preserve balance.
- On mul-bladed appliances, take care as rotang one blade can cause other blades to rotate.
3) Operaon
- Operate only in daylight or in good arcial light.
- Avoid operang the appliance in wet grass, where feasible.
- Always be sure of your foong on slopes.
- Walk, never run.
- Exercise extreme cauon when changing direcon on slopes.
- Do not cung excessively steep slopes.
- Use extreme cauon when reversing or pulling the appliance towards you.

- In this case, do not lt it more than absolutely necessary and li only the part which is away from the operator. Always ensure that both hands are in the
operang posion before returning the appliance to the ground.
- Do not put hands or feet near or under rotang parts.
- Never pick up or carry an appliance while the motor is running.
4) Maintenance and storage
- Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws ght to be sure the appliance is in safe working condion.
- Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or deterioraon.
- Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
For rotary mowers, ensure that only replacement cung means of the right type are used.
- Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes can reach an open ame or spark;
- Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure;
- To reduce the re hazard, keep the engine, silencer and petrol storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive grease;
- If the fuel tank has to be drained, this should be done outdoors.
1. Grip the handles of the brush cuer rmly with both hands. If you suspend the work, Place the throle into the idling posion.
2. Always be sure to maintain a steady, even posture while working.
3. Maintain the speed of the engine at the level required to perform cung work and never raise the speed of the engine above the level necessary.
4. If grass gets caught in the blade during operaon , or if you need to check the unit of refuel the tank always be sure to turn o the engine.
5. If the blade touches a hard object like a stone immediately stop the engine and check it something is wrong with the blade. If so,replace the blade by new
one.
6. If someone calls out while working , always be sure to turn o the engine before turning around.
7. Never touch the spark plug or plug cord while the engine is in operaon .Doing so may result in being subjected to an electrical shock .
8. Never touch the muer ,spark plug or other metallic parts of the engine while the engine is in operaon or immediately aer shung down the engine.
Doing so may result in serious burns .
9. When you nish cung in one locaon and wish to connue work in another spot, turn o the engine and turn the unl as the blade faces away from your
body.
10. Check the cung aachment stop turning under the engine idle before start to use the machine.

This brush cuer has been designed for cung grass. Any other use is not permied.
The brush cuer is suitable for private use in the garden only, brush cuer for private use are those which are used for cung grass in the garden, however not
for cung grass in public parks, playing elds or on farms or in forest.
Non-permied users:
Persons who are not familiar with the operang manual, children, young people under the age of 16 as well as persons under the inuence of alcohol, drugs
or medicaon must not operate the unit.
Working hours for gasoline brush cuers.
While it is permied to use a brush cuer at any me, operators should always show due consideraon to others living nearby.
1. Connecng the aluminum sha to the motor (pictures 1 and 2).
1.1 Align the four screw holes on the sha reducer and on the side of the four brush cuer motor housing screw hole and insert the screws into the hex
wrench holes (as shown in pictures 1 and 2).
2. Installing the handle (pictures 3 - 6).
2.1 Remove the staple handle and staple plate.
2.2 Place the handle sha on the bracket handle, then clamp plate and staple handle back on the handle sha and ghten the staple handle so that rmly
secure the handle.
3. Installing the plasc cover (pictures 7 and 8).
3.1 Align the two screw holes on the board with the screw holes on the plasc board.
3.2 Insert the two combinaon screws into the screw holes and ghten them securely with the Allen key shut, then nish the installaon.
4. Assembling the cung head.
4.1 Release the nut (pictures 9 and 10). Line up the two holes of ange and shield, use one screw driver to hold the ange as below and turn the socket
wrench clockwise, the nut will be released.

4.2 Fit the Nylon cung head (pictures 11 and 12). Remove another shield aer release the nut. Sll hold the ange, take the Nylon cung head on the sha
and rotate counter-clockwise, the Nylon cung head is ed.
4.3 Release the Nylon cung head (pictures 11 and 12). Use screw driver to hold ange and then rotate the Nylon cung head clockwise, it will be replaced.
4.5 Release blade (pictures 13 - 19). Use screw driver to hold ange and release nut, the blade can be took o.
Warning!
Please make sure the cung head has been assembled correctly before
use!
Note: The packaging material is made of recycle materials. Dispose of
packaging materials in accordance with regulaons.
Danger of injury! Fuel is explosive!
DANGER! - Turn o and cool the motor down before lling
the tank with fuel.
- You must observe all safety instrucons relang to handing
fuel.
Warning! Take care of the emission of exhaust gases.
Always shut o engine before fueling. Never add fuel to a
machine with a running or hot engine. Take care of re!
Risk of device damage!
The device is supplied without motor or gearbox oil.
ATTENTION! Before operang, you must ll it with fuel.
Filling up with fuel | Draining fuel
Never use oil for 4-cycle engine use or water cooled 2-cycle engine. It can cause spark plug fouling exhaust port blocking or piston ring scking.
Mixed fuels, which have been le unused for a period of one month or more may clog the carburetor or result in the engine failing to operate properly.
Put remained fuel into an airght container and keep it in the dark and cool room.
Recommended mixing rao:
Use a special type 2-cycle engine oil (30ml of oil for each 1 litre of unleaded gasoline 94 octanes or higher).
– Unscrew the tank cap and remove it.
– Pour in the fuel carefully. Avoid spilling!
– Screw the tank cap on rmly by hand.
Draining fuel
– Hold a collecon container beneath the fuel
drain bolt (not included on all models).
– Unscrew the tank cap and remove it.

Danger of injury!
Do not operate the device unless you did not nd any faults.
If a part has became defecve, make sure to replace it before
you use the device again.
Danger of injury!
Before starng work, always check the ground and remove all
objects which could be thrown by the device.
Operaon
Starng and stopping the engine.
Do not start the unit unl it has been completely assembled. Before switching on the unit, always checking the oil.
Check before use!
– Check the device for leaks.
– Check the device for visual defects.
– Check that all parts of the device have been securely ed.
– Check that all safety devices are in proper condion.
Once the machine has been set up properly, start the engine as follow:
1. Press the fuel pump more than 5 mes. 2. Turn the engine switch to the ON posion.
3. Put the choke lever on the OFF posion 4. Pull the recoil starter handle to start the engine,
as following picture.
5. Wait a while adjust the choke lever to ON posion.

When the engine has been switched o, the cuer connues
running for several seconds therefore do not stand close to
cung head of brush cuer unl the cuer has come to a
standsll!
Maintenance
6. When the engine is running and idling. The throle lever on handle is as above picture. First press the lock o lever and then switch the
throle lever on, the machine will be working.
7. If use Nylon cuer, before cung, need
bump to feed line on hardness area
8. If meet any problems, press the engine
switch, the machine will stop running. If need
stop cung head working, release the throle
lever.
9. If the machine is hot, the choke lever can be
adjusted to ON posion directly when re start
the machine.
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning work, Always turn o the engine.
1. Do not spray the unit with water. Ingress of water may damage the engine and electrical connecon.
2. Clean the unit with a cloth, hand brush, etc.

Expert inspecon is required:
a) If the brush cuer strikes an object.
b) If the motor stops suddenly
c) If the blade is bent (do not align!)
d) If the gears are damaged.
Replacing and resharpening the cung blade at the end of the mowing season always resharpen the cung blade or, if required, replace the cung blade
with a new one. Always have the cung blade resharpened or replaced by a Service center (measurement of imbalance).

Unbalanced blades will cause the lawn mower to vibrate violently-risk of accident !
Change and clean the spark plug
1) Once the engine has cooled, remove the spark plug using the socket spanner supplied.
2) Clean the plug with a wire brush.
3) Using a feeler gauge; set the gap to 0.6-0.7 mm.
4) Install the spark plug carefully by hand, to avoid cross-threading.
5) Aer the spark plug is seated, ghten with spanner to compress the washer.
Clean the air lter
Unclip the air lter cover and remove the sponge lter element. To avoid objects falling into the air tank, replace the air lter cover. Wash the lter element
in warm soap water, rinse and allow drying naturally.
Warning! Never run the engine without the air lter element installed.
Storing the unit
Aer cung, clean the unit thoroughly. Store the unit in a dry room allow the motor to cool down beforehand.
Troubleshoong
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning work, always turn o the engine and wait unl the cuer has come to a standsll
1) Engine does not run:
- Check if there is fuel in the fuel tank.
- Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON posion.
- Make sure the spark plug cable is in posion.
2) Engine power drops:
- Have cung blade resharpened /replaced (customer service center)
3) if the temperature of machines is too high :
- Insure the machines have rest at regular me.
Faults that cannot be repaired with the help of the above instrucons can only be repaired by an authorised service department.
