LOGS MUST BE PLACED IN THEIR EXACT LOCATION IN THE APPLIANCE. DO NOT MODIFY THE
PROPER LOG POSITIONS, SINCE APPLIANCE MAY NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY AND DELAYED
IGNITION MAY OCCUR.
THE LOGS ARE FRAGILE AND SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH CARE.

PHAZERTM logs and glowing embers exclusive to Napoleon® Appliances, provide a unique and realistic glow-
ing effect that is different in every installation.
Log colours may vary. During the initial use of the appliance, the colours will become more uniform as colour
pigments burn in during the heat activated curing process.
1. Remove and discard all glass media.
2. Remove and discard the far left screw behind the burner ports.
3. Install a total of 7 screws and spacers into the locations as shown.
4. Spread sand evenly on the media tray taking care not to spill it into the combustion air slots or on
the burner port.

5. Place log #1 as shown onto the corresponding
posts on the media tray.
6. Place log #2 peg into the hole on log #1 as
shown, and onto the corresponding post on the
media tray.
7. Place log #3 onto the corresponding post on the
media tray and lean the tapered end of the log
into the groove in log #1.
8. Place log #4 on the media try as shown and line
up the square hole to the peg on log #1.
9. Place log #5 as shown onto the corresponding
posts on the media tray.
10. Place log #8 as shown onto the corresponding
post and lean against the left side of the firebox.
11. Place the rocks (if desired) randomly taking care
not to cover the burner flame or the combustion
air slots.

LES BÛCHES SONT FRAGILES ET DEVRAIENT ÊTRE MANIPULÉES AVEC SOIN.

Fentes d’air comburant

Les bûches PHAZERTM et les braises incandescentes, exclusives aux appareils NAPOLÉON®, créent un effet
incandescent réaliste et unique qui est différent dans chaque installation. Prenez le temps de bien installer les
braises incandescentes pour obtenir le meilleur effet possible.
La couleur des bûches peut varier. Lors de l’utilisation initiale de l'appareil, les couleurs deviendront plus
uniformes à mesure que leurs pigments seront absorbés pendant le procédé de cuisson.
1. Retirez les braises vitrifiées puis jetez-les.
2. Retirez la vis à l’extrême gauche derrière les orifices du brûleur puis jetez-la.
3. Installez un total de 7 vis et espaceurs aux emplacements illustrés.
4. Répandez le sable uniformément sur le plateau à braises en prenant soin de ne pas en renverser
dans les fentes d’air comburant ni sur les orifices du brûleur.

5. Placez la bûche #1 comme illustré sur les vis/
espaceurs correspondants sur le plateau à
braises.
6. Placez la tige de la bûche #2 dans le trou de
la bûche #1 comme illustré puis sur la vis/
espaceur correspondant sur le plateau à
braises.
7. Placez la bûche #3 sur la vis/espaceur corre-
spondant sur le plateau à braises puis appuyez
la petite extrémité dans la rainure de la bûche
#1.
8. Placez la bûche #4 sur le plateau à braises
comme illustré puis alignez le trou carré avec la
tige sur la bûche #1.
9. Placez la bûche #5 comme illustré sur les vis/
espaceurs correspondants sur le plateau à
braises.
10. Placez la bûche #8 comme illustré sur la vis/
espaceur correspondant et appuyez-la contre le
côté gauche de la chambre de combustion.
11. Placez les roches (s’il y a lieu) de façon
aléatoire en prenant soin de ne pas couvrir la
flamme ni les fentes d’air comburant.
