misuse can result in a hazard. You can compromise the safety protec on built into the product

Electromagne c Compa bility Guidelines
This product was tested and complies with the regulatory requirements and limits for electromag-
ne c compa bility (EMC). These requirements and limits provide reasonable protec on against
harmful interference when the product is operated in the intended opera onal electromagne c
environment.
This product is intended for use in industrial loca ons. However, harmful interference may occur in
some installa ons, when the product is connected to a peripheral device or test object, or if the
product is used in residen al or commercial areas. To minimize interference with radio and television
recep on and prevent unacceptable performance degrada on, install and use this product in strict
accordance with the instruc ons in the product documenta on.
Furthermore, any changes or modifica ons to the product not expressly approved by SET GmbH
could void your authority to operate it under your local regulatory rules.

Descrip on
The carrier card of the SET-1415 Modular Input Card off er slots for eight func on / measuring mo-
dules of the SET “SMARTbrick” or “AEROspice” series. The SET-1415 serving diff erent applica ons
like simple signal rou ng and condi oning up to complex signal simula on via the “SMARTbrick” or
“AEROspice” modules. The slots provide power to the modules and connect the individual modules
to the carrier modules Inter-Modul-Bus. The modular card 1415 communicates with the higher-level
test system.

Note You can configure the power-on configura on in the so ware. The factory default pow-
er-on configura on sets the front I/O channels to sinking input and rear I/O channels to
input.
