1 Introduction
The Nista Device's IP Door Phones are standalone SIP phones, which maximize functionality of the VoIP network.
Integrated into SIP Proxy as extension IP Door Phone allows voice and video communication and doors control within
an enterprise multiple branches, which is operated under single IP network. An integrated IP video camera allows
users to manage a high quality SIP video call.

2 Product Overview
Nista Devices IP Door phones IP39-60 family are smart, surface mounted access control devices connected to the
Nista Devices IP platform allowing door entry control. They are designed for both indoor and outdoor use and are
constructed in an aluminum case with piezo and touch keypads.

1. In case if POE powering is not available it is possible to use the External Power Adapter (not supplied).
External Power Adapter shall correspond to following technical parameters:
•Input: 100 –240 V AC
•Output: 5VDC; 2A
2. 5VDC Power Adapter shall be connected to IP Door Phone in accordance with the required polarity:
5VDC and GND, see Error! Reference source not found. )
3. The External Power Supply does not included in standard IP39-60 package
Usage the incorrect External Power Adapter can damage the door phone

5 IP Door Phone main functionality.
•The IP Door Phone unit can be integrated with IP PBX (Server / SIP-Proxy) as a SIP extension.
IP Door Phone can be connected to IP PBX directly or via IP router, HUB or Switch.
•The unit dials to predefined ‘Day’ and ‘Night’ extensions via IP PBX.
•The unit dials to local extensions or external destinations.
•The unit dials pre-programmed destinations using Speed Dial directory.
•The unit opens doors from local extension or remote conversation party.
•The unit opens doors using External Switch buttons.
•The unit includes user’s database and opens doors by using RFID tokens or NFC tags
•The unit management is handled by Web Management interface.

6 Installation
6.1 Mounting
The Door phone shall be mounted on the wall or into the wall using the rear metal installation rack provided with the
unit.
1. Unscrew the secret Torx t-6 screws on the bottom part of the unit.

2. Slide up the front panel and pull out

5. Put IP39-60 unit into installation bracket, close the case and lock with the provided Torx-6 screw.

6.2 IP 39-60 Connections
The IP Door Phone can be installed as standalone access control device.
Figure 6-1 shows the terminal locations on the wire connectors provided with the unit. This connector is then inserted
into the mating connector located at the base of the internal PCB. All wiring to the unit shall be attached to the wire
connector.
The Ethernet RJ-45 socket is for the LAN network cable and PoE connection.
The wiring connector has screw connector type terminals. In order to attach a wire, you must insert the stripped end of
the wire into the appropriate wiring connector socket and tighten the terminal screw. This will bring together the wire
connection.
To avoid damage to the IP Door Phone, the external power supply ( if used )
or POE Ethernet should be disconnected from mains prior to connecting
wires to the Door Phone unit.
The External Power Supply does not include in standard IP39-60 package

1. Remove the front panel cover from the Door Phone unit and find the wiring connector on the PCB module. ( See
Figure 6-1 )
2. Connect the door-lock relay wires to “Relay 1”/ “Relay 2”terminals.

Note:
1. Draw attention on NO/NC jumper position. The closed ‘Center’ Pin +’NO’ pin means the ‘Normally open’
relays status in powered mode. The closed ‘Center’ Pin +’NC’ pin means the ‘Normally Close’ relays
status in powered mode
2. Important: To set device in operational mode, switch 1 on PCB shall be switched to
position “Normal”. ( See Figure 6-1 )
3. If an external switch button is used, connect the button wires to the “Sensor 2”and the “Sensor 1”terminals.
4. Plug the wiring connector to the IP Door Phone PCB module.
5. Attach the IP Door phone into the installation bracket.
6. Check the LAN network cable is inserted into the ‘Ethernet’ RJ-45 socket and that if PoE is deployed the unit
powers up.
7. If an external power supply is used , switch on the external power supply pins DC5V.

8. The IP Door Phone internal relay’s maximum supported electrical current is 2A

7 Access to WEB Programming
10. The unit comes configured with the default IP address: 10.10.10.6 . To access to the unit’s WEB programming if
your LAN configured with different subnet please make following:
11. On Windows 7 PC:
•Go to Control Panel
•Open ‘Network and Sharing Center’
•Click on ‘Change adapter settings’
•Mouse right click on active Ethernet connection and chose ‘Properties’

•In LAN properties window select ‘Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) option and click on
‘Properties’ button
•Select 'Use the following IP address:' and insert IP Address and Subnet mask as shown on the
picture below

•Press ‘OK’ to accept settings
12. Launch Internet browser and type 10.10.10.6 in address bar.
13. Log in to the Nista web GUI using the appropriate user’s credentials
IP 39-60 provides different management levels for WEB-Management: Administrator and User
•‘Administrator’ level has access to all IP39-60 configuration parameters
•‘User’ level has limited access to IP39-60 configuration parameters.
Fill Administrator or User login name and Password fields.
