1. Introduction
This software is for the content management, and it supports Content editor and Scheduling.

2. Software Installation
2.1 Specification Requirement

2.2 Installation
Set CD-ROM which is attached in Video Distributor to your computer.
Run “Setup.exe”in “¥Software¥LED Content Manager”folder.
Displays the preparation to install

Input “User Name”and “Company Name”, then click .
There are two types of installation for the system.
(1) Installation for Stand-alone system
For STAND-ALONE system, install all files to one computer.
Select “Complete”and click .
Click .

Click the installation is finished.
The short-cuts of LCM Server and LCM Client are created on the Desktop.
(2) Installation for Server –Client system
For Server-Client system, select “Custom”and install LCM server to the server computer and LCM Client to the
client computer.
Select “Custom”and click .

(2.1) Installation for Server
Select “LCM Server”, and click .

The short-cut of LCM Server is created on the Desktop.
(2.2) Installation for Client
Select “LCM Client”, and click .
Click .

Click the installation is finished.
The short-cut of LCM Client is created on the Desktop.
LCM Client is registered in Start-up.
It runs when Windows OS is started. The registered content in Client is played automatically.

2.1 Runs LCM Client
To run LCM Client
(1) Click (LCMClient) on the Desktop.
(2) from Start menu
Start Programs NEC Display Solutions LED Content Manager LCM Client
Two icons will be resided at Task Tray.

2.3 Functions
Item Function
Start Player(A) Starts the playback of the content.
Close Player(S) Stops the playback of the content.
Option(O)
Register(R) Shows Product Registration.
Close(Q) Closes WatchDog and FtpServer.
Right-click (WatchDog) in Task Tray, then a menu is displayed.

Ifno capture device is installed to your computer, a following window is displayed.

Item Function
IP Address Selects IP address from the drop-down menu.
IP address is 127.0.0.1 for the stand-alone system.
FTP Port Normally sets to 21.
Language Selects a language from the drop-down menu.
Layout Sets the area to display the content.
Width / Height
Sets the displayed content size.
X/ Y Sets the start position. Left-Top is (0, 0).
X : Horizontal, Y : Vertical
Sets audio volume.
Sets the dimming level of LED wall.
Sets the interval time to save Log data.
Sets the interval time to refresh RSS.

(2) Capture device settings

Video Input Selects Capture card from the drop-down menu.
Audio Input Select audio input.
Input Source Under Confirmation
TV Format Under Confirmation
TV Type Under Confirmation
Deinterlace Under Confirmation
Channel Sets channel number.(*1)
Audio via PCI Bus
Check in if inputs audio via PCI bus.
Preview Preview…Under Confirmation
(3) Video Processor

Layout Set the layout the output image from Video Processor.
Width Width of window
Height Height of window
X Horizontal offset from the left-top corner
Y Vertical offset from the left-top corner
Video Source Select a signal source of Video Processor.

3.1 Run LCM Server
To execute LCM Server,
(1) Click LCM Server icon ( )on the Desktop
(2) from Start menu

3.3.1 Tool
(1) Setting
Item Function
Window Size Sets the preview window size.
Coordinate (X / Y) Sets the preview window coordination..
Favorite Layout Settings.
Library Path Sets the library path.
Default Seconds Under Confirmation
RSS refresh time Sets the time to update RSS resources.
Remember window size
and location. To check a box remembers window size and location. Not to check a box, LCM Server is opened as a full window size.
(2) Language
Can select a language.(The current supported languages are English, Japanese and Chinese.)
(supports French and Germany.)

(1) Display and group management
Icon Function
Adds a new display. To click an icon opens a setting window.
Deletes a group.
(2) Display real-time monitoring
Icon Function
Shows Display Setting window.
Show or hide the real-time layout and playback control windows.
Restart player.
Reboot the computer.
Shutdown the computer.
Play all programs.
Stop all programs.
Deliver the program list to the selected display.
Deliver the program list to the selected display.
To send the program list is interrupted.
Delete the selected display.
