1Preface
Thank you for using a Nederman product!

help you improve your productivity, reduce costs and
also reduce the impact on the environment from in-
dustrial processes.
Read all product documentation and the product iden-
tification plate carefully before installation, use, and
service of this product. Replace documentation im-
mediately if lost or damaged. Nederman reserves the
right, without previous notice, to modify and improve
its products including documentation.
This product is designed to meet the requirements
of relevant EC directives. To maintain this status, all
installation, maintenance, and repair is to be done
by qualified personnel using only Nederman original
spare parts and accessories. Contact the nearest au-
thorized distributor or Nederman for advice on tech-
nical service and obtaining spare parts. If there are
any damaged or missing parts when the product is de-
livered, notify the carrier and the local Nederman rep-
resentative immediately.

2.1Classification of important informa-

4Installation
4.1Mounting instruction
See Figure2.
1 Fit the fan contactor (1) on the wall near the fan
according to the picture.
2 Fit the operation box (2) on the wall near the oper-
ators working area.
Only one spotlight, for the extractor arm, can
be connected to each operation box (2).
4.2Electrical Installation of fan contact-
or and accessories
See Figure3.
WARNING!Risk of personal injury
Break the power supply to the fan contactor
and operation box before any electrical work is
started.
Electrical installation of the system should be
done by a qualified electrician.
Connection should be done according to the wiring
diagram.
1 Connect a cable between the fan contactor and
the operation box. A1 to J7:0V and 96 to J2:B. A
cable 2 x 1.0 mm2 is recommended. Connect a
cable from J2:A to J7:24 V.
2 For systems with a sensor; connect the sensor
cable in the operation box.

3 Connect possible spotlight or switch for Nederman
extractor arms.
Check correct voltage connection: block J6. D3
= light emission diode for voltage connected.
4.3Connection of several operation
boxes
See Figure4.
Several operation boxes can be connected when a
central fan should be operated. See the wiring dia-
gram, Figure3.
The fan contactor can be connected to any of
the operation boxes.
4.4Delay time
The system with a sensor stops the fan automatically
after welding with a delay time of 1 minute. This time
can be adjusted with a potentiometer positioned in
the operation box. See Figure3. The time can be ad-
justed between 0 and 5 minutes, ± 25 %.
4.5Setting the motor protector
See Figure4.
Check the rated current on the fan motor identifica-
tion plate and set the motor protector (C), in the fan
contactor accordingly.
Lockable safety switches are recommended for the
whole electric system including the fan.
The switch (E) must be set in the “0”-position
before the power connection.
4.6Resetting the motor protector
See Figure5.
Break the power supply, remove the cover on the fan
contactor and push the button (R).
4.7Trip class selection
See Figure4.
The trip class selection knob (D), is set to 10.

See Figure6. The system is designed to be used in a
dry environment in combination with other Nederman
products for extracting fumes, smoke or dust.
5.1Automatic regulation of fan
Only automatic fan control with a sensor.
See Figure2. Fit the sensor clamp (3) on the welding
cable (4). Check before welding begins that the sensor
clamp is in place.
The sensor stops the fan automatically after comple-
tion of welding with a delay time of approximately 1
minute (could be adjusted). The sensor responds to
welding currents from 8 to 400 A. The sensor has a
LED (F) which indicates when the sensor has received
a signal.
5.2Manual regulation of fan
The fan can be started or stopped with switch (E) or
with the switch on the fume extractor hood.
WARNING!Risk of personal injury
• After the products have been installed, check
that there is enough suction capacity in the
ducting system before any work has begun.
Check the fan impeller rotation direction.
• The equipment must not be used in an ex-
plosive environment.
6Maintenance
Installation, repair and maintenance work is to be car-
ried out by qualified personnel using only original Ne-
derman spare parts. Contact your nearest authorized
distributor or Nederman for advice on technical ser-
vice.

EN 7Troubleshooting
If the troubleshooting guide does not solve the problem, contact your nearest authorised dealer or Nederman
for technical advice.
WARNING!Risk of personal injury
Beware of primary voltage, 100 – 480 V.
Problem Reason Cause
The fan does not start. 1 Cable failure.
2 Defective fuse F1.
3 Incorrect power supply or
voltage failure.
4 Fan contactor does not work.
5 The motor protector has re-
leased.
6 The main or safety switch has
been shut off.
1 Check that cables and cable con-
nections are in good condition
and screws are fastened.
2 Change the fuse F1 in the opera-
tion box.
3 Check the power supply to the
fan (all phases). Check correct
voltage connection: block J6.
Check with a voltmeter if any
voltage (24 V ± 10 %) on block
J7.
4 Check according to the wiring
diagram that cable conductors
are correctly connected to the
Fan Contactor Box and to block
J2 and J7.
5 Check the motor. Reset the mo-
tor protector.
6 Check main and safety switch.
The fan does not start. The sensor does not work (automat-
ic system). • Check that the sensor cable is in good condition.
• Check the sensor connection
to block J4 and that screws are
fastened.
• Check that the LED on the sensor
clamp indicates during the weld-
ing work.
The fan starts without any
reason (automatic system). The sensor indicates because of dis- turbing surrounding equipment for
example other welding equipment
or high voltage unit.
• Eliminate or screen the disturb-
ances off.

8.1Ordering spare parts
When ordering spare parts always state the following:
• The part number and control number (see the
product identification plate).
• Detail number and name of the spare part (see
w$w$w$.$n$e$d$e$r$m$a$n$.$c$o$m$/$e$n$/$s$e$r$v$i$c$e$/$s$p$a$r$e$-$p$a$r$t$-
$s$e$a$r$c$h$).
• Quantity of the parts required.
9Recycling
The product has been designed for component mater-
ials to be recycled. Different material types must be
handled according to relevant local regulations. Con-
tact the distributor or$N$e$d$e$r$m$a$n$ if uncertainties arise
when scrapping the product at the end of its service
life.

1Úvod

ších prostředích. Produkty a řešení společnosti Neder-

klady a také snížit dopad průmyslových procesů na ži-
votní prostředí.
Před instalací, použitím a údržbou tohoto výrobku si
pečlivě přečtěte veškerou dokumentaci k výrobku a
identifikační štítek výrobku. Pokud dojde ke ztrátě do-
kumentace, je třeba ji ihned nahradit. Společnost Ne-
derman si vyhrazuje právo upravovat a vylepšovat své

4Instalace
4.1Montážní pokyny

1 Namontujte stykač ventilátoru (1) na stěnu vedle
ventilátoru podle obrázku.
2 Namontujte ovládací skříň (2) na stěnu vedle pra-
coviště obsluhy.
Ke každé ovládací skříni (2) lze připojit pouze
jeden reflektor (z ramena odsávače).
4.2Elektrická instalace stykače ventilá-
toru a příslušenství.

VAROVÁNÍ!Nebezpečí poranění osob
Před započetím jakýchkoliv prací na elektroin-
stalaci přerušte napájení stykače ventilátoru a
ovládací skříně.
Elektroinstalace systému by měla být provádě-
na výhradně kvalifikovaným elektrotechnikem.
Připojení je nutné provést podle následujícího sché-
matu elektrického zapojení.
1 Připojte kabel mezi stykač ventilátoru a ovládací
skříň. A1 k J7:0V a 96 k J2:B. Doporučuje se použít
kabel 2 x 1.0 mm2. Připojte kabel z J2:A k J7:24 V.
2 V případě systémů se snímačem připojte kabel sní-
mače v ovládací skříni.
3 Připojte případný reflektor nebo spínač Nederman
pro odsávací ramena.

Zkontrolujte správné připojení napětí: blok J6.

4.3Připojení několika ovládacích skříní

Několik ovládacích skříní je možné připojit v případě,
že používáte centrální ventilátor. Viz také schéma
elektrického zapojení Obrázek3.
Stykač ventilátoru lze připojit k libovolné ovlá-
dací skříni.
4.4Doba prodlevy
Systém se snímači zastaví ventilátor automaticky po
svařování s prodlevou 1 minuta. Doba může být nasta-
vena pomocí potenciometru v ovládací skříni, viz Obrá-
zek3. Čas je možné nastavit mezi 0 až 5 minutami, ±25
%.
4.5Nastavení ochrany motoru

Zkontrolujte jmenovitý proud na typovém štítku mo-
toru ventilátoru a nastavte ochranu motoru (C) ve sty-
kači ventilátoru příslušným způsobem.
Pro celý elektrický systém včetně ventilátoru se dopo-
ručují uzamykatelné bezpečnostní spínače.
Spínač (E) musí být před připojením napájení
nastaven do polohy „0“.
4.6Resetování ochrany motoru
Viz Obrázek5.
Přerušte napájení, sejměte kryt stykače ventilátoru a
stiskněte tlačítko (R).
4.7Volba vypínací třídy

Knoflík pro výběr vypínací třídy (D) je nastaven na 10.

né používat v suchém prostředí v kombinaci s ostat-
ními výrobky Nederman pro odsávání výparů, kouře
anebo prachu.
5.1Automatická regulace ventilátoru
Pouze automatické ovládání ventilátoru s čidlem.
Viz Obrázek2. Nasaďte sponu snímače (3) na svařo-
vací kabel (4). Před započetím svařování zkontrolujte,
zda je na místě spona snímače.
Snímač zastaví ventilátor automaticky po dokončení
svařování s prodlevou asi 1 minuta (lze nastavit). Sní-
mač reaguje na svařovací proud od 8 do 400 A. Snímač
je opatřen diodou LED (F) indikující, když snímač obdrží
signál.
5.2Ruční regulace ventilátoru
Ventilátor je možné spustit nebo zastavit spínačem (E)
nebo spínačem na krytu odsávače výparů.
VAROVÁNÍ!Nebezpečí poranění osob
• Po nainstalování výrobku zkontrolujte, zda
je k dispozici dostatečný sací výkon v systé-
mu kanálu, až poté můžete se systémem za-
čít pracovat. Zkontrolujte směr otáčení oběž-
ného kola ventilátoru.
• Zařízení se nesmí používat ve výbušném pro-
středí.
6Pokyny pro údržbu
Je třeba, aby byly instalace, opravy i údržby prováděny
kvalifikovanými pracovníky za použití originálních dí-
lů společnosti Nederman. Kontaktujte vašeho nejbliž-
šího autorizovaného distributora nebo společnost Ne-
derman pro radu a technický servis.

7Vyhledávání poruch
Pokud průvodce řešením problémů problém nevyřeší, obraťte se pro odbornou radu na nejbližšího autorizované-
ho prodejce nebo na společnost Nederman.

1 Zkontrolujte, zda jsou kabely a
kabelové přípojky v dobrém sta-
vu a zda jsou šrouby řádně dota-
ženy.
2 Vyměňte pojistku F1 v ovládací
skříni.
3 Zkontrolujte napájení ventiláto-
ru (všechny fáze). Zkontrolujte,
zda je připojeno správné napětí :
blok J6. Pomocí voltmetru zkon-
trolujte, zda je na (24 V ±10 %)
bloku J7 k dispozici napětí.
4 Podle schématu elektrického za-
pojení zkontrolujte, zda jsou vo-
diče správně připojeny ke skříni
stykače ventilátoru a bloku J2 a
J7.
5 Zkontrolujte motor. Resetujte
ochranu motoru.
6 Zkontrolujte hlavní a pojistný
spínač.
Ventilátor se nespouští. Snímač nepracuje. (automatický
systém). • Zkontrolujte, zda je kabel snímače v dobrém stavu.
• Zkontrolujte připojení snímače k
bloku J4 a zda jsou šrouby řádně
připojeny.
• Zkontrolujte, zda dioda LED na
sponě snímače indikuje stav bě-
hem svařování.
Ventilátor se spouští bez příči-
ny (automatický systém). Snímač indikuje stav v důsledku ru- šení okolním zařízením, například ji-
ným svařovacím zařízením nebo vy-
sokonapěťovými jednotkami.
• Eliminujte nebo odstiňte rušivé
prvky.
