Reverse Osmosis Process
UV Process
TheReverseOsmosisprocess,alsoknownas
hyperltraon,isthenestltraonprocess
knownlldate.Theprocessensuresremoval
ofparclesassmallasionsfromasoluon.
Reverse Osmosis uses a semi-permeable
membrane to remove salts from potable/
brackish water. In Reverse Osmosis, water
pressure applied to the concentrated side
forces the process of osmosis into reverse.
Under enough pressure, treated water is
“squeezed” through the membrane from
the concentrated side to the diluted side.
Saltsdissolvedin wateraschargedionsare
repelledbytheROmembrane.Therejected
impuriesontheconcentratedsideofthemembranearewashedawayinastreamof
wastewaterandthusdonotgetaccumulatedasinatradionallter.
TheUVlighthasshorterwavelength(higherenergy)thanthevisiblelight.Itiscalled
ultra-violetbecauseitisjustbeyondvioletlightinthelightspectrum.Technically,the
ultra-violet light is dened to be any wavelength of light, which is shorter than 400
nanometer.
UVrays,whichpenetrate intothemicro-organisms, areabsorbedbythe DNA of the
pathogen in the water. The DNA is altered in such a way that the pathogen cannot
reproduceitself.Thus,itisessenallykilledandcannotcauseinfecon.Thisprocessof
DNAmodicaoniscalledinacvaon.

Installation
1.Closemainwatersupplyvalvetoseparatethefaucet.
2.WindtheTeontapeontheadaptorandtittothepipe.
Do not turn the water pipe.
3.Connectthefaucetwiththeadaptor.
Shall install the adaptor with connector on the cold water
pipe.
4.Connect1/4inchwhitetubingwiththeconnectoronthe
adaptor.
Flush water through each lter at least 5 minutes before
Connecon.
