andthelengthshouldbenolongerthan10feet

Wipeofftheinsideoftheroastingchamber
witha cleandrytowel.
Donotimmersecoffeeroasterbaseinwateror
liquid.

HOW TOUSE
ROASTING TIPS
CR-100 is designed to roast one measuring cup
(150g ~ 180g=5 1/3~62/5oz)of greencoffee
beans atone time.
Never try lessthan 140gand morethan 190g.
CR-100roastscoffeebeans 7 min.to 13min.
completely.
Thetime canbe selectedfreelydepending on
desiredcolor of coffee by turning the timerknob.
Tokeep the bestflavor & aroma of coffee
afterroasting
Grind as much asyou need andthe remainder of
thegroundbeansmust be tightlysealed.
Roastedbeanswilltastebest if usedwithin a 7 day
period.
A.Check ifthe safety netis cleanthenplace the
chaffcollector in place.
B. Fill the measuring cup with no morethan 150g
~ 180g (51/3~62/5oz)of beans.
*Never try lessthan140g (5oz)and more
/!\than190g(63/5oz).
Ifoverfilledunitwillsmoke or causebeans
not to circulateproperly.
*Sun-dned(heavychaff)andheavy-weightgreen
beanshould be reduced10~20% of capacity
C.Pour the beansinto the roastingchamber.
Out of range ofthe ratedvoltage100V,110V.
120V,220V.230V,240 the beancapacity is
recommended.

Fill 10g morethan the abovequantity for small
(light)sizebean, and10g lessthan for large(heavy)
sizebean
D. Covertheglass lid firmlyallowing no gapbetween
theglass lidandthe body.
E.Plug inthe powercord andsetthe timer to7 ~ 13
min.thenturn the switch on.
Afterroasting7~13min.and3~5min. of cooling
time, thelamp inthe switchwill beoffandthe
timerwillstop.Thenturn the Rockerswitch off
andunplug the cordfromelectricaloutlet.
/!\ Donot touch hot surfacesduringroasting
F. Open the glass lidand remove the chaffcollector
andpour the roastedcoffeebeansintocontainer.
G.Makesure to clean the safety netby using a brush
for the next use.

IMPORTANT
•Roastedcolorcanvarydependingonthe
voltageofelectricoutlet.
•Ifthecolorofthebeansislightafterpre-set
timeisup,youmustadd1-2min.beforethelight
ontherockerswitchisoff.Ifthelampisoff,you
mustadd3-4min.moreforthewarmingup
process.
•Ifdesiredcolorisdoneearlierthansettime,turn
thetimerto0 andstartcoolingprocess.
NOTE:Iftheroastedbeansarealwayslighterthan
statedintheinstructions,thereasonisthecoming
voltageofelectricoutletistooloworthesafetynet
isn'tclearedofallchaffs.
%TheRockerswitchindicatesthattheheatercoil
isbeingoperated.Whiletheheaterisoperated,the
rockerswitchisalwayslit.Whiletheheaterisnt
operating,thelightoftherockerswitchwillbeoff.
OPERATING TIPS
1. Completelyunwindthepowercordfromthereel.
2. Removetheglasslidandmakesurethesafety
netisclearedofall chaff.
3. PlacetheChaffCollectorintothemachine.
4. Fillthemeasuringcupwith150g~180g
(51/3-62/5oz)'sofgreencoffeebeansand
pourthebeansintotheroastingchamber.
5. Covertheglasslidfirmlybetweenthelidand
thebody.
6.Pluginthepowercord.
7. Setthetimerforthedesiredlengthofoperation.
7to8minutesofroastingtimewillproducea light
roast.8to9 minuteswillprovidea medium.9 to
10minuteswillprovideadarkroastand11to13
minuteswillprovidea French roast orespressoroast.
Abovetimesisbasedontheratedvoltage.
Incaseoutof theratedvoltage.Roastingtimeand
colordependsonincomingvoltage.Adjustthe
timerknobreducingorincreasingafterconfirming
colorofbeanintheroastchamberthroughvisible
lid
8.Turntherockerswitch on. (theredlightbeonand
youwillheartheunitturnon).
9.Afterthedesiredamountoftimehaspassed
fortheunittocompleteit's roastingcycleit
willautomaticallycooldownfora periodof
5minutesandthenshutitselfoff.
10. Nowyouarereadytoturnthepowerswitch
totheoffpositionandremovetheglasslid.
11. CarefullyremovetheChaffCollectorfrom
theunitandemptyit.Youmaynowpourthe
freshlyroastedbeansintoa container.
12. Takea momenttowipeouttheroasting
chamberwitha drytowelandcleanthe
glasslidwitha standardglasscleaner.
13. Useyourcleaningbrushtoremoveanyextra
chaffthatmightbeleftinthesafetynet.
Nowyouarealreadyforyournextroast.
