6. Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. Do not leave the
appliance switched on for a long period of time after use. Do not use the appliance as
a room heating system. Switch off the main switch (2).
7. As soon as a malfunction or an error is detected, the device must be disconnected

3. Safety
3.1 Convention for safety instructions
This device is designed and built for professional use only and can only be used by
qualified personnel or by qualified persons.
Bake with your waffle maker exclusively waffles. Do not use it for any other purpose.
Danger of damage to your new device!
Your device is not waterproof.
Do not clean it under running water, immerse it in water and do
not clean it in the dishwasher.
If your device should come into contact with water:
First, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, and then first
operate the appliance after being tested by a qualified electrician.

As standard the unit is delivered ready to plug in with a 1.5m long H07RN-F 3G
connection cable and can be connected to standard sockets.
Make sure that the maximum power of the circuit is not exceeded.

socket circuits.
Operation
During operation, some equipment parts become very hot. To avoid burns, do not
touch hot parts of the appliance!
Open and close the device only on the handle (6).
Crushing!

baking plate (1 + 8) does not close accidentally.
Dismantling
Pull out the mains plug before opening.
Disconnect the power supply before carrying

4.Construction and function
4.1 Structure

4.2 Functional description
Power cord and plug:
without illustration, please unplug the mains plug before
performing any maintenance or repair work.

1) Hood:
the hood becomes very hot during operation, never touch it.

2) On/off switch:
each device has its own power switch, on which the device can be switched on or off.
Caution: Danger of electric shock: In spite of the
switch being switched off, the unit carries live parts,
pull the mains plug before opening.
3) Timer:
the timer is used for the baking time control, it has no executing function (for
example, switching off the heating process). A detailed description of the setting and
use is described in chapter 9.3.
4) Pilot light:
on the pilot light you can see that the heating process is active. The control light
switches off when the temperature set by you is reached. You can start baking.
5) Temperature control:
you can set the temperature continuously via the temperature selection switch, the
controller is regulated until 250 ° C for safety reasons.
6) Handle:
the appliance becomes hotter than 60 ° C during operation,
therefore, only grasp the handle when opening the appliance.
7) Height adjuster:
with the height adjusters (feet), you can provide a firm and secure position of the unit
on uneven surfaces.
8) Baking plate:
the baking plates become very hot during operation, never
grasp or support it. BURN HAZARD
The baking plate is provided with a non-stick coating, avoid
using pointy or sharp objects to remove the baked goods
from the plate.
Take a soft, damp cloth and remove any residue immediately.
Spray it occasionally with our baking spray (00-90102).
Do not take any butter or oil, as these residues leave behind.

5. Delivery, internal transport, unpacking
5.1 Security
5.1.1
In dealing with this device and all electrical devices must be in principle rules
for their own safety.
In particular, these are:

5.2 Transport
The transport route is decisive for the type of packaging. The packaging
corresponds, if not specially contractually agreed, to the packaging guidelines ADSp,

Immediately check delivery for completeness and transport damage. In the case of
externally identifiable transport damage, the delivery can not be accepted or
accepted only with reservation. Please state the extent of damage to the transport

5.3 Internal transport

immediately after delivery, they must be carefully stored
in a protected place. They must be properly covered so

5.4 Unpacking
After unpacking the unit, check for any damage.
Before use, remove the protective film. If adhesive residues should remain, remove

them with a suitable solvent. Clean the unit with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
Check all screw connections for tightness.
Electrical protection measures have been carried out and have been tested for
functionality.
The data on the type plate must correspond to the data of the local supply network.
6. Storage conditions
6.1 Security
Ensure that you store the packaged goods only in dry rooms and do not exceed the
maximum number of cartons to be stacked. In both cases, cartons may collapse and
endanger your life.
6.2 Storage
If the devices are not installed immediately after delivery, they must be carefully
stored in a protected place. They must be properly covered so that no dust or
moisture can penetrate.

8. Assembly, Installation and initial start-up
8.1 Security

Faulty devices or systems must not be put into operation!
Operate the device according to the operating instructions
(chapter 9). Use the operating instructions to explain to the
user how the device works and how to use it.
8.2 Assembly and installation
The device must be installed in such a way that the electrical connection is
accessible and maintenance can be carried out. The devices are not suitable for
incorporation.
If the appliance is installed near walls, partitions, kitchen furniture, ornamental edges,
etc., care must be taken that these materials are made of heat-resistant and non-
combustible materials, otherwise they must be covered with a suitable material, and

The power cord must not come into contact with the hot parts. Observe the minimum
distance, see the installation plan chapter 7. Please notice the information on the
type plate before connecting!

The unit is delivered ready to plug in with a 1.5m long H07RN-F 3G connection cable
and can be connected to standard sockets.
Two separate sockets are required for double units; distributors and / or multiple
sockets must not be used. Make sure that the max. Power of the circuit is not

8.3 Initial commissioning
During commissioning, greases and insulating materials can evaporate and lead to a

solvent. Clean the unit with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
9. Operation
9.1 Security

9.3 Indicators (Timer (3))

The timer can be set up and down from one second to 9 minutes and 59 seconds.
The time sequence can be interrupted at any time and has no influence on the
baking process.
The timer has no executing function, it serves only for the time control of the
baking process. The set time is displayed after switching on the device.
To set the time, press the or button to change the setpoint value in the display
and save it.
Press the button to start or stop the timer. The display shows the elapsed time, if
it counts down to "zero" a signal is emitted.
Attention! Setting the setpoint is only possible if the timer is stopped.
9.4 Commissioning
After unpacking and cleaning the unit, insert the plug into the provided socket. Switch
on the power switch (2), the light in the switch must be in position 1, set the
temperature selector switch (5) to 200°C (the indicator light (4) lights up) and heat the
appliance in the open state approx. 30 min. so that industrial greases can escape.
During the first heating, smoke and odor develop. After the first heat-up, clean the
baking plate with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use sharp or sharp objects to protect the
coating.
9.5 Operation
After you have prepared the device, select the required temperature and set the timer
to the desired time (description, chapter 9.3). With our waffle maker you can work
with a time setting of approx. 3 minutes and a temperature of approx. 200°C or
alternatively bake the waffles for approx. 5 minutes at 170°C (both with Neumärker
Bubble-Waffle-Mix). For a perfect result, which varies according to the consistency of
the dough, please bake a sample for test issues. After you have set the temperature,

the control lamp (4) lights up and the appliance starts to heat. When the indicator
light turns off, the appliance is heated up and you can begin to bake. Fill the dough
into the baking plate and close the baking plates by turning the unfilled side onto the
filled side. Take both baking plates together on the handles and swing them to the
other side of the appliance. After the baking process open the plates and remove the
finished waffle.
The device is hot during operation,
do not touch the hot surfaces of the device.
Open the device only on the handle (6) and
make sure that the hood (1) is fully open and
can not close accidentally (risk of crushing).
Before the first baking, coat the baking plates with a light fog of the anti-adherend
spray (00-90102). Fill the dough into the baking plate (8), pay attention to the amount
of dough, otherwise the dough will run out of the baking mold and the equipment and
the surrounding area become dirty.
Carefully close the unit.
Now press the button and the timer starts to count down the preset time.
Press the hood slightly on the handle (6) to allow the dough to spread.
BURN HAZARD! When baking, water vapour escapes, do
not keep your hands near the baking plates.
After the timer has elapsed, a signal sounds and baking is finished.
Do not remove the hot waffle with your
fingers or with a fork or other sharp or sharp objects.
Remove the waffle with a wooden stick. Remove the
residue immediately with a damp cloth or a wooden tool.
9.6 Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the device after every working day. Before cleaning and maintenance, unplug
the power cord from the wall outlet and allow the unit to cool down. Always remove
the coarse dirt after the baking process with a damp cloth or wooden spatula, do not
use sharp cleaning agents or sharp objects that destroy the coating.

Disconnect the power supply before each maintenance work.

- Clean the appliance regularly with a soft cloth with a diluted detergent.
- If necessary, carry out a protective conductor test every 6 months.
- The check intervals are to be calculated in such a way that the resulting defects,
which can be expected, can be idetified timely.
Check the mains cable every day for damage.
Do not use the unit if the power cord is damaged.
9.7 Decommissioning
Thoroughly clean the appliance from all food residues. Check the electrical parts as
well as the supply line, replace the defective parts if necessary, check the tightness
of all screws, handle, metal parts and height adjusters. Store the unit in a dust-free
and dry environment.
Please note!
According to BGV A3 (formerly VBG4), electrical components may only be replaced
by electricians.
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by qualified specialists using
original spare parts and accessories.
Do not perform any repairs on the device yourself.
