Before commissioning
Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Check the unit for visible damage. For damage of any kind, please notify the
customer service.
The power cord and plug must not be damaged. In these cases, a qualified customer
service must be checked before commissioning.
Basic safety regulations
The product you purchased corresponds to the state of the art and the recognized
safety regulations, but can create dangers. Please operate the crepes unit only in
perfect condition and in compliance with the operating instructions. The device is to
be used only for the specific purpose.
All technical interventions, including assembly and maintenance, should be
performed by trained personnel. If these conditions are not adhered to, the warranty
obligation of the manufacturer expires. Due to constant technical improvements,
changes in the operation may occur.
General information
•The device has been tested for functionality, but damage can occur during
transport. Please check the condition of the device immediately after receiving
it.
•Please note that accident prevention regulations must be complied with.
Installation
•The circuit is automatically switched off when the specified power is exceeded.
•Before you connect the appliance, make sure that the information on the rating
plate of the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage.
•The crepes device must be connected to the earth conductor of the power
supply.
Positioning
•To avoid damaging the surfaces, carefully remove the packaging.
•Remove the protective film from the exterior walls. Avoid sticking residues. In
case the adhesive remains behind, please remove it with a suitable solvent.
•Place the appliance on a level, safe place that can withstand the weight of the
appliance.
•Ensure that the cable is long enough to be pligged in.
•Make sure the cable is undamaged and not pinched under the device.
•Check that the cable is not in contact with sharp edges and / or hot surfaces.
•The crepes device must be positioned so that maintenance can be carried out.
•The devices are not suitable for installation.
•Do not place the appliance near walls or other objects made of combustible
materials.
Safety instructions
Attention!
•Do not use this appliance if the appliance is not working properly, is damaged
or has been dropped.
•Never move the appliance by pulling on the mains cable. Always pull the
mains plug before transferring the appliance. Make sure that the cable can not
get caught. Do not twist the cable around the device and do not bend it.
•Only operate the unit with a suitable, tested extension cable.
•Do not use accessories or spare parts which are not recommended by the
manufacturer. These could pose a danger to the user or cause damage to the
device and lead to personal injury.
•To prevent electrical shock, never place the appliance in water or other liquids.
Power cord or the power supply must never get contact with water.
•Clean the appliance only dry or with a damp cloth.
•The baking plates reach very high temperatures during operation.
•Do not leave children unattended with the crepes machine alone.
•Before you connect the appliance, make sure that the information on the type
plate of the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage.
•Never leave the power cable hanging over edges of the table.
•Be careful not to trip over the cable.
•Do not use the unit outdoors when the weather is bad (rain, storm, snow,
thunderstorms).
•In the event of damage or malfunction, please contact your dealer or our
customer service.
•Repairs may only be carried out by qualified specialists using original spare
parts and accessories. Never try to repair yourself!
•Keep these operating instructions carefully. If the device is passed on to a
third person, the instruction manual must be handed over.
•No aluminum foil or plastic container may be placed on the baking plates.
•Never attempt to open the unit or perform any repairs on the unit yourself. The
unit may only be opened and repaired by qualified personnel.
•Do not use this appliance if cables or power plugs are damaged, if the
appliance is not working properly, has been damaged or has been dropped.
Please contact an authorized dealer or our service for the purpose of checking
and repair.
•Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, for cleaning or other
purposes.
•Never place the appliance in a dishwasher.
•Use the appliance only for its intended purpose (baking and cooking of flour
dough).
Danger:
There is a risk of burning.
The Crepes appliance is hotter than 60°C. Even if the crepes appliance is switched
off, the baking plates are still hot for a long time. Never place your arm or hand on
the baking plate.
Do not place a pot on the plates and do not use water on the hot plates.
Please read the following instructions carefully before use.
Operation
•The device should be placed horizontally on a solid ground.
•Make sure that the socket is properly grounded.
•Before commissioning, clean the plates with a greasy cloth to remove the
industrial greases.
•Switch on the crepes device.
•Leave it at approx. 180°C - 200°C for approx. one hour. As industrial greases
escape, smoke can develop.
•Caution: The baking plates are very hot and must not be touched with bare
hands or fingers.
•Set the temperature setting to the desired temperature. The control lamp lights
up and indicates that the device is heating.
•The heating is carried out when the control lamp lights up and the control lamp
switches off when the temperature is reached.
•Please pay attention to the exact dosing of the dough, otherwise the excess
dough will run down the sides and the equipment will become dirty.
•To turn the dough smoothly and quickly on the plate, always place the dough
spreader in water.
•Please wear protective gloves that reach up to your wrist and an apron. Never
grasp the food with your bare hands.
Warning
The manufacturer assumes no liability whatsoever for injuries or damage caused by
improper use, incorrect operation of the device or neglecting the information
contained in this manual.
Cleaning
•Disconnect the unit from the power supply before cleaning.
•Clean the crepes unit daily.
•The baking residues must be removed after baking, while still warm.
•Clean the unit only dry or with a damp cloth. Before doing so, always
disconnect the mains plug from the power supply.
•To protect yourself from electrical shock Do not immerse the appliance, cable
or plug in water or other liquids.
•Do not use hard or sharp objects that can damage the equipment surface.
•Disconnect the mains plug before cleaning the appliance. Please do not use
corrosive detergents and do not inject water into the unit.
•Wipe the chassis / control panel with a soft cloth or a mild detergent.
•
Maintenance
•Disconnect the device from the power supply before performing any
maintenance work.
•Wait with all maintenance work until the appliance has cooled down.
•To perform maintenance, remove the floor plate.
•In the event of a fault, the device may only be opened and repaired by
specialist personnel.
•Clean the inside and outside of the unit regularly with a soft cloth with a diluted
detergent.
Failures
Regulator failure: If the crepes unit
heats over a period of more than 30
minutes, the controller has a fault. This
can be seen in the fact that the control
lamp does not show a switch-off
function.
Ø
Disconnect the device
immediately from the circuit,
pull the plug and notify the
customer service. Never
perform any repairs yourself.
Radiator malfunction: The unit does
not get hot even though the control
lamp has been switched on for about 30
minutes.
