X2 Data Logger –Wi-Fi Setup
Enter the local Network SSID, Security Settings, and Password at the X2 Deployment location and click Save Settings.
The SSID is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as it is displayed.
X2 Data Logger –Wi-Fi Setup
Once the network information has been committed successfully, a prompt will appear to reset the X2 Wi-Fi via a magnet swipe.
The accepted Network connection will be displayed above and the SSID and password fields will become greyed out.
X2 Data Logger –Wi-Fi Setup
When the Advanced Settings fields are left at their defaults (see below), the X2 will automatically acquire network settings via DHCP.
Only change these settings if the network does not have a DHCP server available. Contact your network administrator for this information as
needed.
X2 Data Logger –Wi-Fi Setup
Disconnect from the X2’s Wi-Fi network and reset its Wi-Fi with the magnet and reconnect to the primary network (the same one the X2 was just configured for).
If the X2 has not yet been claimed into a WQData LIVE project, follow the steps outlined here.
Log in to the project and verify the logger successfully makes contact and begins uploading data at the next transmission interval (every 10 minutes).
X2 Data Logger –Wi-Fi Setup
Once the X2 is transmitting data to WQData LIVE, reference the Remote Device Configuration menu to customize system settings as desired.
