Questions?
Domestically, for customer care issues including billing issues, general
service needs, or to order additional services, call Nextel Customer Care
at 1-800-639-6111, or dial 611 from your i1000plus phone.
To complement the i1000plus phone and Nextel Worldwide Service,
Nextel has also launched International Roaming Customer Care
support. When traveling outside of the U.S. and Canada, call 1 (201)
531-5202 for your Customer Care Service needs. This Customer Care
number will be toll-free from your Nextel handset both domestically
and internationally.

also available at nextel.com.
Driver Safety
Safe driving is far more important than anything else. So please follow
these tips for using your wireless phone when you’re behind the wheel.
1
Give driving your full attention. Don’t let anything interfere with
your concentration.
2
Assess road conditions before making or taking a call.
3
Let Voice Mail pick up when you’re in heavy traffic or hazardous
road conditions.
4
Program your most frequently dialed numbers into your phone
for Speed Dialing. When dialing manually without the Turbo
Dial™(one-touch dialing) feature, dial only when your vehicle is
stopped—or have a passenger dial for you.
5
Position your phone where it is easy to see and reach.
6
Keep your eyes on the road. Never take notes while driving.
7
Consider using a hands-free speakerphone,
which allows you to keep both hands on the
wheel when speaking. Hands-free mobile
accessories and car adapter accessories can be
ordered by calling 1-800-914-3240, visiting
nextel.com or contacting your Nextel Autho-
rized Representative.
8
Be a Good Samaritan. Dial 9-1-1 in emergen-
cies to report accidents, impaired or aggressive
drivers, crimes or fires. It’s a free call. Know
your Nextel phone number, so emergency services personnel can
call you back if necessary.
