ONLY BE REPLACED BY A TECHNICIAN IN AN AREA KNOWN TO BE NON-HAZARDOUS.
WARNING: USE ONLY DURACEL PC1500, ENERGIZER EN 1 OR ENERGIZER E 1 BATTERIES.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSICALLY SAFE MODELS
For personal safety, always confirm the rating of any known hazardous or potentially hazardous
location where the flashlight is planned to be used.
OPERATION
XPP-5422B/G
Models 5422B & G have two body switches that control the flashlight and the floodlight. The flashlight
and floodlight functions can be operated independently and together.
CAUTIONS
•Warning – Substitution of Components May Impair Intrinsic Safety.
•Warning – To reduce the risk of explosion do not mix new batteries with old/used batteries, or mix
batteries from different manufacturers
•Warning – To reduce the risk of ignition of a flammable or explosive atmosphere, batteries must
be changed only in a location known to be non-hazardous
•Warning – Risk of ignition – Do not open in a hazardous area
INSTALLING OR CHANGING BATTERIES
CAUTION
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF IGNITION OF A FLAMMABLE OR EXPLOSI E ATMOSPHERE,
BATTERIES MUST BE CHANGED ONLY IN A LOCATION KNOWN TO BE NON-
HAZARDOUS
1. Loosen the locking screw located on the side of the lens cap
2. Unscrew the lens bezel.
3. Remove the reflector / battery carrier.
4. Install 3 AA batteries in the carrier. Use only approved batteries: Duracell PC1500, Energizer
EN91 or Energizer E91.
5. Replace reflector / battery carrier in flashlight housing. Align reflector / battery carrier with the
switch.
6. Replace the lens bezel.
7. Tighten locking screw.
WARRANTY
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Product is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the
original owner. Includes the housing, lenses, electronics and switches. Batteries, normal wear and
abuse are excluded.
Not Covered
Consequential damages, incidental damages or incidental expenses, including damage to property.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which
may vary from state to state.
Warranty Claims - USA
Contact Bayco Products, Inc. for USA warranty claims. Call 800-233-2155 or email
[e-mail] and Bayco Customer Service will provide a Return Goods Authorization
(RGA) to facilitate rapid warranty action. After receiving the RGA, send the product (shipping prepaid)
to BAYCO PRODUCTS, INC. • 640 S. SANDEN BLVD • WYLIE, TEXAS • 750 8. Include a dated
proof of purchase and a brief description of the defect with your name, address and phone number.
Your product will either be repaired or replaced at the option of Bayco and returned as soon as
practical, but no later than 45 days after being received by Bayco.

Modèles 5422B & G ont deux interrupteurs qui contrôlent le corps lampe de poche et le projecteur.
Les fonctions lampe de poche et projecteur peut être utilisé indépendamment ou ensemble.

INSTALLATION OU REMPLACEMENT DES PILES

1. Desserrer la vis de verrouillage située sur le côté du capuchon de lentille.
2. Dévisser la lunette lentille.
3. Retirez le support de réflecteur / batterie.
4. Installez 3 piles AA dans le support. Utilisez uniquement des batteries homologues: Duracell
PC1500, Energizer EN91 ou Energizer E91.
5. Remplacer réflecteur / support de batterie dans le logement lampe de poche. Aligner réflecteur /
support de batterie avec le commutateur.
6. Replacez le cache de l'objectif.
7. Serrer la vis de blocage.

INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PILAS O CAMBIO
PRECAUCIÓN

EXPLOSI A, LAS BATERÍAS DEBEN CAMBIARSE ÚNICAMENTE EN UN LUGAR
CONOCIDO SER NO PELIGROSOS
1. Aflojar el tornillo de bloqueo situado en el lado de la tapa de la lente.
2. Desenrosque el aro del objetivo.
3. Retire el soporte del reflector / batería.
4. Instale 3 baterías AA en el soporte. Utilice únicamente las baterías aprobadas: Duracell PC1500,
Energizer EN91 o Energizer E91.
5. Vuelva a colocar el reflector / soporte de la batería en la vivienda linterna. Alinear reflector /
soporte de la batería con el interruptor.
6. Vuelva a colocar el bisel de la lente.
7. Apriete el tornillo de bloqueo.
