H. Tension Knob
Turn clockwise to increase
tension, turn counter-clockwise
to decrease tension. HD9000
only.
Using & Adjusting Your ShermanHDTM
B. Arm Height Adjustment
Turn knob cockwise to raise,
counter-clockwise to lower.
C. Seat Depth Adjustment
Loosen hand wheel (do not
remove) and slide back to
desired position, then re-tighten
hand wheel.
F. Seat Height Adjustment
To lower, lift paddle whileseated.
To raise lift paddle with weight
off seat.
D. Lumbar Support
Built into back for increased
comfort and support.
E. Fold Away Arms
Lift arm at arm pad and push
backward to move arm out of
way. To put back lift arm and
drop back onto bracket.
G. Arm Width Adjustment
To adjust arm width, loosen
hand wheel (do not remove)
move arm to desired position
and re-tighten hand wheel.
A. Adjustable Foot Ring
To loosen, turn wheel counter-
clockwise and move ring to
desired height, turn wheel
clockwise to tighten.

Mechanism
Once a year, lubricate using light sewing machine oil or similar product. (Spray
with plastic straw attached to sprayer). NOTE: To prevent dripping, avoid over
lubrication which may cause damage to surrounding surfaces.
Fabric
Clean with mild detergent and water applied with a clean damp cloth or sponge.
Rinse with a damp (water) cloth and let dry. Never use hot water and avoid
scrubbing. Use gentle movements.
Plastic Parts
To clean, spray with a mild detergent and wipe off using a damp (water) cloth.
Do not use abrasives or excessive amounts of cleaner.
Frame
Powder coat frames can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth and any mild
detergent.
