How To Care For Your EXO™
With regular care and maintenance, your EXO™ will provide many years of
superior performance and satisfaction. To maintain the quality of your
Nightingale product, please follow the cleaning procedures outlined here.
Mechanism
Once a year lubricate using WD40 or similar product. (Spray with plastic
straw attached to sprayer) NOTE: To prevent dripping, avoid over
lubrication which may cause damage to surrounding surfaces.
NEBULA™ Mesh
Clean with mild detergent and water applied with a clean damp cloth
or sponge. Rinse with a damp (water) cloth and let dry. Never use
hot water and avoid scrubbing. Use gentle movements.
Plastic parts
To clean spray with a mild detergent and wipe off using a damp
(water) cloth. Do not use abrasives or excessive amounts of cleaner.
Frame
Powder coat frames can be cleaned by wiping with a damp
cloth and any mild detergent.

E. Pivot Arm Pad
Adjustment
(Underneath pad).
Push button up to
pivot, turn pad to desired
position. Release button
to lock into position.
C. Arm Height Adjustment
Pull lever up to raise or
lower arm, release to lock.
A. Pneumatic Height Adjustment
To lower, lift the lever while
seated. To raise, lift lever with
your weight off the seat.
D. Horizontal Arm Adjustment
Loosen fasteners that secure
arms to seat, pull arm out
to desired width and
re-tighten arms.
G. Synchronous Tilt Lock
Torsion activated mechanism can be
locked in 2 positions or allowed to
free float. To lock chair in upright
position pull lever up and release.
To lock chair in recline position push
lever down to lowest setting and
release. To unlock and allow free float,
pull lever up to middle
setting and release, chair will
unlock when you lean back.
B. Tension Knob
Turn knob clockwise to
increase tension, turn
counter-clockwise to
decrease tension.
F. Lumbar Height
Adjustments
Use both hands, while
seated to adjust lumbar
support pad height to
desired position.
To adjust lumbar support
pad height, pull pad up or
push pad down with both
hands to ensure even
adjustment.
