Warrantee
One (1) Year Limited Warranty
Subject to the limitations set forth below, Nightowl Stage Lighting
hereby represents and warrants that the components of this product
shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials, including
implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose, subject to normal use and service, for one (1) year the
original owner from the date of purchase.
Retailer and manufacturer shall not be liable for damages based upon
inconvenience, loss of use of product, loss of time, interrupted
operation or commercial loss or any other incidental or consequential
damages including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, goodwill,
damage to or replacement of equipment and property, and any costs
of recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing any program or data
stored in equipment that is used with Nightowl products. This
guarantee gives you specific legal rights. You may have other legal
rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitation may not apply to you.
Returns
Returned merchandise must be sent prepaid and in the original
packing. Package must be clearly labeled with a Return Merchandise
Authorization Number (RMA #).
For repair and warrantee service contact Nightowl Stage Lighting at
NightowlStageLighting.com for an RMA number and shipping
instructions. Include a phone number in case we need to speak to you
in person. The website contains all up to date contact information.
Claims
Damage incurred in shipping is the responsibility of the shipper;
therefore, the damage must be reported to the carrier upon receipt of
merchandise. It is the customer's responsibility to notify and submit
claims with the shipper in the event that a fixture is damaged due to
shipping. Any other claim for items such as missing component/part,
damage not related to shipping, and concealed damage, must be
made within seven (7) days of receiving merchandise. We will be
happy to assist you with your shipping claim should there be an issue.

Safety and Proper Use
Do not expose this unit to water, the unit is not waterproof
Allow 250 Watts per fixture when distributing power
Terminate the last unit in a DMX daisy chain
No user serviceable parts inside attempts at repair void warrantee
Never connect unit to a dimmed power source
Disconnect from power source during periods of non-use
Heat kills LED’s, avoid or limit use in high heat situations
Do not operate the unit if it is damaged
Ensure fan is working, it’s worth repeating, heat kills LED’s
Ensure unit is properly grounded and cord is intact and safe
Test line voltage if you are not sure if it is in range 100-240 VAC
Keep the original box in case you need to ship it for service
DMX Mode
When operating in DMX mode (detected when DMX cable is plugged
in to a DMX controller) the control panel will only be used for DMX
starting address and the light will be controlled using 8 DMX
channels.
When you daisy chain multiple units, a DMX line terminator is highly
recommended to prevent erratic behavior.
Stand Alone or Master/Slave Mode
When operating in Standalone or Master/Slave mode the control
panel on the light allows you to access all the functions.
The display will allow you to scroll up and down with two or three
digit values following the alphabetic function code depending on
the function to adjust the lights settings.
DMX and colors have three digit values, but speed is two digits
after an alphabetic code.
The first unit in a daisy chain with no DMX cable connected to the
input acts as the Master.
