●フォーカスフィールドスコープ、ファーブルフォトそれぞれで仮のピント合わせを行います。最終ピン

トはカメラのオートフォーカスで行ってください。

●撮影ケーブルレリーズで行います。静かに押してください。

●カメラのズーム広角側での撮影は、接眼レンズの種類や撮影条件により画面の四隅に影が出ます。MC・MCⅡ

ズーム接眼レンズを使用する場合は、最望遠側でのご使用をおすすめします。

●AFランプが点灯しない時ケーブルレリーズを半押しにしてオートフォーカスが作動しない状態で、

COOLPIXの液晶モニターを見ながら再度フィールドスコープのピントリング、あるいはフ

ァーブルフォトのピント合わせノブでピントを合わせます。

COOLPIXの設定は下記の設定をおすすめします。

その他の設定は初期設定のままです。（初心者への推奨設定です。必要に応じて変更してください。）

A(絞り優先オート）モードにセットします。

このたびは、COOLPIXP5000シリーズ専用カメラブラケットをお買い上げいただきまし

て、まことにありがとうございます。本製品はフィールドスコープとの組み合わせにより、

超望遠でのデジタル写真撮影が可能となります。また、ファーブルフォトとの組み合わせに

より、顕微鏡写真撮影も行えます。

＊ブラケットリングFSBR-4はブラケットFSB-4には使用できますが、他のブラケットには使用できません。ご注意ください。

カメラの設定

1. 滑り止めパッドの裏紙をはがし、COOLPIXP5000/P5100のシャッターボタンに貼り付けます。

2. アダプターねじの保護リングを矢印（黒）の方向に回して外します。（図1）

3. 前板固定リングを矢印（黒）の方向に回してゆるめ、前板が自由に動くようにします。（図2）

4. 本体取り付けねじとアダプターねじを合わせ、本体を矢印（白）の方向に回してCOOLPIXP5000/P5100にねじこみます。（図3）

注） COOLPIXP5000/P5100がレリーズ取り付け部とカメラ座の間に入るように組み合わせてください。

注）ねじ切りには個体差があるため、ねじこみ後の本体固定ねじの位置はお手持ちのカメラによって異なります。性能には問題ありません。

5. 矢印（黒）のように、アダプターのカメラ座とCOOLPIXP5000/P5100のレリーズ部を指で押してCOOLPIXP5000/P5100をカメラ座に密着させ、前板固定リングを矢印（白）の方向に回して固定します。（図4）

6. ケーブルレリーズを使用しないときには、レリーズホルダーの隙間にはめ込んで固定できます。（図5）

7. 使用後は、必ずアダプターねじの保護リングを装着してください。図1と逆の方向に回すと、取り付けられます。

撮影時のご注意

・超望遠あるいは超拡大での撮影はブレやすくなりますので、三脚は頑丈なものを使用してください。

・比較的像揺れが起こりやすいため、撮影には十分ご注意ください。

・超望遠あるいは超拡大での撮影となるため、カメラのオートフォーカスではピントが合いにくい場合が

あります。連写モードで、複数枚の撮影をおすすめします。

運搬時のご注意

・持ち運びや移動の際は、接眼レンズおよびファーブルフォトからブラケットを取りはずした状態で行う

ことをおすすめします。

■COOLPIXと組み合わせた場合の合成焦点距離 [ブラケット使用時の35mm判換算焦点距離]＝ [COOLPIXP5000/P5100の35mm判換算焦点距離（36〜126mm）]× [接眼レンズの倍率]

1：AまたはB、いずれかの組み合わせで接眼レンズをフィールドスコープにねじ込みます。

2：Cを接眼レンズあるいはファーブルフォトに取り付けます。

＊：ブラケットは押しあてて固定してください。

：16x/24x/30xワイド DS接眼レンズを使用する場合には、ブラケットリングFSBR-4をFSB-6本体に組み込みます。

･黒いゴムリングは本体奥のみぞに、パシッと音がするまで、確実に押し込んでください。

･押し込みが不十分なときや未装着の場合、条件により画像の四隅に影が出ることがあります。

：その他のレンズを使用する場合には、ブラケットリングFSBR-4をはずしてください。

･リングの内側に指を引っかけて引くとはずれます。ゴムリングによる抵抗により、はずれにくい場合があります。

･装着したまま使用した場合には、画像の四隅の影が大きくなります。

A：ワイドMC、またはMCⅡズーム接眼レンズにFSA-1、2を組んだもの。

B：フィールドスコープ接眼レンズ（16x/24x/30x、27x/40x/50x、40x/60x/75x）

ワイドDS

C：フィールドスコープコンパクトデジタルカメラブラケットFSB-6にCOOLPIXP5000/

P5100を組み合わせたもの。

影(ケラレ)が生じた場合には

・撮影した写真に影(ケラレ)が生じた場合、カメラがずれを起こしている可能性があります。取付け位置

を確認して、再度取付けを行ってください。

・40x/60x/75xワイドDSレンズは、ワイド端でケラレが出ます。

Thank you for purchasing Nikon's Fieldscope Digital Camera Bracket for the COOLPIX

P5000/P5100. Using your digital camera in combination with a Fieldscope enables you

to take super-telephoto digital pictures. Furthermore, when used in combination with

a Nikon EZ-Micro Fieldmicroscope this bracket enables photomicroscopy.

Items supplied

•Bracket ring FSBR-4 x 1 (comes attached to the bracket)

Note: Bracket ring FSBR-4 should be used only with Nikon's FSB-4 bracket,not with other brackets.

Nomenclature

Notes for shooting

•Use a solid tripod during super-telephoto or super-closeup shooting to ensure steady images.

•Beware of camera shake as small vibrations at high magnification can ruin a photograph.

•With super-telephoto or super-closeup shooting, it may be difficult to obtain a precise focus

with the camera's AF function. We recommend that you take a series of pictures of the same

subject in sequence, to ensure that you capture the desired image.

Note for carrying

•For carrying or transport, we recommend that you remove the bracket from the lens or EZ-

Micro Fieldmicroscope.

Attaching the FSB-6 to a digital camera

1. Remove the backing sheet from the non-skid pad, then affix to the COOLPIX P5000/P5100's shutter release button

2. Remove the adapter screw protection ring from the COOLPIX P5000/P5100 by turning it counterclockwise. (Fig. 1)

3. Rotate the front plate fixing ring counterclockwise to allow the front plate to be moved freely. (Fig. 2)

4. Place the left side of COOLPIX P5000/P5100 between the cable release socket and the cable release holder, then push the bracket body into the adapter screw of the

COOLPIX and rotate clockwise. (Fig. 3)

After attaching the body to the COOLPIX P5000/P5100, the position of the bracket fixing screw may not come to the top of the bracket body because each screw has

different threads. This has no effect on performance.

5. Push the bracket onto the COOLPIX P5000/P5100 as shown in Fig. 4 (black arrow), until it snaps into place. Then, tighten the front plate by rotating the front plate ring

(white arrow).

6. When you are not using the cable release, set in the cable release socket. (Fig. 5)

7. After use, replace the adapter screw protection ring on the COOLPIX P5000/P5100 lens.

Camera settings

•Focusing

Focus first using controls on the Fieldscope or EZ-Micro, then make fine adjustments with the

camera's AF function.

•Shooting

Use the cable release, depressing it gently.

•Camera zoom setting

When shooting with the zoom at a wide-angle setting, depending on the type of eyepiece you

are using, the four corners of the image may appear shaded, giving it a rounded appearance.

With the MC or MC II Zoom Eyepiece, we recommend using the maximum telephoto setting.

•When the AF lamp does not turn on

After locking the focus by pressing the shutter release button halfway, set the focus by

adjusting the focus ring on the Fieldscope or the focus knob on the EZ-Micro while viewing the

LCD monitor. This turns on the AF lamp.

1Screw the eyepiece (Aor B) into the eyepiece

socket.

2Attach the assembly in Cto the eyepiece or the EZ-

Micro Fieldmicroscope.

*While fixing it in place, keep the bracket pressed.

With the 16x/24x/30x Wide DS Eyepiece, attach the

bracket ring FSBR-4 to the bracket FSB-6.

•Press the bracket ring against the bracket until the

black rubber ring snaps into the groove on the

bracket.

•If the bracket ring is not attached or not attached

securely, shade may appear in the four corners of the

image.

With other eyepieces, remove the bracket ring FSBR-4.

•The bracket ring can be removed by inserting a

finger in the ring and pulling. (It may be tight due to

resistance from the rubber.)

•If the bracket ring is not removed, the four corners of

the image will appear more shaded.
